## Space

Sunny and spacious 3 bed/2 bath upper-level (3rd story) unit with one ensuite bath, double vanity, and a clawfoot tub! The 2nd and 3rd bedroom are in tandem, access is through the 2nd bedroom. There is a private deck with a patio set to enjoy outdoor dining amongst the trees. There is a washer & dryer in the unit. The smart TV has streaming apps (personal subscriptions needed) and 400 Mbps high-speed internet. We provide beach towels for hanging out at the river. The downstairs unit is a short-term rental as well, please be respectful of their space and noise level. We provide a Pack 'n Play portable crib with organic cotton sheet & blanket. *The fireplace is electric and a secondary source of heat.

*NO PARTIES: We have a strict 'No Party' policy-parties or events are not allowed. Quiet hours are enforced from 10 pm to 8 am.*

*PETS: ONLY 2 PET ALLOWED (N/A to service animals, applicable to ESA's). A pet fee will apply; pets can not be left unattended in your room. Please add your pet to the reservation, or disclose your pet to our hospitality team after booking.

**Cell reception is very weak in Forestville. There is Wifi at the house for wifi calling/texting/emails.

## Access

You'll have access to the entire top unit, including the deck with an outdoor seating area, no one will be sharing this space with you. You will also have access to a gated parking area with 2 parking spots.

## Interaction

This is a self-serve stay. We are off-site hosts; there is no front desk or office, and we provide contactless self-check-in. We have a dedicated hospitality phone line in case of emergencies (24/7) and our team is available on call, text, or chat during 5 am - 1 am to help you during your stay!

## Neighborhood

The most amazing part of this property is its location. Casa Del Rio is one house away from the Forestville Russian River beach access to Mother's Beach! It is within minutes of many boutique and world-renowned wineries.

There is a small convenience store named "Sam's Market" where you can pick up provisions. If you need a larger store, there is a Safeway, 10 minutes west on River Road.

## Transit

Uber is usually available with 10-15 minutes of wait time. Reception is not available for T-Mobile and Sprint at the house but there is Wifi.

## Notes

For security, there are 3 cameras, all outside. One in the back driveway, one at the front of the driveway, and a third on top of the back staircase.

Very clean and in a great area for wineries, restaurants and Redwood treesThe downside is that it does not have central heating and during our stay the nights were into the 40's and 50's the daytime temps never got out of the sixties so the Condo stayed cold the entire 3 days. There is a electric fireplace in the living room but in the hallway the temp hovered around 63/65 degrees and the bathrooms and bedrooms felt even colder. The host never responded to our concerns about the heat issue. The neighborhood has many homes with broken down vehicles and trash scattered around although it never felt unsafe, just looking out from the windows was pretty unattractive.

This home was quite spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, drip coffee pot, etc.. Check-in and out was super simple and communication with the host/manager was quick and polite. We were visiting family near by and spent most of our time with them but we were glad to have enough space and showers to go “home” to in the evening.

River Retreat

Spacious and perfect for a larger group traveling together. Beautiful light and easy river access as well as proximity to many vineyards. Host was very communicative and checkin/out process was very easy.

Nice place worked well for us

We spent 2 nights while visiting wineries in the Dry Creek Valley. The main living area, kitchen, dining, living room is very nice and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms are OK. Everything was clean and functional. Guests should be aware this unit is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The location and the property worked well for us.

Great stay in Forestville

Our family of three enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space. We received all the check-in information ahead of time and management was very responsive with inquiries. We found the location to be great. Unfortunately, it rained a lot the first few days of our stay and we did not get to enjoy the Russian River as planned. But the river is a short walk away. This unit is on the 3rd floor which may be a challenge for seniors. We didn't spend much time outside the house due to the rain, aside from letting our little one jump in the puddles. The area was pretty quiet during our stay. We were thankful for the washer and dryer as we were getting wet every day during our outings. We enjoyed our time in Forestville and hope to come back.

Arrived with wasps

When we arrived there were live wasps in one of the bedrooms. We called and within the hour someone was there to remove the wasps and the nests. The response was fast but it was upsetting to walk into. It did not ruin our stay but it would have been nice to have it addressed prior to walking into it. The house is well stocked and comfortable. We all said we would stay there again.

Fun treefort!

The family and I had a fun stay at Casa Del Rio. Couple of things to make note of: 1) the unit is on the third floor. Access is via a super-sturdy staircase on the river side of the building. You have to carry everything up. 2) there is a neighbor dog that starts barking around 5am and barks every few minutes until 8am. I believe the dog barking and the run down property to the east are a package. 3) the unit is clean and everything is functional. The floors aren't all plumb so pay attention to which doors fall open by gravity.

Enjoyable Stay

Only stayed one night for a family get together at another residence. House was exactly as expected and met our needs. Beds were clean, comfortable and made for a good nights sleep. Location is close to the river in a quiet neighborhood. Would stay again the next time we're in town.

High school reunion

Property was very well equipped and spacious. We rented the property to accommodate additional guests for our reunion for a two night stay. Guests enjoyed access to the local beach, two rounds of golf at Northwood , wine tasting and two hosted dinners . We will definitely consider renting the property next year.

Long weekend

Absolutely stunning

It was like staying in a treehouse! The views from the huge windows in all the rooms show nothing but trees so you feel like you are staying in the trees in this 3rd level beauty of a home. Gorgeous inside and just a very short walk to the Russian River. Friendly and communicative host! Highly recommend!! We just loved our stay!!

Girls Getaway

Four senior friends shared this lovely home for 3 nights. It’s a comfortable home, we’ll appointed and located close to the River. The beds are good and it’s a quiet street, midweek. A couple of things to mention for the safety of other guests. The step down to the bath rub Is tricky when it’s dark. Maybe some reflective tape on that would prevent falling (as I did in the dark early morning hours.) The bathtub is potentially a hazardous area with no grab bars. We mostly used the other bathroom, fearful of slipping. Lastly the stair rail outside is difficult to hold when using the stairs. It’s difficult to grab a hand around and makes holding awkward. Otherwise, it is a great place with lots of room. The remodel of the home is spot on!

Beautiful and convenient home.

This rental was clean, spacious, comfortable, and easy to use. It was wonderful to walk to the river every day and not drive anywhere— this made for a very relaxing vacation!
