Napili Gardens is nestled just south of Kapalua Resort in a small beach town that still feels and looks like a throwback to the 60's when it still held the quiet charm of Maui long ago before the seige of high rise resorts took over the oceanfront landscape that you'll find 15 mins. further south in Kaanapali. We are directly across the street from the pristine aqua blue waters of Napili Bay Beach where you can enjoy numerous activities such as snorkeling,swimming, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, or simply soaking up some rays on the beach. You are only steps away from a lovely restaurant on one end of the bay call the Seahouse, which offers spectacular island cusine and authentic Hawaiian live entertainment. Our family dines here often and we're never disappointed. The food is great, the staff have been there for eons and the view..well there is just nothing like Napili Bay. Especially at won't want to miss it. Also, we highly recommend the mouth-watering macadamia nut pancakes at The Gazebo Restaurant located in the Napili Shores Resort just on the opposite end of Napili bay.

We are within walking distanced to the Kapalua Resort area where you can take advantage of 23 tennis courts, 2 championship golf courses, Kapalua Bay Beach, scenic hiking trails, and the Kapalua Adventure Center where you can ZIPLINE, which is one of the newest sensational island experiences on the west side. Kapalua also offers amazing dining experiences with restaurants such as Merriman's Kapalua, The Pineapple Grill, the Plantation House, Sansei Sushi & Seafood, and Banyan Tree at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua.

When you're ready to explore the island you'll find that we are within close proximity to all of the favorite island activities. Lahaina Towne, the #1 tourist destination on Maui, is just a 20 min. ride south of us. You'll find this charming historical town full of fabulous restaurants, boutiques, gift shops, first class art galleries and jewelry stores. The close proximity of Lahaina Marina makes it easy to take advantage of the many wonderful water sports and boating excurisions that Maui has to offer. Parasailing, snorkel trips, whale watches, sunset dinner cruises..the list is endless.

After you've had a chance to go exploring, you'll look forward to returning home to relax and unwind in the quiet and spacious comfort at Napili Gardens. Our complex is small with only 17 units, so you won't be surrounded by too many visitors. Napili Gardens features townhomes with private backyards and one of the only places where you have your own personal gas barbeque grill and 2-car garage with washer & dryer...feels more like a private single family home. No parking hassles..simply walk to the beach. It's ideal for those traveling with family who can appreciate the extra space and convenience that comes with having a third bathroom!

You'll find two TV's, DVD/VHS, and CD player along with all the standard amenities of home. Central AC is outfitted throughout the house in addition to ceiling fans. We've provided many beach toys that are kept in the garage where you'll also find the full size washer and dryer. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a NEW KING SIZE bed, sitting area and master bath along with the two guest bedrooms and additional full bath. Downstairs is the half bath just off of the dining room and the queen sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate up to 8 people very comfortably.

pros and cons

On one hand, it's directly across the street from the best beach. It's spacious and has a two car garage. On the other, we were never given entry instructions so we sent a message on the homeaway app and got no response. We found a number and got ahold of someone but we had to call twice since the first time we were given the wrong code. We showed up an hour after check in and the cleaning person was still there. One of the beds had no bedspread, just a sheet. We found cockroaches everywhere from inside the coffee pot to inside bathroom drawers.

If location enough to make you overlook the cockroach issue and the lack of attention to detail and professionalism, then this is the place for you.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback, Dara. We're very sorry encountered a few issues during your stay. That is certainly not our expectations for our guests. By email, we do send out the Kaba code for the entry prior to every guest's arrival, but it appears you didn't receive this paperwork. We apologize. Regularly, the property and this condo are treated for pest control. We had not been made aware that there was any issues with cockroaches in this condo. We have been to make sure an immediate inspection/treatment was done. As well, it goes without saying that each of our guests should have clean sheets during their stay. We will reach out to our cleaning service to make sure it doesn't happen again. It's our hope that every guest who stays at our Hawaiian home has a tremendous stay. We're sorry to have fallen short in your case. Please give us an opportunity to make it up to you in the future. We appreciate you being our guest. Mahalo.

Absolutely Amazing!

Perfect condo for my families first time in Maui. My family stayed here for a week and the condo exceeded expectations.There were 8 of us staying in the condo and we were all very comfortable. Walking distance to Napili Beach and multiple restaurants. This condo is a great value for the location and amenities. We can not wait to visit again.

Nice place

The house was nice and perfect in size for our family of 5. However there were a lot of bugs in the kitchen that appeared from the minute we arrived. We were very careful to keep food sealed and put away and to clean up after ourselves. We were also a little disappointed in the lack of basics in the house like shampoo and laundry detergent. We bought these items and others at a local store but we could not take them home so we left them behind for the next guest. Even hotel rooms provide small bottles of shampoo. The house was clean when we arrived and comfortable for our stay. We didn’t feel crowded and everyone had their own bed. We enjoyed the convenience of the location in relation to the beach. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach rather than having to drive and find parking. Overall we were happy with our stay and would recommend this to others.

Perfect Location

My family stayed here and the condo exceeded expectations. My husband and I were aware of the area and booked it due to close proximity to Napili and Kapalua bays and it didn’t disappoint. We were easily able to walk to snorkel and swim, and enjoyed multiple restaurants in walking distance, snorkel shop across the street, and plenty of room in the condo with protected parking. The windows did make the master a little noisy due to proximity to the street, but it was worth it. For light sleepers I would recommend earplugs due to street noise and roosters that pretty much live everywhere on Maui.

Location, Location, Location

This location was fantastic. Just minutes to walk to one of the best beaches on Maui. The condo worked great for us (6 adults). It was well equipped and the location was great.

Exellent location and value for this unit on Napili Bay. Sea House and Merriman's Restaurants (Best on Maui) are walking distance from the unit. Turtle viewing on Kapula Bay (by Merriman's) and on Napili Point are also walking distance. Super close to Kaanapali and Lahina. We staying with 6 adults and cooked in also. Excellent maintenance and all necessary items to make this a GREAT unit for a family vacation.
