We had a lovely stay at the Cedar Cottage a couple weekends ago. The location was ideal for our trip - we spent time in Glen Arbor, but also downtown Traverse City. We visited a nice little Polish food truck a few blocks away from the home one night for dinner and that was really fun and special. Ideally, we would've liked the floors to be a little cleaner as we have young children who spend a lot of time on the ground / we don't wear shoes in the house. But overall, it was an enjoyable stay!
I would have to disagree with previous reviews pertaining to the cleanliness. The house was updated beautifully. The tiki bar was a fun addition, especially for a bachelorette trip. You can walk right into the small town and grab a coffee. The host was very communicative, and even let us check in early to set up. The property is very reasonable compared to other listings in the Traverse City area. There isn’t central air, but we managed just fine with the window units. The home isn’t stocked with necessities, so just make sure you bring everything you need. I would definitely recommend!!
Quaint!!!! We had a great time. Walking distance to downtown Cedar. We got full usage out of the property. It's quiet and has small town charm. The owners are extremely responsive when we had a small issue and resolved it right away Due to weather, we used the Tiki Bar and played games. When the weather was good, we had bonfires. I hope to stay here again.
