This home was perfect for our family gathering over New Year's. The home is very comfortable..we had 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-16) and so we didn't want a sterile, showpiece house that we felt we couldn't be ourselves in. Cia and Charlie were excellent hosts, answered all our questions, and provided a lovely home. The many beautiful plants made it feel extra special.

Our visit to San Diego was that much better because of our accomodations. The house had everything we needed and more! It was so great to be able to spend the day galevanting and be able to come back and relax for dinner. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. If our family is headed back to San Diego I would definitely book here again! Enoguh space that you can still get your quiet time if needed.

Terrific house and location. We visited with my two toddlers as well as four 80 year olds and the house was perfect. It was great to have three bedrooms on the main floor for the older people so they didn’t need to go up and down the stairs. The deck and balcony were awesome and our kids loved watching all of the planes from the deck and dining room. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool was lovely. Will definitely stay again in the future. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

the house is conveniently located, has plenty of room, the only negative i can say is NO AIR CONDITIONING, we were lucky, the outside temperature stayed below 75, and there was a good breeze

As you discovered, we are very fortunate here in Point Loma with our coastal climate. The marine layer and the steady ocean breezes, as you mentioned, typically keep the home at a very comfortable temperature, even in August. For clarity for future guests, we don't list A/C as an amenity, as it is not common for many homes in our immediate area. We do, however, provide fans to help circulate that fresh sea air. We thought the property was very appropriate for the family, with multiple entertainment areas to bring us all together. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the property and our trip. We felt at home all week. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better! This is our family home. We raised our four children here and this has been the most amazing place we've ever lived. We never tire of the spectacular views and the cool breezes make for comfortable days and nights all year round.

Why they chose this property

We lived a block away and when this house came up for sale we attended the opening. We knew immediately this was perfect for our family. We loved our old house but it was small and had only one bathroom This place had everything we needed and then some - it even had a pool! After living here 15 years and the kids are grown we embarked on this new adventure of VRBO. We are so excited! We stayed in a VRBO in Durango, CO one summer and were so impressed with the whole idea we decided to try it ourselves. I hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.
