Escape to the serene surroundings of Central Oregon and stay in this charming log cabin that exudes rustic charm and authenticity. Built from the logs hand-hewn on the property, this spacious cabin offers large rooms throughout, providing over 2000 square feet for your family or group to relax and unwind. The cabin's proximity to a variety of recreational activities makes it the perfect base for your outdoor adventures.
At Log Cabin Living, during the spring to fall months, there are a plethora of hikes in the woods and mountains to explore. With in a short drive there are several rivers and lakes to enjoy. The Umpqua National Forest has hot springs and about 17 waterfalls, all within a handful of miles of each other. There is an excellent golf course, Quail Run, that is just a short drive from the cabin. Furthermore, the cabin is situated adjacent to thousands of acres of BLM land that are open to the public for hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, hunting, off-road vehicle use, mountain biking, fishing, camping, and other recreational activities.
Additionally, during the winter months, you are 47 minutes from the Willamette Ski Resort. Quite a resort with great runs! The infamous Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort is approximately 45 minutes as well. You will also find several locations for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. All the BLM land and National Forests nearby are great for snowmobiling. Our log cabin features a large, circular parking area in front of the home, ideal for those hauling trailers. As with all our Sunriver and La Pine homes, we strongly recommend using 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles during the winter months.
Step inside this cozy cabin and discover several amenities to enhance your stay. From a pool table, board games, to an arcade with 600 classic games. There's no shortage of entertainment options. Unwind in style with a sleek, built-in bar nestled right in the loft—your spot for cocktails, conversation, and elevated evenings. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, central heating, a deck with patio furniture, and a gas grill for outdoor dining. Enjoy comfortable sleeping arrangements with a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, and three twin beds to accommodate everyone in your group.
This home is also just a short drive to the world-famous Crater Lake, Obsidian Flow, Deschutes River, Newberry National Volcano, and Bend, Oregon. After a day of outdoor fun, grab a meal at a local restaurant or food truck lot; then unwind in the living room, gathered around the wood stove while you take in the calming views of the majestic ponderosa trees from every window.
With its family-friendly amenities, including a high chair, Pack-N-Play, and baby gates, this cabin is perfect for creating lasting memories with your loved ones. Indulge in the peace and tranquility of the surrounding nature, and make the most of your La Pine getaway at this inviting log cabin. Book your stay today and discover the best of Central Oregon's stunning outdoor beauty and diverse recreational opportunities.'
