Unwind and unplug in this spacious two level Villa with ocean views from both levels. Everything in this home speaks quiet luxury from the private plunge pool overlooking the ocean, the marble tiled floors and granite counters to the bedding and towels. Whether you are looking for family fun, a quiet place to free yourself from stress or a bit of both, this is your place!

In addition to the Villa itself, Condominio Punta Esmeralda offers a secluded beach along with 8 Venetian-tiled infinity pools which are all part of the common area available for guests to use as well as an on-site Spa, gym, tennis courts, Beach Club and restaurant.

Villa Paraiso is conveniently located between Bucerias and La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and only 40 minutes away from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport. Many great local restaurants and bars are minutes away in La Cruz and Bucerias or venture closer into town for even more options. See our electronic guidebook for our recommendations. Taxis and Uber are easily available from the Punta Esmeralda main entrance.


Your hosts (Celia, Tito and Matthew) are based out of Texas and California and easily reached through the shared email (sales@villaparaiso2.com). We work with a fantastically organized lady (Sally) who is based out of Bucerias, Nayarit MX and our "on-site" guest experience manager.

Celia or Tito will handle quotes, booking, and other reservation or property questions, and Sally will be local to make sure you have a 5-star experience from your arrival/check-in, through your stay and at departure/check-out. She will also be your contact with any maintenance issues, local recommendations or anything else you may need to make sure you want to come stay with us again!

Nestled in the stunning and secure Punta Esmeralda community, Villa Paraiso is steps away from your choice of 8 Venetian-tiled swimming pools and a gorgeous private Beach Club situated along the beachfront of the Bay of Banderas.

Just 3 km further up the coast is the town of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle Riviera Nayarit. La Cruz, an authentic Mexican fishing village for generations, is now modernizing with the construction of the Riviera Nayarit Marina - the largest and most modern in the area. Head to the Marina for deep sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, dinner and drinks at the Sky Bar or simply exploring the Sunday market at the pier.

Further up the coast, check out the surfing in Sayulita and the quaint town of San Pancho which is considered the cultural capitol of Riviera Nayarit and famous for their Huichol handicrafts.

Heading back towards Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta, spend the day at the Aquaventures water park and Dolphin Discovery park … only about 30 min away! Downtown Puerto Vallarta and Zona Romantica are an easy 45 minute drive or Uber/taxi ride.


Punta Esmeralda is a private community for owners and their guests only. Guests staying at Villa Paraiso 2 must be registered with Condominio Punta Esmeralda through the Host/Owner. No unregistered guests will be allowed past the security gate.


The Villa is 4430 square feet (411 square meters) on two levels. On the entry level is an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen that open up to an expansive terrace with a private plunge pool and spectacular ocean views. On this same level is also a generously sized bedroom and full bath. Downstairs are the remaining two bedrooms each with private en-suite bathrooms as well as ocean views making this place the perfect rental for two couples.

Villa Paraiso faces South/Southwest so you'll get to enjoy both stunning sunrises and colorful sunsets! In the morning, step out onto the terrace to enjoy the sunrise and cooling breezes from the Bay while you savor your morning coffee or tea. As the sun reaches mid-day, grab some sun on the lounge chairs before heading out to one of the other larger pools or the Beach Club. Then in the evening, regroup on the terrace to enjoy a beverage and snack while deciding where to go for diner..

When you are ready to reconnect to the world, join our WiFi network to catch up on a few emails or upload photos to make your social media followers jealous. In the living room, indulge by binging the next season of your favorite show. If you enjoy preparing a meal, the kitchen is also well equipped and there is a barbeque grill on the balcony; otherwise, you can have room service delivery from the on-site restaurant.

Downstairs with the bedrooms is also a covered outdoor patio with great ocean views and privacy for a place to retreat and relax with a good book and the soft ocean breeze as your only companions.


Villa Paraiso is about 40 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta International Airport and easily accessible by Taxi or Uber. We are also happy to arrange airport transportation for you at your request. Just let us know!

Taxi service and Uber is also available from the Punta Esmeralda entrance when you’re ready to go exploring for the day or just want to get into town for dinner. If you would like a hired car for the day to help you explore, just let us know and we can arrange something for you.

Please note that 2 of the 3 bedrooms at Villa Paraiso are down a set of stairs and there is no elevator or disability access ramp. In addition, the front door is located up a few steps with no ramp.
