Welcome to our family cottage on all sports Silver Lake, Mears. Silver Lake is a 690 acre All Sports lake with a nice sandy bottom, great for swimming and nearly 2,000 acres of sand dunes, a day-use area on Silver Lake (inland lake) and Silver Lake ORV Area. Our cottage is a 1400sf (+ 576sf garage/game room= total 1976sf) well equipped private cottage with contactless check in. Clean, comfortable and air conditioned with amazing lake views and dune views from nearly every room. We strive to exceed all expectations.

Ideal for two to three small families (6 adults plus kids or 8-10 adults) for a memorable vacation. NO parties/events. NO wedding parties/events. NO bachelor / bachelorette parties.

Bring your boat or jet ski or rent one! The public boat launch is just 7 houses away.

FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT & AMENITIES: Our 4-bedroom Dune Haven Lakehouse Cottage is beautifully decorated and has amazing lake views and dune views from almost every room. The open concept great room has vaulted ceilings and consists of kitchen, dining area and living room with the most amazing views!

The kitchen is nicely updated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Keurig and regular coffee maker, tea pot, crock pot, mixer and a dining table for gathering - indoor dining for 10-12, as well as outdoor dining for 14 on the multiple patio areas in front and back. Living area has comfortable seating and spectacular views of both the lake and the dunes, a 50-inch smart tv, DVD player, stereo, WiFi, and games. There are 4 Smart tv's: the living room, the king master bedroom, queen master bedroom and the garage/game room. Two newly updated full bathrooms and an outdoor shower with hot/cold water that is enclosed for privacy. Laundry with new washer and dryer.

All Linens (bedding, bath towels, beach towels, kitchen towels), Starter Kit (travel size dish detergent, 2 dish washer pods, 2 toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 1 roll of paper towels, travel size toiletries, variety of Keurig coffees, tea, sugar and basic spices) and a starter propane tank.

SLEEPING ACCOMMODATIONS (sleeps 14): King master bedroom with sliders to a private patio with awesome lake views, also has tv, bunk beds and on-suite shared bathroom, Queen master bedroom with French door to a private patio with awesome lake views, also has tv, bunk beds and on-suite shared bathroom, Queen bedroom, and bedroom with daybed and trundle, pack-n-play. The great room has a queen sofa sleeper (and the best views in the house)!

OUTSIDE: Our property boasts 60ft private lake frontage (just steps across N. Shore Dr.) with a lakeside firepit, 60ft dock, pontoon lift and jet ski lift and .39 acre property that adjoins Edgewood Drive. Our Cottage sits just across the street from our private lakefront lot, where you can swim or fish, boat/kayak or just sit by the fire pit and enjoy the fantastic views. There is plenty of space to spread out, barbecue on the patio overlooking the lake and dunes or on the back patio by the rec room/garage which also has great lake and dune views. We have an outdoor shower with hot/cold water, kayaks, bikes, pedal boat, 2 fire pits, gas grill (with starter propane tank), corn hole, horseshoes, wagon, beach chairs, fun family games. Oh, and did I forget to mention, we have a therapeutic HOT TUB (also with great lake views)!

We have an awesome-cool rec/game room in the 24 x 24ft (that's 576sf!) detached garage with bikes, a tv and refrigerator, wicker outdoor patio conversation seating, ping pong, foosball, and garage doors that open to a patio with outdoor seating/dining and views of the lake and dunes! Our rec/game room in the garage is open all year round but is not heated or cooled.

Off Season Rental (November-March) requires minimum 30-day (discounted) booking. We welcome long term renters!

** Please note that outdoor equipment and furnishings are stored away from approx. late October until May.

**Hot tub, Lawncare and landscaping maintenance will be performed as needed without notice.**

This is our own personal family vacation home. We spend time here with our kids and grandchildren and we’ve done our best to make it a comfortable, enjoyable, and special place to make our own family memories. We hope you enjoy our home (and respect it) as much as we do!
