The Space:

Donner Vistas is a spacious Tahoe Donner home designed for larger families and groups, with multiple living areas, mountain views, and plenty of room to gather or spread out. Surrounded by forest and mountains, the home offers easy access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golf, snowshoeing, and year-round Tahoe recreation.



The main living area brings together the kitchen, dining space, comfortable seating, and one of three stone fireplaces. Large windows provide views of the surrounding mountains, while the open layout keeps everyone connected during meals and time together.



The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas range and oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle, drip coffee maker, rice cooker, cookware, dinnerware, and the essentials for preparing larger group meals. The dining table seats up to eight, with additional seating at the breakfast bar, and a high chair is available for younger guests.



There are multiple living areas throughout the home, including a lower-level living room with a 65" TV, PlayStation 5, and foosball table. Three gas fireplaces provide cozy gathering spaces throughout the home, and acoustic guitars and an electric keyboard offer additional entertainment.



The home has four bedrooms and seven beds, including two primary suites with attached bathrooms. The upper-level primary suite features a king Sleep Number mattress, private fireplace, and a large ensuite bathroom with a two-person jetted tub, custom walk-in shower, and double vanity. The lower-level junior primary has a queen bed and attached full bathroom, while the additional queen bedroom and bunk room provide flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups.



The bunk room features both a twin-over-full bunk and a twin-over-twin bunk, providing four individual beds.



Outside, the home sits on a large lot surrounded by mature pines. Two expansive decks provide additional outdoor space, including a 5-burner Weber BBQ and cast-aluminum outdoor dining table.



The home also includes A/C in the upstairs and lower-level living areas, a tankless water heater, washer and dryer, two-car garage, driveway parking, and a standard 22V EV charger.



Guests also have access to Tahoe Donner community amenities, including the community hot tub, pools, fitness center with dry and wet saunas, private beach during summer months, and driving range. Community amenities are available for a fee with the appropriate guest pass.



The location puts you about 0.5 miles from Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, with easy access to Northstar, Palisades Tahoe, Sugar Bowl, Donner Lake, and historic downtown Truckee.



The home is allowed to host up to 10 guests plus up to 4 additional children under 13, for a total of up to 14 guests when those additional children are included.

Fresh towels, professionally prepared bedding, pressed sheets, and essential bathroom supplies are provided for every stay. Each shower includes spa quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Getting Around:

While we recommend having a vehicle to freely explore the beautiful Truckee area at your own pace, ride sharing services and taxis are available. The property offers free parking on the premises with space for up to four cars, including two in the garage and two in the driveway. Please note that street parking is not permitted. For those arriving by air, the Reno Tahoe International Airport is the primary hub, located approximately 45 minutes away by car.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

* Most of the Tahoe Donner amenities have a nominal fees, with guest pass, if you choose to use them. Trout Creek Rec Center is currently $30 per guest; infants 0-2 years old are free, kids 3-6 are $10.

* All vacation rentals have a max of 6 passes for 6 guests to use amenities at once. There are blackout dates on certain holidays and peak times - check with us for more details. 

* Air conditioning is 2 window units; one in the main living area and the second in the lower level living area. Bedrooms do not have their own A/C but we do have fans and you can leave doors open to help cool them off during the day.
