Enjoy peaceful views of the marsh from the patio of this 3bd 3ba Folly Beach Vacation Rental. This property is located on the second floor of the Marsh Winds community just minutes from the ocean and downtown Folly Beach.

A home away from home, this unit boasts an updated, fully equipped kitchen to accommodate all of your cooking needs! With the kitchen open to the living area, entertain friends and family or just enjoy the breeze through the patio doors. Step onto the patio with seating for eight and relish the peaceful sounds of the marsh and river while reading a book or appreciating great conversation with family.

Off of the patio find the queen master bedroom with its own bathroom with a garden tub and stand-alone shower. Down the hall you can find a hall bath That connects to one of the two more bedrooms, perfect for children or couples. Speaking of children, this house comes stocked with a pack and play so that you do not have to travel with or rent one.

If you’re not feeling like the walk/drive to the beach, you do not have to go far to relax by the water. Marsh Winds community offers a community pool with a seating area perfect for watching the children as they swim.

Come enjoy being minutes from the nightlife and fun of Folly Beach with a place to escape to for tranquil nights.

Lovely Condo

We really enjoyed our time at this condo. The location was perfect between downtown Charleston to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Folly Beach, The Marshes

This property was well stocked with everything you need. It was clean and nicely decorated. I liked how it was writhing walking distance to downtown as parking can be a challenge on the Island.

Thanksgiving family trip

Great location,just a short walk to all the restaurant and bars on Folly Beach. The condo was nice,the kitchen was very well stock with everything you think you would need. The porch view was so relaxing. Having shopping carts by the elevator to help with unloading and loading your car was a big plus.

We came for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. The condo was wonderfully decorated and clean. It had everything we needed. Very pleased!

Great layout and location! Super clean.

Perfect location, space was fantastic, high ceilings & screened in porch. Tons of games were a bonus. Every kitchen supply & gadget you could ever need. Parking was easy, elevator and luggage carts were a great surprise.

Great Location

We really loved the amount of space that this place offered. It was great for our group of 5 adults. The location was great, as well. We were able to enjoy Folly Beach activities and could easily drive into Charleston for sight seeing and a couple nice meals! The only complaint I have regarding this rental is the furniture. It is in desperate need of being replaced. You can feel the springs every time you sit down on the sofa or the chairs in the living area. I would only consider renting here again if they get new furniture.

Very cute and great location

Stayed here for a girls weekend trip. It was a great location for the price-still close enough to walk to the main bars/restaurants in Folly and the beach. We did end up driving to the beach because we had so much gear but parking wasn't as bad as we thought. Condo was very clean and had an abundance of towels, washcloths, and extra sheets, and was beautifully decorated. There was an issue with the dishwasher while we were there and Laurie had someone come fix it the next day. She was very accessible via text/call if needed and that was so nice! Definitely recommend this condo if you want to be close to everything but for a great price!

The beds in the smaller bedrooms definitely need replacing They are sagging ALOT The bedroom on the left when walking in, the bed frame is broke! This room also needs some kind of dressser Showers needed to be re-rinsed. All had hair in them!! A few of the towels also had hair caught in them

It was okay!

First thing we notice that was wrong with property was not enough sitting for a family. Second was the the couch middle cushion was broke and spring was poking while you were sitting. Third thing the porch fan broke and about hit my kids in the head. Fourth need a bigger bed in the master like a King and some kind of stool to get in the bed for short people. Fifth to be more Handicap Accessible. Rails and such in the Bathrooms.

Yearly family vacation

There were many problems with the property. We checked in on Saturday and contacted the property manager on Sunday. The ceiling light in the small bedroom did not work from the wall switch so when my sister-in-law pulled the string a piece of glass hit her in the head. The lamp did not have the knob to turn it on so there were no lights in that bedroom. The ceiling fixture took a special bulbs which were not available at the property .The manager asked me to send a picture which I did but no bulbs were ever delivered and she did not ask if my sister in law was injured. The sheets in the master were ripped and the fam in the bathroom in the second bedroom was not operable. Also the furniture is in need of replacement or repair. The sofa springs in the middle seat are broken and you are unable to sit on that cushion. I have used VRBO many times in the past and this is my first time in 62 yrs that I have had such a bad experience and without anyone reaching out to fix issues while we were there .

Friend weekend getaway

We arrived and pleasantly welcomed. The condo was very inviting. We had plenty of room for each person, and each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could imagine to cook! We had a concern with the bedding the first night, and the managers responded very well and quickly. Thank you for an awesome weekend!!

Family Opinions

Don’t get me wrong when I give mine and my family’s opinion based on the price for a week. We enjoyed the home but feel like a little more attention to detail would go a long way. The hall bathroom shower head needs replacing - the water just dribbles out. The mattresses in all the small bedrooms are hard. The big bedroom is not quite that hard. The left sink in the master bath drains too slow. The drain needs cleaning. The only towels that are worth a darn are the orange ones. The white ones are dingy and looks like they cleaned the floor with them. The dishwasher does not clean or even get all of the detergent out. The television in the front bedroom has horrible reception. The two smaller bedrooms need a little something to put toiletries on. Other than that we enjoyed the back screened porch and the cleanliness of everything.

Enjoyable Family Time

Nice, clean, easy checkin and checkout. I rented this condo because of the handicap accessibility for my 90 yr old dad who is in a wheelchair. Handicap suggestions are to add handrails for the toilets and showers and install ADA compliant toilets which are taller and install handheld shower heads. The condo was really nice and we really enjoyed it and would definitely rent again. Also would be good to add a couple more blankets or quilts for the sofa bed. Oh, and an ice cream scoop.

Great place to stay.

My friends thought we needed more towels and a pair of scissors. They also said the sofa and chairs were not comfortable. I thoght they were ok.

Our Labor Day Stay

We were super close to everything. Condo was great except for TV situation. The TV in front bedroom was snowy, so we had to share the TV in den. A TV in master would be good. Other than that, a great stay. Would highly recommend, husband and I just didn't like watching what the teen girls wanted to watch. Lol

Very nice experience

Very nice 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with good floor plan. Please note the blinds in the right front bedroom didn’t work. Great location for easy access to the beach. We were very happy that we were able to bring our dog, she had a great time too! The rental company Southern Shores was very attentive.

Difficulty with communication.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience with this property. Our first fulfill day we had a man try to get into the property without identifying himself about a leak in our property going to the one below (there was no leak). When we asked him to tell us who he was he disappeared and we didn’t see him again. We tried to call the property manager and left a message with no reply. Luckily this man disappeared but if not this would have been even worse. There was also significantly limited supplies. Only half a roll of paper towels, no extra toilet paper, no cleaning supplies, etc. I was told that at least the paper supplies would be provided. Clean overall but not a great experience.
