You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll into Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular. Many guests have shared stories of watching whales breach on the ocean surface for hours at a time right from the lanai.

Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua Beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai just finished a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate park, more than 8 miles in length.

These ground floor units are just steps from the pool and barbeque area. The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security . This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children, with no stairs to lug up suitcases and groceries. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, a huge brand new LCD 50 inch flat screen TV, cable TV, Blu-Ray player, king-sized bed, a sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones.

The view is absolutely amazing. We love being right on the ocean. Kauai has been our favorite vacation destination for many years.

What makes this condo unique

The location is ideal being only 10 minutes from the airport (but far enough away that you never hear an airplane) and central to exploring the island both to the north and south. Wailua Bay View is close to shops and restaurants, yet quiet and peaceful. We really enjoy the walking distance to the protected beach cove for little ones and nearby Lydgate Park.

Great location and wonderful condo in Kapaa

My wife and I along with an adult daughter spent 9 days at the Wailua Bay View and found it was the right choice for us. The unit was only 15 minutes from the airport and centrally located between North and South Kauai attractions. It was only a minute or two drive to grocery shopping, restaurants, and Kapaa town. Best of all, we walked to most places including the convenient MiniMart, a delicious bakery, and a fantastic Mexican restaurant (Monico's) right across the street! We also walked a pleasant short distance North to happy hour on the beach at the LavaLava Club and a great dinner at the Hukilau Lanai restaurant.

The condo itself was perfect for us; awaking every morning to the sounds and sights of the ocean 30 feet away and Lihue in the distance. The pool and barbeque could not have been more convenient, literally right outside the front door of this first floor unit. We found the unit very well equipped and appreciated the newer appliances, both TV's, and the Bluetooth speakers. If you decide to ride the Kauai Bike path (and you should) we recommend using the Kapaa Beach Shop for the bicycle rental; $10 bucks for 7 speed cruisers and very nice people. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Perfect in every way!

The condo was everything that was pictured. We were right on the beach and loved to listen to the surf especially at night. The grounds and pool were immaculate. Area wise there were restaurants and things close by to do. The barbecues were a nice touch as well. Of all the islands we like Maui the best and would definitely return and stay at Suzanne's condo. She thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen to every little need you may have.

Well-appointed condo; on ground floor; great location on east side

We've stayed in this particular condo twice and really like the location mid-way on the east side, near Kapa'a, restaurants, beaches. The condo is in a 45 unit, three story building, on the ground floor so no elevator is needed. The unit is very close to the pool and the parking lot. It is well-appointed with modern conveniences and a very comfortable bed. Best of all is the protected lanai which affords continual enjoyment of the gorgeous panoramic view.

Great morning views!

Property owner provides all the things you need for a great time on the island and the property is close to restaurants and shops of Kapaa. Easy access to both north, south and other areas of the island. The bedroom is close to the main busy road so recommend that you use the air conditioner to block out the noise. We had a great time and recommend the condo.

Great location for exploring Kauai

This condo was exactly what we needed as a base for exploring Kauai. The central location was convenient to all corners of the island. The condo was clean and the view of Wailua Bay and the beach was stunning. The condo unit and the complex in which it is located appear to be well-maintained. The condo has a cooler, mats, sand chairs, and other items to help with enjoyment of the beach, and beach access is just steps away. The owner was very responsive at all stages of reservation, pre-arrival, after arrival, and departure (including a call back within seconds after emailing). This condo presents a great option for a Kauai getaway.
