Pros: The living space was comfortable and the deck was pleasant. We enjoyed the secluded feel. The fenced-in outside area was great for letting the dogs out without constant supervision. The A/C units worked well.Cons: When we arrived, some of the "clean" dishes and silverware were clearly dirty. The stove and oven were not in great shape and were uncomfortable to use. The deck was covered in tree debris. The outside area is not well maintained and isn't useful for much more than letting dogs out. Finally, as described in the listing, the roads leading to the property are in poor shape and one has to drive very slowly, at least with a standard sedan. That means that it takes 15 minutes each way to/from the main road, so any outing is a big time investment.

Salmina Valley and Cole Ridge watershed is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood located amongst the oak and pine trees. Loch Lomond mountain resort is 2 miles (10 min drive) away. It features a grocery store and deli, mailing services, Roadhouse restaurant and bar, as well as a coffee shop. The village also has a community swimming pool which is the oldest continually operating Olympic sized pool in California. The pool operates from Memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend.
