100 Acre Reserve | River Access, Endless Adventure

Welcome to Destination Outdoors Summerset Ridge! Experience true Smoky Mountain glamping on 100 private acres with endless outdoor adventure. Hike, fish, float, or relax in your cozy yurt retreat perfect for couples or families seeking nature and comfort.

*Keep in mind there is no AC or heat, but most weeks in the summer it stays cool up in the mountains. We also have a space heater and heated blanket for the colder months.

The driveway is steep but if you are familiar with gravel mountain roads 2WD is fine. Otherwise we recommend AWD or 4WD.

Summerset Ridge is your gateway to adventure near the Tuckasegee River. Enjoy hiking, tubing, fly fishing, disc golf, biking, and stargazing right on the property. Watch sunrise and sunset from a private trail or gather by the campfire under a clear mountain sky. Explore charming nearby towns, try local brews, or visit Great Smoky Mountains National Park for more outdoor fun.

You have access to the whole yurt, private deck, bath house, trails and all on site activities.

The bath house is shared with guests in our other nearby yurt.

This is a pet friendly property and a pet fee applies at booking.

The yurt has little insulation so please pack warm clothing in winter. We provide a space heater and heated mattress pad for your comfort. If temperatures drop below freezing and you prefer not to stay we gladly offer a full refund.
