Great spot in downtown San Diego

My wife and I enjoyed a month in this luxurious 1-br for our "snowbirds'"winter break. Very comfortable condo, great city and harbour views, elegantly furnished. We liked being walking distance to downtown restaurants and the trolley system. No car needed. We'll be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Sapphire. The unit is a corner spot, so you get incredible views—definitely one of the highlights. You can see both the water and the city, and the natural light during the day is great.The place itself was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. It felt spacious and quiet, which we appreciated.The building amenities were a big plus—there’s a nice pool, a good gym, and even a sauna, which was a terrific surprise. Everything was well-maintained and easy to access.The location is also really convenient, close to all of Little Italy's farmers markets, restaurants, shops, and just a short walk to the bay. It made getting around super easy. There's a parking space with the unit, but it's right by the train station so you really don't need a car.An excellent experience! Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet opportunity

This sweet condo was a perfect opportunity for us to immerse ourselves in the downtown SD experience. Incredible dining, entertainment, twice/week Farmers market, small grocery stores PACKED with diversity and more. Can you spend a month? Do it. Tugg and Christopher and everyone at Sapphire tower are professional, friendly and helpful.

Great Experience

Really enjoyed my experience in this condo. The building is in the best part of downtown San Diego centrally located a few blocks from Little Italy and also the waterfront. Only steps away from the trolley and train station. The unit was equipped with everything we needed from cooking supplies, pans, towels, extra bedding, etc. The apartment decor is really great and I appreciated having a door man at the lobby. The owners were truly amazing and worked with me on check out time since my flight got delayed and I would have had no where to go for hours. I would recommend this location to anyone who wants a great experience downtown. The only only only downfall of our trip was the hottub wasn't working for the entire month we were there which obviously had nothing to do with the owners. Hope to come back soon!

Beautiful property and location

This property will have you wanting to extend month after month! Well designed and clean. Location is perfect, walking distance to most main attractions DT. Few blocks from the pier/harbor area; fabulous restaurants of Little Italy. Breakfast and coffee on balcony was always relaxing in mornings w water views on my days off. The bed will offer a wonderful nights sleep! Will definitely stay again!

Highly recommend

We would definitely recommend this condo in downtown San Diego. It is right on the edge of Little Italy which boasts so many great restaurants, unbelievable farmers market on Saturdays, and a great dog park if you bring your furry friend. The train and MTS stations are one block south, which we used for a day trip to LA, and the Coaster train can take you up the coast to any of the other beach towns. Walk two blocks west to the bay and stroll along the great boardwalk all the way south to Seaport Village and Gaslamp District. Freeway access is only a few blocks away, so you can drive to anywhere. Ferry to Coronado is 10 minute walk. This location could not be any better. Condo provides amazing views of the city and bay, and is surprisingly quiet given that it is downtown. Building staff are friendly and professional. We had a blast, and you will too. Would love to return in the future.

Perfect getaway!

The property is in a very secure building with extremely professional and friendly staff. The location couldn't be more perfect - accessible to the bay, Seaport Village, and Little Italy all within walking distance, and fifteen minutes to the beaches, Balboa Park, Fashion Valley Mall and a host of other places via car. The views from the apartment are gorgeous and the apartment is both quiet and well appointed with everything you need to feel at home. I cannot recommend this VRBO highly enough!

An Elegant & Peaceful Respite

This location is exactly as advertised. I wanted for nothing by way of creature comforts. The hosts, Tugg and Christopher are responsive and accommodating; warm but not intrusive. Perfect pied de terre

We were here for six weeks while our new condo was being finished. The photos of the unit speak for themselves. The views are incredible. The building was always immaculate and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location, right on the edge of Little Italy and next to the trolley, was perfect. The owners were responsive to a couple of suggestions regarding minor updates.
