Bright and Comfortable!!

The Property was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. It was warm and inviting and close to everything. The beds were very comfortable ....hard to get out of each morning!!

Great house with lots of space

The house was very clean, fresh, comfortable and nicely decorated. There were six adults in our family group and we had all the space we needed and then some! Nice location close to the sites, shops and restaurants in Oak Bluffs. Hope to visit the Vineyard again and would certainly try to stay here again.

Terrible cleaning and conditions of bathroom , kitchen and patio.

This place back porches faces an open cemetery only 40 feet from the graves. Pictures don’t reflect reality.all dishes and cups, glasses, utensils were stored on the cupboard totally dirty from the prior guests use. Gross. Extremely expensive for what it is. Do not recommend. Very stressful to deal with manager, cleaning crew had to come to the house at happy hour time to clean half of the dishes and left to their sons birthday party. Extremely disappointing

After going over your feedback, the homeowner wanted to address the items that you mentioned: -The cemetery is across the road but is hidden behind trees and shrubbery. -We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. -We are sorry about the dishes. Our previous guests didn't follow the checkout cleaning process. When you brought this to our attention, our cleaning team went out to address this. Great house for a family vacation

Loved staying in this cozy house with enough rooms for everyone to be able to have their space but also enjoy each other’s company at the same time. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. The outdoor shower was especially a hit.

Our visit to Oak Bluffs home

The location of the property and the home were great! Wonderful that we were within easy walking (and bus ride) distance from town, the library, local art galleries. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the deck. The bedrooms were spacious and very nice. Opportunities for improvement: 1) shower liners were either too long or mildewed; 2) floor near bathtub in one of bathrooms had early signs of mold/mildew (this should have been repaired before our arrival) 3) there was only 1 set of towels for us for the week; given the rental price our group thought that at least 2 sets of towels per guest would have been more reasonable. 4) none of the more 'common' cable channels were available i.e. HGTV, OWN, ESPN, Food Network. Although we were out enjoying the Vineyard most days, for the few lazy/rainy days the TV options were very limited. 5) Receipt of house key code and 'welcome' packet. We didn't receive the code until about 1 hour before our arrival and the welcome packet on the day of arrival. The owner was not provided with the correct email address of primary contact. We subsequently were not made aware of prior to arrival of need for us to purchase paper towels, toilet paper----which again, given the substantial rental fees submitted, the owner/property manager should have given consideration to the inconvenience of guests to have to go out and purchase.

The homeowner would like to share the following message: "Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We strive to provide impeccable service to our guests, and when something comes up to have our caretaker resolve any issues immediately. I am grateful after talking with you directly in Martha’s Vineyard that each of your concerns were immediately addressed and resolved. All liners are the standard size for all showers. The cleaning crew found no mildew in the bathroom, but they did report that the grout color is dark between the tile floors. SeaUOnTheVineyard uses the services of XFINITY Cable TV, and the premium package selected includes numerous additional channels from the standard package, including HBO channels. We also provide a Roku TV since many renters like to stream the various channels they generally watch. Upon arrival, your party received a gift of two reusable shopping bags that included a starter kit with paper towels, dishwashing and laundry pods, trash liners, and other items. Our vacation home sleeps up to nine and it is impossible to know the shopping needs for each group. When renting a home you must obtain personal items that you may need during your stay. This is one of the major differences between a rental vacation home and a hotel, but we're sorry if that caught you off guard. Unfortunately, your manual did not arrive a week before your stay. After we finally connected via phone, you were sent the information immediately. It is our proactive practice to send detail information in manual a week before arrival. Thankfully in spite of the areas you mentioned, you enjoyed your stay at SeaUOnTheVineyard and the time you spent in Martha’s Vineyard.
