We had a wonderful time at this OB cottage! Everything was clean, instructions were clear, the house was full of nice little touches, and the location was excellent. We loved spending time on the roof and it was great how many shops and restaurants were walkable. Would absolutely stay here again!

Property was clean. Restaurants, shops and beach were easy walk from the house. Our host checked in on us during our stay to make sure all was just what we hoped for. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for group trip

We had a perfect time staying here for a work conference. The property is clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Heather was very communicative and helpful. Would book again!

We had such a pleasant stay! The house opens up and is much larger than it seems in the photos - perfect for a group. We loved using both the yard and the rooftop deck, and the location was perfect with the beach, shops, restaurants, and cafes all within walking distance. The decor is very beachy, warm, and cozy and feels much more welcoming than your typical vacation rental. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and beach towels, games, etc. are all provided. Check in/out instructions were a breeze, hosts were very communicative, and the property was very clean. 10/10 would definitely stay again!

A sweet find in the middle of OB!!

Clean, chill, perfectly appointed house for my whole family of adult kids and myself. Surprised, grateful and impressed with this house and will stay here again and again!!

Soccer parents

Heather was so great to work with. The house is exactly as advertised and the hosts were extremely accommodating. The fresh flowers, snacks, and coffee was a pleasant, and welcome surprise. We ate at a few of the recommended places in the book and we were not disappointed. The rooftop patio even allowed us to enjoy the fireworks at Sea World. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous Beach Home

We had a small family reunion and Beach Lotus was the perfect place for us. There were enough bedrooms for everyone to be comfortable. And it was walking distance to stores, restaurants, and the beach! Newport had such fun shopping. It was only 15 minutes to the airport, so we had no problem picking people up when they arrived. We also went to the zoo and explored Balboa Park. It was all so close. Adam and Heather are great hosts. They left us our privacy but were always available for recommendations and directions. And the house was immaculate. We had a great time and plan to come back here. Thanks Adam and Heather!

The property was perfect for my family, my brother's family, and our mom. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us to enjoy our time together. Everyone had there own space but several parts of the house were great for us to spend time together as a family. We enjoyed the backyard, the TV room, and the roof top deck throughout the week. The kitchen was the best we had ever stayed at and had everything we needed for we cooked some meals to share together during our stay. The area had so many things for us to walk to, from coffee to sushi to the beach to sandwiches to fish tacos. The host was also very generous with her time in communicating with us before and during our stay for any little thing. A fun time had by all. :)
