Great place to stay! We had three couples and everyone had their own room and bathroom, plus plenty of common space to gather as well. The resort is beautiful aesthetically and very well maintained. There are a lot of accommodations and the restaurant in the lobby has great food and even better service. If you go, ask for Michael and tell him hi, he manages the restaurant / bar and was an absolute joy to be around. We will 100% go back to this place in the future.One thing I will note that we were not aware of is that there is a studio apartment next door with an adjoining door into this unit that is owned or managed by the same people. We didn’t realize that until after we got there, but had we known that ahead of time we would have brought another couple and put them I there. Just an FYI.I wish every place we stayed was as good as this one….great job.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For a quick long weekend, the condo and resort property was perfect. The unit was clean and pictures of condo matched the unit itself. The property is in a great location. Checking in at front desk to get parking pass and Resort Wriston Bands was very easy. The one thing that can be improved is having beach towels. For a long weekend, it would have been nice not to pack beach towels.

We were blown away by the view and convenience of this property. Every room was extremely spacious. The fridge had frozen coils and wasn't working but as soon as we notified the host, someone was sent up and it was fixed that day. We loved the convenience to the beach, along with the outdoor and indoor pools. Made it the perfect place to stay no matter the plans for the day, or the weather. We would love to come back! I've told so many people about it. Thank you for having us!

Nice quiet

Family vacation. The condos floor plan is great. The condo very clean . If you travel there without a car the location does not have a lot within walking distance. We liked the location because it was quieter than down near the boardwalk but everything was a close drive. I would definitely book through them again

Beach rental

Was disappointed that we couldn't get in until 4 when it appeared that the condo was not rented the previous day. Our flight arrived at 1115 so it would have been great to get the code ahead of time. I reached out a couple times and still hadnt received the code at 4pm. Reached out a final time and then the code came in. Outside of that it was a good experience

Luxury beach rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the unit was large and the view was fantastic I would not rate this a luxury beach rental. The bathrooms and furniture were dated. The kitchen had the bare minimum (I.e. one dish cloth?). When we arrived the front desk wld not give us a luggage cart to utilize because we had booked through Vrbo and not directly with the hotel. We were two seniors and as such we had to carry our luggage individually up the elevator making multiple trips and this was after a very long day of travelling.

Great location/wonderful restaurant and pools

The resort was awesome!! Totally loved the outdoor facilities and really enjoyed the restaurant. Our unit needed some TLC otherwise very nice accommodations. Worked great for 3 couples, we were quite comfortable.

Perfect as always at Island Vista!

We’ve been staying at Island Vista for years now. Once we first found Island Vista, there’s simply no other location in Myrtle Beach that will do for us. The staff is friendly and genuinely helpful. I’ve seen several staff members that have worked at Island Vista since our very first stay here years ago. This tells me it’s a great place to work for if these people are choosing to continue to work here for so many years. We love how secure and safe we feel here as well, with security doing their rounds regularly and checking peoples arm bands at the pools. Great location and beautiful building. Now speaking of this property specifically, we were very pleased at how clean the property was upon arrival. Everything was very neat and smelled very clean. We loved the layout of the property as our family of 6 had lots of room to spread out. Two big closets were a huge plus! Property management was very responsive and kind. Would def. stay here again!

Lacking

It was fine for our needs but was advertised as luxury and definitely isn’t luxurious. Updates to the unit are needed. We were stocked with just a small amount of dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towel, toilet paper which didn’t last for the amount of time we stayed. This wasn’t communicated before our stay and we weren’t prepared. Not good to run out of toilet paper in the middle of the night.

The property amenities (restaurant, bar, pool, proximity to beach, were all perfect. The bonus is, dealing with the Property Management company is easy (our third time using them). Great location

This was the perfect place for my quick family trip. Great size for 6 adults and 1 child. Perfect location right in the beach, great views. Property had ton of stuff to do. Great location in the city also. I would definitely stay again.

Great Girls Trip Getaway!

The amenities really sell this property. There was plenty of space with three bedroom and three baths for everyone in our party to have the privacy they wanted and the space needed. Having a restaurant on property was great in the food. Was delicious. Having two pools and a hot tub outside. Just steps away from the beach was fantastic. The tiki bar had delicious drinks but could be deemed a bit pricey, but expected when on vacation. The indoor facility with a small, lazy river, hot tub and shallow pools is perfect for families. I would definitely recommend for any future family holidays.

Beautiful place

We had a wonderful time. This place is very nice. It is starting to show its age. But view and location can not be beat. Really my only disappointment with the whole place is the washer and dryer. One major plus for me is an in unit set. You don’t have to pack as much because you can just wash what you have. If you put more than 6 items in the washer it made a scrapping noise. It then took 6 1 hour cycles in the dryer to even start to get them dry. I called and they sent a maintenance man who told me “you’re not paying the light bill so run it until they get dry”. I didn’t want to spend my entire vacation drying clothes but it does seem like I did. With 5 adults and 2 children, there was a lot. View is beautiful. Beach is close. Pools are really nice. We would definitely stay here again. Maybe not this particular unit, but definitely the resort.

Loved it!

I would 100% come back!! The view is amazing, and that area is not overcrowded with so much private property surrounding it. Close to everything. Steps to the beach! The only update needed is the dryer had to run it multiple multiple times to dry clothes. I did not reach out to have it looked int. Very clean.
