Enjoy this cottage nestled in historic Strawberry Pointe. The neighborhood gives off a total vacation vibe! Stroll with your morning cup of coffee to watch the sunrise, or a glass of wine to watch the sunset at the neighborhood beach. Just a short drive to scenic hikes and the Grand Haven sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Cruise through Spring Lake market square and enjoy award winning restaurants, rooftop and tiki bars. Experience specialty shops, the Farmer's Market and splash park.
The space
With so much to do in the area, come join us for a get-away! Very close to the bike path that will take you all the way to Grand Haven and beyond. There's lots of good hiking. The restaurants and shops are open. The sunsets have been amazing! The Lakehouse is within walking distance to Spring Lake public beach for swimming and kayaking. One of the special qualities of Spring Lake is that it is a very short drive to the fun and entertainment in Grand Haven, but also a quiet retreat in the evenings when you want to relax. We believe Spring Lake dining choices are the best in the area.

Inside: This two bedroom, 1 bath home is set up to accommodate 6 people: a queen bed (sleeps 2) in the master bedroom, a trundle and twin bed in the second bedroom (sleeps 3), and a sleeper couch in the living room. There is a sliding door to an elevated deck to enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise, or a glass of wine while watching the sunset. There is central air for your comfort.

Outdoors: There is a deck, grill, comfortable patio furniture and umbrella, and a fire pit available for guest use. There is a shed that will contain all of your beach needs. The lawn is beautifully landscaped and private.

Parking: spacious parking for two vehicles on site, or easily park on a nearby side street.
Guest access
Guests will have full keyless access to the house and shaded private backyard.
We have everything you need to make your vacation relaxing. Including: beach umbrella, cooler, and beach toys. There will be an HDTV, and WIFI.
There is a gas grill and full-sized washer and dryer.
Other things to note
Grand Haven State Park is a quick four-mile drive, or a short scenic bike ride on the bike path, that extends all the way into Grand Haven and beyond. What does Spring Lake and Grand Haven have to offer? Award winning beaches, beautiful hiking trails, the 2nd largest waterfront musical fountain in the world (2nd to the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas), boutique and antique shopping, local art, and waterfront dining and beach strolls.

A few local favorite establishments are within walking distance including: The Village Baker, Attwood's, offering rooftop dining, Two Tony's Italian Kitchen and wine bar, Burger Theory and Tiki Bar, Ted's traditional American Cuisine (a short drive), and Stan's Bar, a favorite of the locals--all offering outdoor seating.

Cozy, clean, centrally located

This home is immaculately clean and filled with cozy charm making it feel very much like a home away from home. Owner is a fast communicator and provided family entertainment for all ages. The backyard is creatively landscaped and feels very private to enjoy time with family. Well located to explore the surrounding area but not be overwhelmed by summer travelers.
