About Brigid Brennan

We have always loved bringing our family to Martha's Vineyard. It was two of our children's first vacation at 8 and 9 weeks respectfully! We are hoping that this house becomes a second home which they will look forward to coming to each year.

Brigid Brennan purchased this house in 2013

Why Brigid Brennan chose Edgartown

We knew right away that this was a great property. Sitting on three acres makes it very private yet it is so convenient to everything we would want to do - the bike path, the beach, town, hiking. The best of both worlds!

What makes this house unique

Kayak enthusiasts - the house has deeded access to the Great Pond, one of the truly pristine areas of the island. Fish, bird watch or paddle your way down to a secluded section of South Beach.

Great home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this great home for one week in August. This home is great for large or extended families and was perfect for our week on the Vineyard. With four large bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, each bedroom had their own dedicated bathroom which was great since we had four adult couples staying together. The dining area was a perfect place to have large family style meals and the kitchen was very well equipped. The grill served us well many times throughout the and we tanned on the deck on the days we did not go to the beach. The landlord is one of the best (and i've rented several times in MV). She is very prompt with her responses and was super helpful when we had silly questions and even more helpful when we needed assistance with the Air Conditioning. We'd LOVE to rent this house again and can't wait for the opportunity to do so. Thanks Brigid!

Awesome summer vacation at a great home

  • 5 of 5

We had two families stay for a week this past July. We found the home to be perfect for our vacation. The kitchen was large, up to date with high end appliances, and very well stocked. We were able to eat a number of meals in which helps with 4 kids under 5 years old. The house is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and has all of the conveniences of home . Each bedroom had its own bathroom. There is a nice living room as well as a great room with a large TV. There was plenty of room to gather and also get away for private times.

There is a huge yard that is very private. We were not able to see the neighbors’ houses. Our kids had a great time in the yard and since it is set well back off the road there is no traffic to worry about. There is a huge deck which is great for relaxing or dining. The deck is well equipped with a very large stainless steel Weber grill, a great outdoor shower , and plenty of seating for dining or laying out in the sun.

When we arrived the island had just experienced a very bad storm which caused the loss of power and cable. The owners were great to work with getting us up and running. They contacted us multiple times to make sure we were all set. Their service and caring attitude went above what we normally would have expected.

We’re looking forward to returning next year. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation on MV.

Brigid's home was absolutely perfect!! We had the best time and plan to visit again next year! The home is in an absolutely perfect location and is well stocked with everything that a family would need. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and it's a great home for a family gathering! Brigid was very helpful in sending any/all information about MV - her overviews and suggestions were right on target. I highly suggest renting bikes - again with this location getting around on a bike was super fun for all. We can't wait to plan our visit back!!

Another enjoyable stay on MV

  • 5 of 5

This was our third (or fourth?) year at this property and, yet again, we have nothing but positives to say. Located in Edgartown just blocks from Morning Glory Farm, this house satisfies each of our requirements: location, privacy, space and, above all, comfort. We make good use of the large, well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grill; the dining rooms (indoor and out on the large patio); the garden reading nook; the ping-pong table in the basement; and the spacious bedrooms. Each year we have arrived to a spotlessly clean house that, by now, feels very much like home. Truly, we highly recommend a stay here!

Wonderful Edgartown vacation home!!!

  • 5 of 5

I rented this home with 6 of my closest girlfriends for our annual get-away and we loved everything about this beautiful home! It feels secluded and yet, so convenient, right on the bike path and not far from town. We loved biking to Morning Glory Farm for fresh produce and fabulous scones/muffins, etc. The great back deck was our early morning coffee spot and our early evening gathering place for a glass of wine - the grounds around the house are lovely! Each person had their own bed or sofa bed, plenty of bathrooms for so many women, and the house is spacious, clean, comfortable and fresh - great colors, very attractive, and well-kept. We cooked quite a bit and found everything we needed in the way of kitchen items - great kitchen! And we all loved the outdoor shower! I arranged for the rental and found renting through VRBO and this owner to be such a pleasant and easy experience - she was so responsive to any questions and needs. I would absolutely recommend this fabulous home and I am hoping we get a chance to stay here again!
