Perfect accommodation for extended family to get together for a long weekend. House was comfortable and well-appointed with plenty of space, beds, towels etc. Air conditioning worked perfectly when needed.

The location was perfect. The mattresses were all super comfortable. Lots of room for a large group. We all had our own space and privacy while then being able to spend time with one another. While the kitchen felt like it could be tight it worked really well for multiple people to prepare a meal. I can’t wait to come back.

Celebrated Thanksgiving with our family, including cooking and eating on Thanksgiving day. Really appreciated the comfort level in the rooms (beds were spectacular), and the two refrigerators. Plenty of space for multiple kids to play indoors, and the neighborhood was very walkable. Highly recommend.

Everything was nice and clean, cute house with great character. Host was responsive and helpful. I would stay there again! About an 8-10 minute drive to old port, some places within walking distance like Tandem backers. 15 mins to the airport. Great location

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

The West End neighborhood is gorgeous and the house was perfect for our group of 8. The beds were comfy and the house was incredible—we loved the outdoor area. Just a few minutes walking from great places such as Tandem Coffee and Bakery for coffee. We also leisurely walked from the house to downtown stopping at shops and restaurants along the way.

A Maine Weekend

Seven of us stayed at this beautiful home in a perfect location by the Western Promenade. Everyone had a comfortable bed, bathrooms and showers were plentiful, and the kitchen was perfectly appointed. Both cars we had fit into the garage (an added luxury). The beds were very comfortable and had soft sheets and fluffy towels. We loved every minute of our stay and made great use of the family room. Can't thank our hosts enough...very easy to work with and I would certainly rent from them again any time I am in Maine.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful historic Portland home during our annual consulting retreat. The house comfortably accommodated seven women traveling from across the East Coast, with seven bedrooms and 3½ bathrooms, so everyone had plenty of space and sharing the bathrooms was never an issue. The large living room was the perfect setting for our meetings, and the big TV made it easy to present our PowerPoint presentations throughout the week. We especially appreciated the spacious dining room, where we gathered each morning for breakfast and enjoyed relaxed dinners together in the evenings. As expected with a historic home, the bedrooms are cooled with window air-conditioning units rather than central air. We visited during a warm week, and the units kept the bedrooms comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, and very walkable. Uber drivers had no trouble finding the house, whether we were heading downtown, to the airport, or out for dinner.Overall, this home offered the perfect blend of historic charm, comfort, and functionality. It was an ideal place for both productive meetings and quality time together, and we would gladly stay here again.

Great for a family get together.. lots of room and close walk to arts district. Really easy drive then to all kinds of restaurants. Easy drive from airport.Parking is a premium in Portland and we were spoiled having a garage to park in.
