Located in the picturesque hamlet of Union Pier, Michigan, this perfect family friendly home has something for everyone! The three bedroom, 2.5 bath home sits within a very large fenced-in yard and has lots of privacy. Your group will love the large, private heated pool (16x40) and hot tub to soak your cares away! Kiddies will love the little playhouse too. The backyard fire pit is great for s'mores and starry nights (marshmallow sticks & firewood included)! The house has all the amenities you would expect in a quality vacation home including a well-appointed kitchen, central air/heat, wifi, cable, washer/dryer, wood-burning fireplace, several decks, and more. The grilling deck includes a Weber Genesis gas grill. The house also boasts a spacious screened in porch, perfect for dining or relaxing with a cup of morning coffee. It's a short walk to two sandy Lake Michigan Beaches (3.5 blocks away) as well as downtown Union Pier. Welcome to The Oasis!

Wonderful family house!

The Beautiful oasis exceeded our expectations! Our stay was wonderful and we couldn’t of asked for more, the house was clean and well equipped for all of our needs. Hands-down one of the best family vacation we have taken!!!!

Wonderful! pictures do not do this home justice.

This home was wonderful and better than we ever could have imagined. The large screened in porch is so relaxing and well thought out. Anything you could think of for a rental this home has it covered. Communicating with the property owner/management was effortless leading up to our stay also. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Perfect family getaway

This is an amazing property in a very sweet little town. Our kids LOVED the pool, hot tub, playhouse and swing! We had a great time roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. The best part of this house is the screened porch - the perfect hangout in the evenings. House is well stocked with towels, blankets, kitchen equipment, everything you could possibly need. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice, well-equipped home with wonderful amenities.

We enjoyed the week here with our kids and grandchildren. The home is very family oriented with great amenities - especially the pool! Wonderful, large screened-in porch. Three block walk to the beach. Two block walk to market / bakery. 10 minute drive to New Buffalo. We would definitely stay here again.

LOVED this place!

First time trip to Union Pier, the town and this property are perfect! Our kids loved all of the outside options, it was nice to have things to keep them occupied that we didn't have to bring. We enjoyed it so much we plan to go back next year. The only issue we ran into was the ice maker not working properly, so in the grand scheme of things not a big deal.

Excellent!

The house was beautiful! Jason was a great property manager. It was very easy to get in touch with him. They did everything they could to ensure that we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. They thought about so many little details, down to the Bluetooth speaker, the beach towels, and the items necessary for a camp fire. Awesome!

Midnight at the Oasis

This house is fantastic! Plenty of rooms, cozy and clean. Great screened in porch. Loved the hot tub, fit four comfortably. Lots of extra touches! However, the beach was much farther than I was led to believe. That would have been a deal breaker. Also, the stairs to the bedrooms are steep, not good for bad knees.. This would be an awesome place for families, not so much for Adult get togethers.

Townline beach is just about four blocks from home. Probably a ten minute walk or less.

A true Oasis

We had such a great time. When we showed up after dark, the house looked so magical with the string lights in the front and around the pool and porch. We had 5 kids, ranging from 2-6 years old and there was never a moment of boredom for them. From the well stocked toys, books and puzzles in the house, to the playhouse, sandbox, swing and pool (with fun lights at night!). There wasn't anything that was forgotten as far as accommodations for us and the kids- from bug spray, sunscreen, to a wagon and beach chairs, pool towels and toys for the pool. We really enjoyed dinner on the screened in porch and when the kids went to bed we loved hanging out playing games in there as well. We loved the cleanliness of the house, property and pool/ hot tub. Our only complaint was that there was a "lock" on the hot tub temp so we couldn't turn it down. We fell in love with this place, the little shops down the street and the beach. We also took a short drive to the Warren Dunes and enjoyed exploring them. It was a wonderful place we were sad to leave. We were also blessed with amazing weather!

Relaxing winter retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief holiday getaway to this cozy and beautiful property. While it must be a blast in the summer, we appreciated the wood burning fireplace, the hot tub (thanks to mgmt for getting it up and running for us!), and the short walk down to the beach, albeit in our winter coats. We look forward to potentially returning one day!

WOW! Magical place!

The house was magically amazing! Everything you would want in a vacation. The outdoor and common spaces were perfect. We enjoyed the heated pool, the hot tub, the campfire, the screened in porch and sunsets at the beach just down the road. My 11 year old loved the swing! It was pretty awesome. My only problem was we didn't stay long enough!

Great location and great pool and porch

We had nine people staying there, including three small children and this rental was the right size, offering many fun extras for the kids, such as a sand box, pool toys, a swing, an outdoor playhouse, tons of board games, etc, while also having all the basics, like laundry, a kitchen with all the supplies needed, pool towels, etc to make staying there easy and convenient. The porch is very spacious and well furnished, so it's easy to enjoy dinner out there or just relax. We would also say that the property had very few bugs, which was surprising given the season. The company they use to treat the property for insects must be very effective.

Great property, needs some elbow grease

We were very pleasantly surprised with the furnishings provided but disappointed at the brevity of the items listed on the website and the inaccuracy and lack of completeness of the response to my question on the subject. Nice property, but the bedroom windows and porch screens are filthy. The deck railing and much of the exterior need a power wash and some paint. The kids' playhouse needs a good cleaning as does the sandbox. We were disappointed to find 4 ticks on out bodies after visiting the pool (we did not get into any high grass); perhaps the rain early in the week washed away the spray, but it was not working. The mouse traps should also be checked between rentals, as we found a dead mouse on arrival. On attempting to check out we spent 10 minutes trying to navigate the website and check out; we never did get a confirm of checkout. Perhaps the weak Verizon coverage was part of the problem. In spite of these issues, we had a great time, and would return.

Unfortunately, the cold and rainy spring really hampered our ability to finish all the planned outdoor projects before the season started. Were trying to chip away at the list on the Friday turnovers. Were so sorry about the mousetrap you found in the small furnace closet. That is the third mouse caught in the last five years! As for the possible ticks, the owner found what looked like a tick over Memorial Day weekend. It turned out to be just a small bug (six legs and antennae rather than 8 legs). Hopefully that's what they found too! Mosquitp Squad sprays this yard every two weeks with natural pesticides targeting specifically mosquitoes and ticks. Thank you for the nice review in our cottage guest book. Were glad you had a nice time at The Oasis and hope you choose to return again.

Great Stay!

My family enjoyed our stay at Union Pier. The property was just like photos online. The kitchen was very well stocked with every pot, pan, utensil you might need. There were even many spices and seasonings for use too. The playhouse was perfect for my four year old grandkids. There were lots of very nice toys and kids books that they also enjoyed. We were only able to use the pool two days due to a problem with the heating and filters, as well as, cool weather and rain which was disappointing. But once the pool guys fixed the problem, the water was clean and warm. The screened in porch was wonderful and we enjoyed having a number of campfires with the wood being right there. There was a problem with the cleaning crew not leaving enough, bath towels, washrags, a dishrag, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags ... for our group of six adults and two toddlers, so I would suggest renters bring plenty with them. All in all we had a positive week.

We were sorry for the issue they had with pool but everything had been resolved. We supply one bath towel, wash cloth, and hand towel per each guest.

Oasis in Union pier

Blue fish was easy to work with and the house was amazing, better than we expected. We noticed the hot tub was dirty when we got there and they sent somone to clean it the next morning. My wife also forgot her shampoo in the house and they held it for her. We would definitely book with them again.

Very Roomy

Friends and I came up from Chicago to celebrate the new year. We loved the rooms with huge windows, warm wood fireplace, fun piano, the kitchen open to the dining room, and the large backyard. However, I looked for cabins with a hot tub, so I was excited to find this one as well as a 3 season room! I was very disappointed that the 3 season room was filled with furniture so we couldn't use it (we even brought a heater to fully enjoy) and the hot tub was wrapped up and unusable. The reason I booked the place was for the hot tub and it wasn't in the description that it was closed since November. Loved the place and would be GREAT for summer but was really disappointing for winter.

Comfy and lovely place with everything you need!

Our stay at The Oasis was wonderful! It was such a lovely place and had everything we needed for our girls' getaway. It was a clean, spacious home with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The string lights on the outside were very welcoming and the fresh flowers were a nice touch! It was chilly when we were there, but it would be an awesome place for a family to bring their children in the summer months as it had a darling playhouse, sandbox, and pool and a huge yard. My girlfriends and I created wonderful memories there. I can only imagine the memories children could create there, too!

Very nice place

Wonderful! A beautiful and memorable stay!

Six adults and 3 small children spent a glorious week in Union Pier at this beautiful house. Every need was anticipated—the home was comfortable, well appointed and more than fulfilled our hopes for a wonderful week away from home. The children loved the playhouse, the pool and sand area. We loved having our own pool and also enjoyed being in walking distance to the lake. We will definitely plan on returning—thank you to the owners for sharing this lovely home.
