About Kim

We are from Lake Charles Louisiana. Always dreamed of moving to Colorado. I guess you can say my dreams came true. My husband and I have been married 17 years and have a very lively 4 year old son. Being from the South I LOVE meeting and talking to people. I am looking forward to meeting and talking to you.

Kim purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Kim chose Front Range

The moment we walked into this historic 1938 cabin, we fell in love. It was the second house we saw and knew it was a gem. We want to share our lovely cabin full of historic charm with you. We will love for you to stay and have the same feeling we did the moment we walked through the door. I hope you love it as much as we do.

What makes this cabin unique

1 mile from Downtown Estes. 5.8 miles to Beaver Meadows Park entrance. Enjoy all the Elk and deer that graze the property. Because Lake Estes is walking distance from the cabin, Elk love this spot. It's a nice attraction for most wildlife.

We absolutely loved staying here.

Charming and cozy, we loved this staying in this comfy cabin. The rustic charm of the cabin and the close proximity to all that Estes had to offer was truly delightful. It was everything we were looking for.

Loved it

Really nice cabin. You can tell the owners care about the property and maintain it well. The old stove worked great. There was a very nice grill to use outside. We enjoyed staying here.

A very cozy little cabin!

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was super cozy as soon as we turned the heat on! The Tempurpedic mattress also made for a luxurious stay, and the coffee and creamer in the morning was perfect. For our short stay, I wish we'd stayed a little closer to town, but this cabin as affordable and gave us a great taste for Estes Park!

Memorable Stay

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was easy to find, and is a conveniently quick drive from downtown Estes Park. It is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Kim was very responsive and helpful with all our questions. We had a great stay and will visit again.

We will be back!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was cozy, homey and rustic. And clean! We loved being apart from the madding crowd, but just minutes from the center of town. From the very start, this felt like a vacation far far away from our regular lives. We plan to repeat this trip to "our" cabin next fall.
