The cozy living room is the perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. An open floor plan with plenty of light and a big, beautiful kitchen will make you feel right at home. Each bedroom has a quiet split A/C and ceiling fan for your comfort. With one king, one queen, and 2 twin beds, there's plenty of space for 6 guests to have a restful sleep. The full bathroom has a beachy spa -like vibe and lots of storage. The apartment has a private entrance at the back of the property, including a cozy shaded yard with patio for grilling and eating your meals in the fresh air. Whether lounging in the cute apartment, cooking in the big kitchen, getting fresh air in the backyard or taking the sort walk across the street to the beach, there is so much to adore about this sweet vacation 'home'!

Centrally located on the island, it is about 25 min to the Airport, 35-40 min to downtown Honolulu beaches or 35-40 min to the North Shore depending on traffic. There is so much to see and do on the island of Oahu if you want to explore and see it all but you don’t have to go far to sit on a pretty private beach. Just steps away from this property you can swim, snorkel, catch waves or beach comb. Summer swells bring life to our own historic Ohau surf spot “Empty Lots”.

Ewa Beach has its own charm with some shopping and restaurants and Wai Kai the new surf park resort . It is only 15 minute drive to Kapolei for Costco, malls, variety of restaurants, movie theaters and more. Only 20 minutes to the Ko Olina Resorts, Disney Resort, and Lagoons.


We look forward to welcoming you to our place. We live in the front unit of the property and take pride in ownership and hope to make your stay a wonderful experience. There are a total of 3 units on the lot, including ours which provides security and convenience to assist our guests. Each unit has its own entrance, laundry room, yard and patio or deck for peace and privacy.

The Ewa Beach property was the perfect space for our family of six. The beach access was perfect and our boys loved being able to just take a walk across the street to the beach. The air conditioning was amazing, which was great after being out all day, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host offered everything that could be desired for the beach (surfboards, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, towels, chairs, etc.) The kitchen was the most well-equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental property. Check-in was easy, as was finding the location. Parking was great as well. There were several grocery stores a few minutes away, and Costco was about 20 minutes away. We could not have been happier with our stay, and would gladly return!

Sweet Hawaiian Getaway

This is the most well-supplied vacation rental we've ever stayed in. It has everything you need to spend the day (games, TV, great WiFi) at home or for a day at the beach with kids (beach chairs, towels, sand toys). The beautiful, open kitchen was easy to cook in and keep clean. Not to mention, the beds were ridiculously comfortable. We are a family of 5, and all slept well every night. Ewa Beach is right across the street once you find the public access alley (the hosts were super helpful and responsive). There's a different beach park just a few minutes away by car or a 15-minute walk. Laid back neighborhood.

We would absolutely stay here again!The location is perfect, tucked away in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across from a peaceful, secluded beach. The unit is stocked with all the beach gear you'll need for a fun day by or on the water, making it incredibly convenient. It's extremely family-friendly!Inside, the space is spotless and well-equipped with everything you need to cook any meal. The beds are super comfortable, and having a separate AC unit in each room was a game-changer during the hot days. Not to mention the fully stocked children's toys cabinet, which was a great bonus!The location is ideal for exploring the island – centrally located and easy to get to all the must-see spots.The hosts were exceptional! Communication was spot-on, and the welcome tour provided all the info we needed for a seamless stay.We can't recommend this property enough for anyone looking to experience the best of Hawaii. Best family home rental in Oahu

Where do I even begin.. Sara and David are FANTASTIC hosts. The communication was top notch, they are very friendly, understanding, welcoming and kind. Their home was easy to find and easy to access. On top of having a beautiful home, I’ve never in any of my stays been in a home so equipped/ prepared. From snorkeling gear, to books in every room, toys, beach towels.. the list goes on. They have everything you can possibly imagine needing. They were extremely kind to my children, even letting them play with their dogs. They even helped accommodate us when missing our flight!!! Please look no further. They made our family vacation a breeze. You will not regret your stay in their home. Wishing these generous hosts the best of luck and hope to return one day!

We had a fantastic time here. The house provided everything we could have needed. Having such a large kitchen was a plus. It was also stocked with soo many appliances and kitchen tools. My handsome husband (David) and I (Sara) have been married for 4 decades, have 7 amazing adult children and 16 darling grandchildren and we love living in Hawaii!

My husband, David, retired from the Air Force and started his own company where his goal is to help families and organizations with communication, self-awareness, maturity, and resilience. He is often training for 1/2 Ironman races, volunteers coaching teens, and is very active and busy with work, service, travel, and fitness.

I love spending time with my family but we don't have any living on island anymore so local friends and staying active keeps us busy and healthy. I love to be outdoors, snorkeling, boating, paddle boarding etc. and I enjoy watercolor painting, my dogs, and am focused on strength training and being a team with my husband on our goals and mission in life.

I don't know what to say when people ask where we came from since we are not true Hawaiians. But after 27 years moving around because of the Air Force, home is where we make it and Hawaii is our home of choice.

In order to make our dream to buy a home in Hawaii come true, we knew we needed to find a home with a rental unit in order to afford the big mortgage and high cost of living on island. We bought this big fixer-upper home across the street from the ocean because we saw the potential and knew it would be great for us and our guests or tenants. We are excited to share our lovely home and the beauty of this wonderful island with others.

Why they chose this property

We love the location, I mean how could it get much better than being steps away from the ocean but not have to worry about flooding, parking or crowds? The neighborhood beach is never packed and we have great surfing conditions in the summer right by our house and year round amazing weather. Ewa Beach is pretty central to the airport, north shore and close to nice restaurants, malls, lagoons and resorts.

What makes this property unique

Besides the location, and this sweet unit, the biggest thing is the love we have for this home and this island. We are not rich investor or group with multiple rental units that live across the world and out of touch with the community or guests. We actually live in the front unit/house and therefore care deeply about the neighborhood, safety and comfort of those who stay here. We take pride in the maintenance of our property since it is our only home. I believe that because we live here and love Hawaii, that we have a pretty good idea of what our guests might like to make their vacation stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We personally did lots of labor and poured our time, sweat and life savings into remodeling and updating the property. We actually lived in the vacation rental apartment for 2 years while we slowly built our front unit so we have paid attention to detail and worked hard to make it lovely, safe, and comfortable.
