Boondock Retreat, pet friendly 4 bedroom home with EV charger

Boondock Retreat is a restored farmhouse on the west side of Seneca Lake. Located just a stones throw from the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and about 15 minutes from Watkins Glen, this cozy home has great proximity to the Seneca Lake wineries and towns.

Boondock has a large open Living room and Dining room area with patio doors to the deck and views of Seneca Lake. The Living Room has a big sectional sofa, smart tv, and a great little nook with games, puzzles, and a table to sit at to do both of these activities, and the dining room comfortably seats 8.

The kitchen has stainless appliances, an eat-in Kitchen island area, as well as a coffee bar area. The large windows in front of the sink face toward the lake, making dishes a pleasure rather than a chore!

The Primary bedroom is on the main floor with a King bed and attached full bath with walk-in shower. Upstairs there are 3 more bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, and another full bath with a tub/shower. There is a small living space on the landing upstairs with a couch and tv.

The house has a large deck on the back, facing towards the lake. **Note: this home is quite close to the lake, but does not have access to the lake. There is a grill just off of the deck and a patio in the yard with a firepit along with outdoor patio furniture. This home has a large yard with a fence running around much of the property.

**Guest must comply with maximum occupancy at all times. No Exceptions. Only 8 guests allowed at any time.
**Parking for 4 vehicles.
**We do allow one dog during a guest stay, must be less than 50# and well trained. Dog cannot be left unattended at any time and must stay off all furniture and linens.
**Guests are asked to initial a rental waiver, sent via email, immediately after booking

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire house. We enjoyed the back deck and fire out. There was plenty of room for the 7 adults and a 3 year old. We would definitely stay here again.

What an amazing house!!! So perfect for our girls long weekend!!! So clean perfect location! The kitchen has everything we needed! We had a chef come and cook us dinner and he even said how well stocked it was! Close to wineries which is why we were there! I definitely will stay here every time we are in the finger lakes!!!!

The stay was fine. We had an issue with Wifi codes. The instructions emailed to us stated a different code than the info binder in the house and was different than the small plaque in the kitchen. The one in the kitchen was correct. Those others need to be updated so it's not so confusing.The remote for the LR TV would not page to the right so it was difficult to get anywhere since all stations/icons were on to the right. We changed the batteries in the remote and somehow was able to - only by luck - able to move the cursor to the right; but not all the time. Very frustrating. Remote should be replaced. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were available. Property was nice with big yard. We enjoyed our visit to Seneca Lake
