Beautiful Place!! Excellent location

Nelly was lovely to deal with. The condo is incredibly spacious and all the beds are very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay. We all enjoyed the pool the ocean.

Perfect in every way

Words cannot describe the exceptional experience we had during our week long stay. The location of this condo along with the amenities offered by the resort, made the trip extremely enjoyable and far exceeded our expectations.

Great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent facilities, thoughtfully stocked condo (cooler, floaties, thermos, etc). Nadia kept the place super clean. There were 8 of us and the space was the perfect size.

Second Stay - Will be back for a Third!!

My family loves this place. We stayed here last year and will make the trip again next year. Its beautiful, secure, private location. Its a quiet, nice relaxing location, but you can go next door to the resort and use their amenities - pools with swim up bars, party events, water park, etc.

Great experience

The condo is spacious, very comfortable and clean. A very nice feature is having a person come in on an almost daily basis to clean and do wash; very nice amenity. The air conditioning worked great and we were comfortable in every room. Also, having easy access (by paying a fee) to the resort next door is a great amenity. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again in the future.

Family Vacation

The condo itself was very clean on our arrival. Nadia the cleaner is very good and showed up every day. Nelly is very attentive to our needs from the very beginning. The resort next door that we had access to was wonderful but very busy during spring break. I would tell you this overall would be a great place if you are looking.

Great for groups

The property was very clean, and the description and photos were accurate. There were 8 of us - 6 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old and at no point did we feel like we were in a crowded space. Having our own bathrooms was great. The rooms are spacious and far enough apart that no one else heard a crying baby at night! The pools were quiet and clean. The staff all around the property are so friendly and helpful and it felt very safe. Thank you for the wonderful week!

Bless during covid

This condo is excellent. Very large and suitable for large groups. The cleanliness is impeccable, the staff very courteous and friendly. Nelly is very efficient and her courtesy and kindness are excellent. We had a relaxing time even during this period. Every morning just to watch the sunrise on the private beach it was very calming. We recommend this place and acquire the Vindata membership a resort next door which is just exceptional.

Overall very impressed with accomodations and ambiance Unfortunately 9 of our 11 people could not arrive due to travel restrictions but Nelly was very co operative in getting us rebates We did not learn there were tennis courts in complex until day we left, Finding property was difficult and directionssuch as go left off main highway down Nayarit Blvd; over bridge and trun left at OXXO would to help you find the place by car

As Advertised!

Beautiful place next to a fabulous resort. The pictures are mostly accurate. The only downside is that the pictures don’t reveal the “inadequacy” of the 4th bedroom (as compared to the others). We had 4 adult couples and 1 couple felt a little “shorted” having to stay in the 4th bedroom which is MUCH smaller with no view or even any windows. The shower doors in that room were also broken and the couple bought a shower curtain so that they didn’t shower the entire bathroom as they were trying to bathe. Aside from this, everything was as pictured and overall very nice.

Nuevo Vallarta Luxury Condo

Our stay at Mayan Island Edzna Tower was absolutely fantastic. Nelly's packet of information was very accurate. Nelly was always prompt with her responses whenever we reached out. We made arrangements with her drivers to/from the airport and it was seamless. We took advantage of having a meal prepared for us by Nora, someone Nelly recommended. It was a delicious meal! Best shrimp and guac ever! I would just add make sure that Nora knows which property you are at. The staff at Mayan Islands is very friendly and accommodating. We felt very safe during our stay on the property. The neighborhood we were in felt safe as well. Everyone had an enjoyable time while we were there! If we go back to Mexico, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything, Nelly!

A WOW VACATION !! FANTASTIC ALL THE WAY EVERYONE LOVED IT A++

The location is a WOW factor ocean front facing loved listening to the waves at night slept like a baby. Comfort + amenities of this unit exceeded our expectations. Quiet area safe and such nice people inside the complex and walking around visiting all the local establishments ( Food & Service A++) The Grand Mayan is a must see right next door is such a bonus. To have access to that area is huge. Great food and pools for everyone of all ages. A big Thank You to the manager NELLY who is one very nice person and professional. Nelly communicated with us on everything. Honest and extremely detailed she really made it so easy for all of us and we all thank her for making the vacation spectacular. "Thanks Nelly" We will be back and will tell our friends and family how much we had. 12/23/18

Family Togetherness

This property is amazing! Our unit was just right for all of us. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable . Lovely closet space and bathrooms! We were 6 adults a 3 year old and an 8 year old. The pools were so lovely and we spent a great time there. We would pick a couple of tables and all of a sudden we were set up with umbrellas and beach towels! There is a poolside bar and sandwich / snack shop which pleased everyone!! We did get passes for the resort next door. They had a lot of fun things to do. As the Grandmother of the group I loved the quiet by the pool! I hadn’t been that relaxed in so long and it was great! I also liked the beach and floating on the waves. And, of course, playing in the sand with everyone! All in all a wonderful vacation for me and my family! 💜

This place is amazing!

This place is amazing and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway! We enjoyed our stay so much we've already shared the rental information with several of our friends. The condo is in safe location and next door to the Vidanta Grand Mayan Resort. The condo was the perfect size for our party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children). The condo was very clean and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. Nelly is an amazing host; she answered every question we could possibly think of before we arrived and even checked in with us once we arrived to ensure everything was as we expected. Nelly helped us arrange airport transportation and made sure the front desk knew when we were coming; check in took less than 5 minutes! Nadia is a fantastic housekeeper and we even talked her into making us lunch one day. There are great restaurants next door at the Vidanta but we’d suggest you adventure off property. Nelly gave us a list of restaurants within in walking distance and they did not disappoint. Overall, we had an amazing vacation and we’re already looking at our calendar so we can go back!

10/10 Stay!

Highly recommend this property! Our group really enjoyed staying at this condo building in Nuevo Vallarta for many reasons including: beautiful and large private pool, close and convenient access to the beach, not overly crowded and we never had a problem finding pool chairs for our group, onsite snack and beverage bar was perfect for lite meals/snacks and reasonably priced cocktails and beers. We could also bring our own food and drink to the pool with no problem at all. The bracelets to the Vidanta property were a plus too. That said, Vidanta property was much busier and finding spots by the pools was challenging if you didn't get there early in the morning to save spots. The kids (12-14 yrs old) did enjoy the lazy river and water slide at Vidanta. The condo was only a 5-10 minute walk to many restaurants off site at the marina and we went out most nights and enjoyed Eddie's, Barracuda, Organi-K, and Mediterraneo. Nelly was very responsive and fantastic to work with. We will be back and would work with Nelly again. Thank you.

Scenic, great location, clean and comfortable!

This is probably the cleanest property we’ve ever rented. Also one of the most scenic. The balcony was lovely- great sunset views. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of seating in the living area. Two of the bedrooms are very spacious, the third is nice for a couple, and the fourth is smaller with no window, a great kids room maybe? We appreciated that all of the rooms had a private bathroom- a real luxury. Nelly, the property manager, was always quick to respond to my emails or text questions. When there was a mix-up getting our bracelets at Vidanta, she spoke by phone with the concierge there, as well as with me to resolve the issue. (Note: bring ID and a small extra fee to pick up the Vidanta bracelets. Definitely worthwhile). The staff who work at Mayan Island clearly have guest safety in mind. There is a gate to enter the grounds and an attendant at the building entrance, who kindly called taxis for our excursions. That said, we walked all over the neighborhood, to restaurants, the nearby farmers market, and convenience stores and we felt as safe as we do in any city/ town. We booked the airport transfer through Nelly, with 6 adults and golf and scuba gear, a pre-arranged van was a real help. The condo pool area was relaxing and we never had a problem getting chairs or umbrellas, appreciated the snack/bar too. We would happily stay here again! An all-around great experience!

You won't be disappointed! Wonderful property and holiday!

Everything about this lovely property was exactly as represented in the photographs and prior guest reviews. We were a group of 9 - mum, dad and 7 adult children/partners. The condo is spacious and well laid out and well stocked. Property staff are incredibly friendly. The resort property itself, Mayan Island Condominiums is quiet and in close proximity to the busy Grand Mayan resort. Spend the extra $$ to get the bracelets for your group as the work out facilities and numerous pools are superb. The little pool bar at our condo complex was good value, however it's easy to bring food and drink down to the pool/beach area. One caution on transportation - many cab and Uber drivers coming from PV don't know where the Mayan Island Condominium property is, even when provided with the exact address. Some of our group were taken to the Grand Mayan upon arrival. Once you're in Nuevo Vallarta you will have no problems as there is a taxi stand just down the road and/or staff will call you a cab to the door step. This complex is on the side of NV closest to PV. There are a few restaurants in the neighborhood and on the 'north' side of the marina that I would categorize as just OK; if you're a foodie do some research and have a plan to get into Vallarta or Bucerias during your stay. After putting up some initial resistance to Fajita Republic, our group finally went. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed it! We would like to thank Nadia the house keeper for her help and sweet disposition. Nelly the property manager is very helpful and responds immediately to requests. Do not hesitate to book this lovely, secure and hassle free condo for your next vacation.

Amazing Condo, amazing support

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed, considering the whole experience. Nelly (the property manager) was great to work with. We had a lot of specific requests and questions to make sure the property was legitimate, and that it had access to the Grand Mayan. We were nervous since it was a new property with no reviews. Nelly was great at answering our question before hand and working through some kinks once we got there. We had a big group (4 adults and six kids) and the property fit us well. The views from the balcony and two master suites were amazing. It's well furnished and well decorated, and definitely has the feel of a luxury condo. The thing that really exceeded expectations was the pool and beach area. There were plenty of available loungers on the beach or the pool any time of day, and it was extremely uncrowded. At times it felt like we had the place to ourselves. It got a little busier on the weekend, but we never had to wait for a spot to open up. The only complaint in this area is that the property is only allocated 6 beach towels per day, so with 10 of us, we were short a few towels. The access to the Grand Mayan was very easy, but in my opinion the Grand Mayan is extremely overcrowded, and it was very difficult to get a beach chair or poolside chair there. Lines were long for the lazy river. We found the property in front of the condo to be much nicer and spent almost all of our time there. The Grand Mayan is a very nice property, and it was nice to have access to the restaurants, spa, etc., but as far as pool and beach, the condo is a much better option. We discovered on our last day that they have a segway delivery service for food from some of the restaurants, and wish we'd taken more advantage of that. Lastly, the housekeeper, Nadia, was outstanding. For a small fee, she cooked a couple meals for us, helped us with our laundry, got some groceries for us, and honestly became a really good friend. (side note, while the description says there is a washer and dryer, you don't have access to it, Nadia has to wash your clothes). Overall I'd strongly recommend staying here, it is an outstanding property.

Nicer than the photos!

My husband and I, 2 adult brothers (all in our 50’s) and senior mother stayed 2 weeks in this beautiful condo right on the beach in Nuevo Vallarta. It’s every bit as beautiful as the photos. The bedrooms are far enough apart from each other and each has it’s own adjoining bath and walkin closet that everyone had lots of privacy and space. We prearranged with Nelly to use Mel’s airport transfer service to and from the airport giving us one less thing to have to worry about as he knew exactly where we were going even though we didn’t. We also took advantage of the access to the Grand Mayan next door for a nominal fee. If travelling with kids I would definitely recommend as they have several great pools, a lazy river and great splash pads for the kids. We did eat at the beachside restaurant a few times for lunch and the food was very good so at the end of the day for the price it was nice to have the option to go next door to one of the restaurants or use any of their facilities. The condo has everything that you will need. The kitchen is very well stocked and there wasn’t anything that we felt was missing. We ate breakfast in the condo every day and most days one of us ran up (elevator) to throw together a lunch for the group which we enjoyed poolside. We prepared dinner in the condo every 2nd evening and ventured out the other nights. There’s at least a half dozen restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk at the marina that are reasonably priced or we jumped into a cab and ventured a little further to try some of the other recommended restaurants in the area. People were so friendly and more than happy to make recommendations. We found the condo and grounds to be very quiet as well as immaculate. Most days there were only a handful of people at the pools so never a problem getting a lounge chair or umbrella. The security is also very tight. If anybody ventures onto the property from the beach the security is quick to make sure that they belong and if they don’t they are sent on their way. We started and ended every day on the large balcony looking out at the ocean. Even saw a whale in the bay one evening! Nadia, the housekeeper came everyday except Sundays and she kept the condo meticulous. She is such a nice lady. This is a fantastic condo and a great location and property and anybody who books it will not be disappointed. Nelly is great to work with and quick to respond. We would definitely stay in this condo again.
