Our family of four stayed here for a week during the holidays and couldn't have been more pleased. The condo was darling - exactly as described - and the property was clean and well-maintained. Working with the leasing agent/owner was easy and professional. Payment and check-in were a breeze. The kitchen was well-appointed with cute dishes, a variety of pots & pans, utensils, paper towels, and dish soap. We cooked several meals and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of soft towels and lots of blankets and heavy comforters for cold nights. Having a washer/dryer in the condo helped a ton. The owners also left a portable fan, humidifiers, and hair dryers. They take care of this unit, and it shows.
It is an easy walk to the base, especially if you aren't hauling your ski gear. We loved being able to walk over to base to watch the torchlight parade and New Years' Eve fireworks instead of having to catch a shuttle of drive from town. Lots of people staying at the condos walked to base each day with their equipment, but we were lazy and checked our skis and poles at the base each night ($5/set). We also chose to wear our snow shoes instead of ski boots back and forth, and we rented a day locker at base ($15/day). It was worth it, because we packed our lunches and left them in the locker (along with our shoes) several times. Anyone who skis knows that food on the mountain can be pricey, and the restaurants were really crowded during high season. For the quality of this unit at such a reasonable price, it's completely worth walking a few hundred yards to base. We rented our equipment from Crested Butte Sports just a few yards away from the condo. They were friendly, great to work with, and knew their stuff. Because we made reservations ahead of time, our gear was waiting for us when we arrived, and we got a 20% discount. It was easy and convenient for them to make adjustments to our boots and bindings during the week as needed. And if you are looking to eat out in downtown CB, don't miss Secret Stash and Slogar's -- the food is delicious and the owners are as nice as can be.
Very comfortable, well equipped condo. Almost ski in/out convenience without the price. Shay and Ashton go above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. Shipped our gear out and they had it waiting in our condo when we got there. Awesome.
We had a wonderful stay at the condo. It was even more spacious than the pictures showed, plenty of room for four of us and room for more as well. About a five minute walk to the ski mountain base. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, appliances and even a crock pot. Hot tub was perfect. Beautiful views of Mt. Crested Butte. Thank you! We will be back.
The condo was amazing. We packed in 7 people to this sweet place and were all extremely comfortable. It was really nicely decorated, has a large master bedroom with king size bed and attached bathroom, as well as another room that sleeps 4 comfortably, plus the living room couch pulls out. Lots of sleeping space. Oh and there is a hot tub (communal, but very nice), and a fireplace.
The condo is a 5 minute walk to the base of the mountain, which was so easy that it was actually faster to walk back for lunch (and beers) on the deck/patio than eat on the mountain. There is a shuttle that can take you in to town, which we did at night.
Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back.
Not a complaint. We had a leaky kitchen faucet that was repaired immediately after we called on it. Seems like that kind of service never happens with a vacation rental! Everything worked well and the stay went as planned. Good location, roomy, and a good general layout. We would rent this condo again or recommend it to anyone.
This condo is located in Mt. Crested Butte, just a few minutes away from the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort.
