The house was wonderfully spacious and comfortable. It is very clean and well maintained and the perfect distance from downtown Bar Harbor. It’s made the perfect place to stay with our family as we attended a wedding and then did some sightseeing during the week. We highly recommend this property and owners.

Great location just outside of Bar Harbor. Island Express shuttle stopped for us 1 block away! Immaculately clean, welcoming, comfortable beds. Had a minor issue with one of the beds, owner had it fixed before we returned that night! We saw several deer right outside the windows! We loved Acadia and can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful time with family celebrating my husbands 70th birthday!The house was perfect for 8 adults and a dog. It was well appointed, with very comfortable rooms great for hanging out and very close to Acadia Park and shopping. The property was lovely and very private I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house

Wonderful house in a great location! Convenient amenities (in kitchen and bathrooms) and easy coordination with manager for check-in. This was a great home base for adventures in both Bar Harbor and Acadia!

This property is in a nice location because it’s very quiet yet it is only a short drive into downtown Bar Harbor. It’s spacious and has lots of things in the house that are useful. Note, if you’re going during the warm months, this house does not have central air. It was mid to upper 80s while we stayed and it was hard to be comfortable in the house. They provide fans but it’s not enough. The communication with the host is very quick, even if his hands are tied and cannot help us.

This place was a wonderful home base for our family to explore all Acadia and Bar Harbor had to offer of the 4th of July holiday and week after. We are a family of 6 adults, 2 kids, and 1 dog. The house was extremely spacious, very clean, and comfortable for all of us. The kids especially enjoyed the activity room with toys and ping pong. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook as well as things needed to pack food to bring on hikes. Being able to do laundry was really nice as many of us had been traveling for a over a week. Bar Harbor was less than 5 minute drive or 10/15 minute walk and the all the major viewpoints and trailheads of Acadia were easily accessible a very short drive away. You really can't beat the location, it was so easy to access everything we wanted to see and do. The host was also communicative and quick to respond with any questions we had. Highly recommend this property, would definitely book again.

Very comfortable house for our extended family of 5 adults and 3 children. Excellent location - close to Acadia and Bar Harbor - making it a very convenient vacation location for our Acadia adventures. The house is very well equipped - kitchen, bathrooms, and fun playroom for the kids. All appliances are in good working condition & the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. They even provide coffee! I highly recommend this house for a comfortable stay & a convenient location while visiting Acadia & Bar Harbor. The only issue we had was that the downstairs bed was covered with dog hair, as was the carpet and the washer and dryer. Interestingly, the previous guest left a comment in the guest book saying how the house accommodated their dog. I would definitely stay here again but I would ask for more consideration in cleaning, especially considering the cleaning fee.

Everything smelled clean when we entered the house!!With all the bedrooms.. my family had their space to do whatever they needed too. Theresa came over to finalize some things.. I’m glad she did. She gave us some great information on restaurants to enjoy!!Thanks for everything!

There is only in TV in the home and trying to get logged into the tv for watching tv is a hassle so be prepared for that if trying to watch various shows or programming for the kids. The location is convenient. The kitchen is stocked well. The main floor bedroom is not a bedroom; it’s a converted room that’s off the main area so there is issue with noise and privacy since the sliding doors do not fully close The home does show some age. The carpet needs some love or changes out. We had issues with the master shower upon arrival and they were informed by the cleaning staff however it was not addressed so we again had issues later on. We were told there was a plumber that to fixWould be stay there again we would if we only needed 3 bedrooms instead of 4.

We are sorry your stay was less than stellar. We would hope to do better for you next time. However, we also believe in accurate and honest reviews which this is not. There is some context missing. We never received any complaint from you regarding the TV. We would have assisted immediately. We did hear from you regarding the shower…the last night of your stay. I immediately addressed with you and told you we could get a plumber in the next day or two as it was out of our control. And, we did have him come, regrettably, the afternoon you checked out, and Jen he became available. The rest of your review was in-coherent so I’m not sure if I addressed everything you mentioned. Regardless, we will look to work harder with the things we can control.

Spacious, pet-friendly home. Quiet retreat with close proximity to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, trails, and activities. Kitchen is fully functional and spacious as well. Private, large backyard adds to ambiance. Lack of a/c on warm summer days can be problematic, but cool mornings and evenings are wonderful.

We had 7 family members staying for 4 nights. Everyone commented on how spacious and comfortable the house was. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of linens, good kitchen appliances, etc. the grounds were beautiful and flowers blooming. We hadn’t seen each other in a few years. So we hung out in a great space. Thank you for your attention to detail and keeping up this house! Enjoyed it!
