Kitchen, Dining, Familly Room, Master Bedroom and another Queen Bedroom are all on the Main level. Driveway plus gravel parking area easily accommodates 4 vehicles.
Your stay at Dancing Waters Lodge includes use of Kayaks, 2 SUP boards canoe, and Floating Dock (Peddle Boat not available anymore)
Dancing Waters Lodge is a vintage lakefront home on Bald Mountain Lake, which is private and non-motorized. Great for fishing, swimming, kayaking.
Covered entry deck area has gas grill, seating and entrances into Kitchen and Screen Porch. Just two steps up from paved driveway.

Welcome to Dancing Waters Lodge, a spacious lakefront retreat located inside the gated Rumbling Bald community on Bald Mountain Lake. This peaceful private lake is non-motorized, making it ideal for swimming, bass fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
With 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and space for 10–12 guests, the home is perfect for family vacations, holiday gatherings, retreats, and golf weekends.
Step outside and enjoy the best of mountain lake living—two large decks, a screened porch, a private floating dock, and your own fleet of kayaks, SUP boards, and a canoe.

The pristine waters truly appear to dance as the sun sparkles on the surface. This home comfortably accommodated our large Christmas reunion with four families, including 5 children. Our guests LOVED the amenities of the home including large hot tub and dock on the lake fully equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, and safety jackets. The kitchen is large and well appointed allowing us to prepare and serve full course holiday meals. The Rumbling Bald resort is beautiful with great amenities including indoor pool. There are playgrounds in walking distance where our families enjoyed competitive games of "Home Run Derby." We enjoyed a trip to the Chimney Rock park which is now fully open for visitors. All our guests agreed, this was an awesome home and location for our Christmas 2025 Holiday!

Lovely Family Getaway

We have spent a long weekend at this property for the last two years. There are 11 of us (three couples and five kids). The house fits us perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked, and there's a nice long indoor table. The dock is lovely and the water is deep.

Great lake house get away

The Dancing Waters home was a great getaway lake house. Property managers were easily contacted and accessible and location was very nice. We enjoyed being in the smaller lake for swimming, paddle boating and fishing but right down the street from Lake Lure and the other amenities. Very clean and comfy rental.

Best family vacation ever!

Everything about Dancing Waters at Lake Lure was perfect - from the location to the amenities. We had 7 people staying there very comfortably, ranging in age from 16 to 79. There is so much to do right there (fishing, kayaking, canoeing, admiring the view), that everyone was satisfied. My mother-in-law remarked this was the best place she's stayed on vacation, and she has been everywhere and stayed in some truly excellent places. I highly recommend this property!

Great location for family fun

Loved this place! Had kids aged 5-10, parents, and grandparents. being part of Rumbling Bald was very convenient, having access to the pools, beach, restaurant (great pizza, btw) made the visit even more enjoyable. Family loved the paddleboards and kayaks, as well as fishing off the dock. Apple picking, waterfall hikes, and creameries all within 45min-1 hr, so plenty of activities to do. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked. Grocery is 20 min away but very nice and large. We would definitely come back!!!

Memorial Day week at Dancing Waters Lodge

We had a fantastic week at Dancing Waters Lodge. The home was spacious and well appointed. It was immaculately clean and was very well stocked for cooking and kitchen supplies. The lake was beautiful and very tranquil, quiet and peaceful. Weather was fantastic low 70’s low humidity, and generally a nice breeze. Our property managers were fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer week. We will be back.

It is clean, well-stocked and perfectly located inside Rumbling Bald Resort. Our kids love the outdoor pools and lazy river. Other amenities like the indoor pool, playground, spa, courts, putt-putt ($7) and golf courses are all within the resort. The Lake Lure beach was closed this year because of Helene damage but we enjoyed it last year when we visited. Our favorite thing is to do is play in the smaller Bald Mtn lake that’s right in the backyard! Canoes, paddle boards and kayaks are provided - we just brought floats. Sue is extremely easy to work with and the house has comfy beds, amazing decks and so much room for us all to play. Great house!!

Peaceful lake vacaction

We loved this lakefront vacation home. We were a group of 10, including 4 kids. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards and kayaks. Since there were no motorized vehicles in the water it felt like the safest waterfront vacation we've had. The kids played for hours while we sat on the deck or kayaked around near them, but we weren't worried about their safety (like we would be at the ocean)! It was amazing. The house was roomy and beautiful and had everything we could need. We saw a huge turtle in the water, lots of bats (yay!), a beaver and so many fish. This was such a peaceful and lovely vacation spot!

Beautiful home for a family reunion!

This 5 bedroom home seems like it has been recently renovated. Large kitchen, dining area and living area. 5 good sized bedrooms. Spacious deck overlooking Bald lake which is quieter than the nearby Lake Lure but you get passes to the Lake Lure amenities. The house has a fishing dock and the use of a couple of kayaks and a canoe. We used the house for a family reunion and we would rent it agin!

Just Beautiful

It was even more beautiful than described! The early mornings on the Lake was something I've only seen in movies! It truly is breath takingly beautiful! The whole family each had a comfortable sleeping area and plenty of restrooms to use! Surrounding areas had so much to do for whole family (Zip lining, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, golfing, to name a few) It was perfect for us all to come together and celebrate our 40th anniversary! Highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your place!
