Perfect Spot!

This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to get away. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, and the sound of the river was very relaxing. Also, the bed was AMAZING. We will absolutely be back!

Front desk clerk could only say “you should have gotten a map in an email.” Had window closed so as not to help. We had prior occupants’ main trash under cabinet. Reported but she only said where WE could get rid of it. Asked for late checkout since we’d been ill and were moving slowly: were reluctantly granted 30 minutes when my husband pushed. He had to go in person to front desk to get an hour. Nice room but steep steps.

Weekend in Estes

Probably wouldn’t stay here again. We booked this about a week in advance and feel like we were somewhat mislead. The room was very small- smaller than most hotel rooms. The river view was 2 stories up an on a deck which we questioned the safety. Seemed old. No air conditioning, which I know is not unusual for CO but was very warm and uncomfortable to sleep in.The kitchenette consisted of a microwave and frig. No sink but in the bathroom. I don’t feel that all rooms had the same amenities. We learned that you get what you pay for.
