DRIVEWAY | ENTRANCE
A private gate & circular drive welcome you to our property. A self-check in door code that will be provided 72 hours prior to arrival.

LIVING ROOM
Cathedral ceilings & sky lights greet you in this epic great room. The room floods with natural light, and has a gas fireplace and access to the screened in porch.

KITCHEN
Our well stocked kitchen has all of the basics and then some! (IE Crockpot, Panini Maker, Toaster Oven, Waffle Maker etc) You’ll enjoy cooking and preparing meals in our open-concept kitchen with bar top for four.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR DINING
Sitting amongst the treetops - the dining space and screened in porch both seat 8 guests. There are also 4 bar stools at the kitchen island for additionally seating.

PRIMARY BEDROOM | Main Level
King bed with a gas fireplace. Walk out to screened-in porch plus direct access to main floor bath.

BATHROOMS | Main & Terrace Levels
There is a full bathroom on the main & terrace level with two entrances (one from the bedroom and one from the hallway.). Both have private toilet/shower room so multiple people can be getting ready at the same time.

TERRACE LEVEL BEDROOMS
Guest Bedroom |1 King bed with entrance to bathroom and a door leading you outside to the hot tub.

Bunk Room | This room has four bunk beds and designed for KIDS ONLY. This is a “secret room" that kids can find via a scavenger hunt This is sure to gain FIVE star approval from your kiddos!

DEN/GAME ROOM
Entertainment for all ages with Shuffle board table, board games, TV and a cozy wood burning fireplace.

RIVER ACCESS
Our property sits on the widest part of Licklog Creek as it merges with the Cartecay River. It’s a slice of paradise at the water's edge with plenty of room to fish, roam & explore, roast s’mores, dip your toes in the crisp water, picnic or simply relax. (Swim at your own risk.) BYOP (Bring Your Own Pole) fish for Trout, Bass and Perch

GUEST ACCESS
The road is gravel and dirt. Sedans should have no issues accessing the cabin. You will have access to the entire cabin, and the number of beds to accommodate the number of guests in your reservation.

HOUSE RULES:
- Guest must be 25 years old or older to book.
- Booking guest must be present on-site and take responsibility for all guest activities
- No Smoking or Vaping anywhere on property (a minimum fee of $800 will be charged for failure to comply)
- No Pets (a minimum fee of $600 will be charged for failure to comply)
- No unregistered guests allowed
- No Firearms or Fireworks allowed.
- No tree carvings/disturbances of tree bark allowed anywhere on our property.
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the house and property.
- Leave the home in the same condition as you found it.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
This property is very unique. It's secluded, but close to everything. the drive to the cabin is stunning. The cabin is well appointed, and honestly just so magical at the river front. Come to get away or adventure - there is something for everyone in Ellijay! SECURITY CAMERAS: In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the cabin is equipped with exterior monitoring devices. There are no cameras facing the hot tub.

Such a wonderful cabin and location in the Georgia mountains. Isolated to allow for peaceful relaxation and close enough to all the local attractions that you may want to enjoy. The hospitality shown by the owners was amazing. This is definitely a place i would recommend for a wonderful and relaxing getaway.

Elijay Cabin

We enjoyed this lovely cabin and location very much. It is a stone's throw to the apple orchards and town square in Elijay. The cabin is spacious yet cozy with a nice boardwalk down to the fire pit and creek. The kids loved the bunkbeds and colored lights along with the games and hot tub. Fully stocked kitchen and wonderful screened in porch and outside space. We hope to be back!

This property is fantastic! The host does a beautiful job of including cute details for your comfort as well as fun entertainment such as flashlights and binoculars, marshmallow roasting sticks and even a scavenger hunt for the kids. We found our stay to be quite cozy, snuggling up to the fire place at night with blankets and watching the leaves fall while sitting on the back porch. I even ended up taking a mid-day nap by the fire pit listening to the creek. The location is central to dining, shopping, grocery, hiking, vineyards, apple picking - just about anything you’d want to do is only 5-15min away and yet you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. It’s exactly what we were looking for! The amenities were plentiful, they even included extra towels for the hot tub and creek. We also found the kitchen to be well stocked. We hope to come back soon! We appreciate the hosts, too, very responsive and helpful to plan such a delightful trip.

5/5 Stars – Amazing Stay for Our Family Wedding Weekend!

We stayed at this cozy cabin for a family wedding in Ellijay, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Amy and Luke were truly incredible hosts. Their communication was personal, prompt, and so helpful—they made us feel like more than just guests. They even provided fantastic local recommendations that added to our weekend experience. The accommodations were warm and inviting, with all the comforts of home. The cabin was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly stocked with everything we needed. We loved relaxing in the cozy living room and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect retreat after all the wedding festivities. If you’re planning a trip to Ellijay, we can’t recommend this cabin (and these hosts) enough. Amy and Luke made our stay so memorable, and we can’t wait to return!

Wish We Could have Stayed Longer!

We had a great, but short, stay at Bourbon Falls Cabin. We were road tripping from PA, through NC, SC, and GA and stayed here for our two nights in GA. Our stay here gave us our only rest/down day of our trip and it was much needed! I thought for sure that my teenagers (who range in height from 5’9” to 6’2”) would choose the bigger beds in the downstairs bedroom but instead they LOVED the built in beds and LED lights of the bunk room. We played games in the game room, enjoyed the hot tub two different times in one day, and ate dinner on the upper screened in deck. We definitely wished we could have stayed for another day or two. The welcome book provided all the information needed to enjoy our stay, so there were no surprises. The way our trip timing played out, we did arrive LATE in the evening. Getting to the house is as well marked and described as it can be for the environment but I would recommend arriving in the daylight :) Thanks, Brooke, for a great stay!

Wonderful Mountain Escape

Just returned from a 6-night getaway to Bourbon Falls, and it was exactly the week our family needed. It’s nestled in the woods about 15 minutes from Ellijay’s charming Main St. We appreciated the proximity to hiking, tubing and exploring the other neighboring towns of Blue Ridge and Helen. We also loved relaxing around the cabin, splashing in the creek (great for kids), and sitting on the upper screened-in deck with a beer, a book and our dog. We’d love to return at a cooler time for an apple festival in the fall. Thank you Brooke and Josh for a lovely stay on Rusty Lady Lane.

Family Getaway

This property was everything we were looking for. It was a nice secluded area with plenty of things to do. We spent a considerable amount of time in the creek and even caught a few fish. The evenings were spent using the fire pit by the creek as well as the solo stove fire pit on the deck. There were plenty of games, movies, and books to enjoy. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are hoping to come back in the future.

Loved this cabin!

This is a great house! Nice open floor plan on the main floor, wonderful screen-in porch, and our kids (11, 13, 15) loved the built-in bunks downstairs. The property was very private, and we enjoyed having the creek to listen to and play in. Great launching point for all our activities in the area.

We love hosting and all things hospitality. Our goal is to ensure you have the best time ever, so please reach out if we can be of service in any way.

Why they chose this property

We chose this property for it's dreamy location. It's so convenient to everything you could possibly want to do while in the N Georgia Mountains, and yet is very private and tranquil. We love being close to local attractions, Cider House, Orchards and Vinyards. Amicalola Falls is a family favorite and we absolutely love trying new restaurants in town.

What makes this property unique

Our Cabin is magical in that it has everything you could possibly desire in a sweet mountain cabin get away. For starters, our property sits on Licklog Creek that converges with the Cartecay River just around the corner. It is designated as a Georgia Trout stream and is perfect for fly fishing or exploring. As you pull in, you will be greeted by a circular driveway, with immediate views of the river. River Ridge hideaway has a little something for everyone. Hot tub, Game Room/Den, three bedrooms and 3 indoor fireplaces, a fire pit, desk for remote work, porches galore, and a ""secret" bunkroom that kiddos can discover while you are unpacking the car. This place will have you coming back for more fun and relaxation and we just love that.
