Was pleasantly surprised when we walked in view of the lake was beautiful out of the big living room windows. It was very quiet and peaceful. Would stay again.

The check-in process was a little cumbersome—you have to go to one location to pick up the keys to the unit, then wait in another line at Rumbling Bald to get a separate set of keys for access to the neighborhood and amenities. The lazy river is definitely smaller than it appears in the photos, but the amenities were still enjoyable. The property itself was clean overall, although we did notice some ants. The lemon air freshener was also a bit overwhelming for us. Despite those minor things, it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our visit.

Beautiful and peaceful location on Lake Lure. The golf courses were both spectacular. Our unit overlooked Bald Lake and the balconies were lovely for morning coffee and evening drinks. The unit we were in was below the car park level so we had to navigate 2 steep sets of steps (11 steps and 14 steps)--wasn't an issue for us but could be for those with mobility issues. Be aware of the limited availability of the check-in office (off-site) if you can't arrive between 8-12 or 1-5.

Room was clean and spacious but the check in orocess was a mess. They office to check in at wasnt on the resort property and the rental was suppose to include the amenities passes. The passes we never requested from our property manager so we ended up having to pay extra on top of us already paying for them. Would not recommend going thru this company again.
