Great pet friendly rental

The house had everything we needed so it was easy with kids and a large dog. Convenient location, a lot of restaurants and activities close by. House was clean and owner was incredibly accessible. Thank you!

Great affordable choice!

The house was really clean with a really big outdoor space, and great convenient location. The house is a bit older, but very reasonably priced and exceeded our expectations. The property manager was very accommodating to our needs and schedule!

Perfect Cape Experience

This was a wonderful play to stay for our first time at the Cape. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. Location was great, a short drive from the beaches, restaurants, stores, bike rental and path Julie was an excellent host --welcoming, informative, and always available. She wanted us to have a good time and we did.

Our stay was good, not great. House needs some fixes. We felt that having to launder the linens we used was an inappropriate expectation. We could have paid for a private laundering service, however, this service should be included in the price we paid. We have used VRBO before and never encountered this.

Exceptional 4th of July Week

Excellent stay at Julie's cottage on the Cape in Eastham. The house is super close to the rail trail and comes with bikes (in various conditions) that were essential to biking to all the beaches. The games in the basement were excellent and the deck was used extensively. There isn't A/C in every bedroom so plan accordingly for hot summer days. Also, keep pets out of the basement so they don't get into mouse traps!

Perfect for our family

My family of four (including a 9 and 7 year old) stayed here for a week. The house was perfect for us. The games in the basement were great, and the volleyball net in the backyard was a fun touch. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathrooms had everything we needed. The location was perfect for all of our activities. Would definitely stay at Orchard Breeze again!

Location

Location, location, location, it’s what you look for when you buy and when you rent. Summer Breeze is perfect for access to the national seashore beaches. Pet friendly home that has everything you need. And if you forgot something Cumberland farms is open 24hr and just down the road.

Renting was easy and the property was as expected. Kids had fun with the basement games and rode the bike paths that were close to the house!

Quaint, comfortable Cape Cod vacation

Fantastic Place to stay for our family!

We come back to Orchard Breeze every year for our family vacation at the Cape. The layout of the house is perfect - it's clean and well maintained, and our dog loves it too. Julie is a great host and property manager - always responsive - and we feel right at home as soon as we pull into the driveway. The deck is a great place to relax in the morning, or during an after beach BBQ. The location can't be beat - just a minute or two to the bike path, and the ocean beaches are 5 minutes by car or a 15 minute bike ride. The bay beaches are a 10-15 minute drive, and Rt. 6 is right around the corner, with Dunkin Donuts, Arnolds (great dinner), and The Fairway (great breakfast) within minutes as well. We highly recommend Orchard Breeze as a wonderful place to stay at the Cape!

Lovely cozy home

Lovely cozy home with beautiful, landscaped yard and very private setting. Great for dog walks too. We enjoy the close proximity to the bay beaches, Ben and Jerry's of course, as well as all the other great things nearby, lobster rolls and sunsets! We love to come back to this cottage every year as it is a home away from home for us now.

Great place to stay

Orchard Breeze is a cozy and comfortable vacation house in a great location. Our dogs were welcome, and they loved their vacation as much as we did! Nauset Light and Coast Guard beaches are minutes away, as are the bayside beaches like First Encounter. The house is very clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds and furniture. The owners have put a lot of thought into ensuring that you have everything you need. Although it was too chilly while we were there in October to use the deck, it looked like it would be great on a warm day. The setting is private, despite it being close to the post office, gas station, deli, etc. on Brackett Road. There are many good restaurants less than 10 minutes away. We loved our time at Orchard Breeze, and highly recommend it!

Cape Cod + Orchard Breeze -- our happy place

We have been vacationing in Cape Cod for several years – it is our happy place. Orchard Breeze has become part of that. It provides cozy, comfortable accommodations with all the amenities that you need. The owners are wonderfully responsive. When we mentioned that we didn’t have an iron or ironing board, within the 2-day shipping window from Amazon they appeared at our door. Our stay this year confirmed for us just how great the location of Orchard Breeze in Eastham really is. Going hiking at Pilgrim Springs or Beech Forest trail in Truro is as easy as a walk at Fort Hill in Eastham or wading at Rock Harbor in Orleans. We are really pleased to be regulars at Orchard Breeze.

Highly recommend this wonderful home

Orchard Breeze was perfect for our off season Cape Cod outing. It's full of Cape Cod charm and immaculately kept. The home has a warm and comfortable feel which encourages relaxation and a good time. Even tho the square footage is small, it accomodated 6 of us well. Thoughtful and thorough attention to detail describe this wonderful home. The kitchen is well supplied with plenty of plates, utensils, pots and pans. Everything's in good working order. The large deck and backyard and full basement expand the space nicely. The grill worked great. The reason this property is great is owner Julie. She consistently responded promptly to emails prior to our visit. She maintains a very helpful list of restaurants and activities. We'd flown from Seattle the day of our arrival and were tired when he arrived and there was a welcome treat on the kitchen table from Summer Breeze Properties to welcome us--much appreciated. Our only disappointment was we missed the opening of Arnolds (so close by) by on day--go there if you're there in season! Orchard Breeze will help make your vacation great.

Orchard Breeze the Perfect House in a Perfect Location We live in Florida and have been going to the Cape in the fall for the past 8 years to get away from the never ending summer heat and we always rented in Wellfleet or North Truro. Every rental that we have had always lacked one thing or another. It could be that the cleanliness was not up to our expectations to having antiquated cookware to having lousy TV. And we spent a lot of wasted time driving up and down Route 6 to get back to our rental. After looking at the photographs and reviews for The Sea Breeze we opted to rent it for our two week stay this November. In the meantime our 47th wedding anniversary was approaching and since we had not been to the Cape in May since 1970 my wife and I decided to go to the Cape and stay at The Orchard Breeze hoping that the reviews were accurate. And yes they were. This cottage is cute, comfortable, nicely furnished and cozy and is in the perfect location. It is close to the Fairways Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, and Ben and Jerry’s. The Stop & Shop for all food shopping is only 10 minutes or so away. Route 6 is a minute away and you can get around to the rest of the Cape very easily. And having three High Definition TV’s isn’t too shabby either. My wife and I really enjoyed staying at The Orchard Breeze and we know all who stay here will say the same.

Julie and Dave first came to the Cape in 2003 when they rented a vacation home with their family. They loved the ocean and walking on the bayside beaches, biking on quiet roads and scenic beauty, and frequently stayed at a local campground. In 2009, they founded Summer Breeze Cape Cod vacation rentals, which offers five private homes for rent in Eastham. Julie is a nurse, and Dave is a physical therapist. They are both serial renovators, performing much of the work themselves, along with Dave's parents. Their daughter, Michaela, is in middle school, and helps with projects as well. They live in southern New Hampshire, with their German Shepard and two feline siblings.
