This wonderful oceanfront home offers you the perfect beach vacation! Everyone dreams of vacationing in a home where your whole view is filled with nothing but the beach and ocean and this home delivers on that dream! The common living area has wall-to-wall windows where you can constantly view the many changing ocean scenes and amazing sunsets! Hear the waves crash, see the pelicans soar by and feel the ocean breezes on your face as you savor that wonderful glass of local wine on the deck! To get to the beach, just head out the front door where you will find a short path through the dunes that leads you to the Morro Strand State Beach. Here you can walk for miles in either direction on white sand beaches. It doesn’t get better than this!

You will have use of one parking spot in the garage and plenty of additional parking in the long driveway. This home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is great for walking and biking but is just a 5 minute drive to downtown Morro Bay. The Morro Bay Trolley Car also frequents this neighborhood during the extended summer season, providing you a carefree ride to the downtown area.

The Morro Bay area offers so many outdoor activities – biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tide pools and much more. There are also many cultural programs offered through Cal Poly and the local artist groups in the area. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don’t want to miss wine tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions. Be sure to check the local publications so you can participate in a few of the many festivals and special events that happen in the area. Once you vacation here, you will definitely want to come back!

Morro Bay is situated in the heart of the California central coast. It offers a 'sleepy little fishing town' feel but is the center of many activities and attractions such as Hearst Castle (30 miles north), wine tasting, water activities like deep-sea fishing, kayaking and surfing. San Luis Obispo is the home of California Polytechnical Institute and offers many cultural events and SLO Town has a wonderful downtown area with a great farmer's market and good restaurants and shopping. The beaches in the area are never crowded and the Morro Bay estuary offers great opportunities for up-close encounters with otters, sea lions, many water birds and great vistas of the area.

Beautiful, relaxing home on the beach!

We rented this home for our annual "Sister's Trip". This year, we brought our elderly mom. The house was perfect. Mom was able to easily get around with her walker and wheel chair. The house had everything we needed and we were very comfortable. Easy access to the beach and nearby walking trails. We will definitely be back!

We loved that this property was right on the beach. The beach was amazing! We spent most of our days out and about, but made dinner a few times. The grill was great for cooking fresh fish. We thought everything was very well maintained.

Lovely home in a great location. We had a great time and would stay here again.

We loved the place. Beach directly in front is good for lounging and playing in the wash but you'll need to drive a bit north for good surf. Friendly neighborhood, great location (eat at Taco Temple!).

Easy to get to SLO where there are better dining options. If you are a wine drinker, you'll want to hit Albertson's. Beer is abundant and there are good options everywhere. (Too boozey?)

This would have been 5 stars for us but for the fact that there we'rent any beach towels. Hardly the end of the world but did seem a bit odd given, well, it's a beach house.

Kitchen has everything you need and the gas fireplaces are awesome on a cool night. Totally recommend.

For what it's worth, the rental company was also quite pleasant to deal with.

Just OK

The kitchen was clean enough. The bathrooms need a GOOD cleaning. We have stayed in several rental houses and this is by far the dirtiest and most poorly mantained one. One of the reasons we decided for this house is it was supposed to be a 'no pets' property. The couches smelled like dogs had slepted on them. Also in the notes on the property it stated that there was a cat that visited and we couldd let it come inside if we liked. We all have allergies so of course we didn't like. Clearly others have liked so we all sneezed through our week there. That being said , the view is wonderful. Bueatiful sunsets!

Owner's Response: We are professional property managers and we manage this home. We are quite surprised and disappointed to get this feedback after the fact. We are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and these renters did not contact us to report any of these issues during their stay nor did they fill out a feedback form upon departure. We take pride in providing very clean and well-maintained homes for our guests so if we had been notified of any of the points made in the review, we would have done everything in our power to correct them. It just so happened that the owner was the one who stayed in the house prior to these guests and so we checked with him and he said he sat and laid on the couch quite a bit and did not smell any dog smell. 2 other people have independently checked it since receiving this review (I was one of them) and there was no dog smell or foul odor detected by any of us. The information that she found in the house about the cat hanging around is old information and we should have removed it. I have clearly posted instructions in the home to NOT let the cat in the house and the cat was actually adopted by another family in the neighborhood so it has not been around or been a factor for almost a year. I am sorry that these guests were not satisfied with all aspects of their stay but I invite anyone reading this review to please read the other reviews posted for this property. You will see that others have loved it, found it well-maintained and want to return!

Perfect Easter Week Vacation by the Sea

A perfect week by the sea in this beautiful home. The home has a wonderful open kitchen, dining room, living room, all connected. Beautiful views of Morro Rock and the ocean. We walked the beach into town and back every morning and just loved doing it. Gas fireplace in the living room and master bedroom were utilized as it was a bit chilly in the mornings.. providing perfect ambiance to the entire setting. Just perfect, no other way to describe it.

We have rented other homes in Pacific Heights, Carmel, Key West and Key largo and this was far and away the best yet!
