About Daniel

Our families have lived in Minnesota, Washington, and California and visited many places around the world, but Hawaii is the place we call home. We fell in love with Hawaii, the place, weather, scenery, people, culture, resorts and more ... Especially here at the Beach Villas in Ko Olina.

Daniel purchased this condo in 2008

Why Daniel chose West Oahu

Ko Olina Resort is located on the West Shores of Oahu, the sunny side of the island.

What makes this condo unique

Luxurious and elegantly designed furnishings of our home and the amenities of the Beach Villas makes this place the most memorable vacation destination.

Beautiful Kapolei Condo

  • 5 of 5

The condo was very roomy and beautifully decorated. The view from the lanai was spectacular being able to see a slight view of the ocean and the fish pond and pools below. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The location was great not a lot of traffic in the area but convenient to restaurants. I had a few emails with the owner Daniel and he was always very nice and helpful. My girls even left some of their souvenirs there and Daniel's cleaning people found them and Daniel offered to mail them back.

I would highly recommend this condo and if I come back to Oahu I will definitely stay here or one of the other units that Daniel owns.

Absolutely wonderful, spacious condo!

  • 5 of 5

Right up front, I want to verify the view you see on the front page for this condo is in fact the view you have from your huge deck! The deck has a nice big square table with 4 comfortable, cushy chairs that sits under an overhang, to protect you from the rare squall (that is over before you know it!)

This is a very well appointed condo, with plenty of cookware, flatware, plates & bowls (both ceramic & plastic for the pool area). We stocked up in a big way at the local Costco and Safeway and had great meals, saving us hundreds if not a thousand dollars in our 8 day stay for meals (outside of a few great restaurants like the Corner Pizza or the Hawaiin BBQ, most are pretty spendy).

What amazed us is only a fraction of the units are occupied. I felt like I was sharing a huge and beautiful oasis with just a handful of people. The grounds are immaculate with a huge river of Koi - more than a 100 large colorful Koi, which we never got tired of seeing as we walked to the pool or beach.

Speaking of the beach, it's right outside the grounds, with a paved boardwalk that runs the entire length of Ko Olina from the Marina to the Four Seasons so you can have brisk 30+ minute walk every morning or evening. Snorkeling on the beach, you'll see many fish & some coral, admittadly not a lot of coral or fish, but respectable for just a 30 foot walk. The beach area has both soft sand and grass with plenty of shade in the grass area.

The unit is well appointed with 4 great beach chairs that sling over your shoulders, 3 pairs of fins and probably 8 or so masks. The fins fit womens size 7 up to mens size 12 (a little snug but workable). With a few coolers (one soft side & one hard side), you can take a few drinks down to the beach.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, with nice soft sheets, and while there is truly one "master bedroom", the other two are spacious with their own bathrooms. The master has AC that is seperate from the rest of the house, so you can have different temperatures if you want.

The kitchen is all high-end appliances (wolf stove top, sub-zero), with dual dishwashers and a microwave & oven. All were exceptional and very nice. It comes appointed with dishwasher soap, great instructions and the ice maker can keep the ice flowing (and a working blender that can crush that ice into smooth daiquiris and pina coladas!)

It's a great unit, and let our family of 5 spread out & feel really at home. Such a wonderful condo and grounds!

Great choice for a large family!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay! Daniel was very prompt in responding to any questions I had from the time of booking through the end of our stay. The villa was perfect for our family of 7. It is extremely clean, well cared for, and well-equipped. We had everything we needed to prepare meals and we really appreciated having beach chairs, towels, and a cooler to use. The location and view are spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed having our coffee every morning and relaxing after a day at the beach each evening on the lanai. There were just a couple of things about the resort that were slightly inconvenient. All of the parking spaces are for compact cars, which made it difficult to park a larger car or SUV; however, the employees were very helpful in finding us a new space where there wasn't another large space right next to our vehicle when we were notified about parking over the line. The other thing is that the pools, including the quiet pool, close at 9:00 p.m. We rarely had time after a full day to enjoy the pool and/or hot tub with it closing that early. We understand the need to respect others in villas around the pool, but it would have been nice to have access to the quiet pool a little bit later. These were very minor inconveniences, but we wanted others to be aware. Overall, this a wonderful place to stay in a very nice area, and we would definitely stay there again!

Island perfection!

  • 5 of 5

All of the reviews for this property say many of the same things I will. Our experience at the Beach Villas in Ocean Tower 326 was without a doubt the best vacation for our family of six adults.

Each contact with Daniel, the owner, was answered quickly and thoroughly. I knew from the start we had made the right choice! Upon our arrival at the villas, we were greeted by Monica (our hostess) and showed around the unit. We got oriented and hit the Target store in Kapolei to get our groceries and a few supplies. There are four wonderful beach chairs and eight big beach towels along with some snorkeling equipment and beach toys in the hall closet. (Hint: there are no plastic bags to bring home your groceries. There are some reusable bags in the closet with the beach supplies.)

My wife and I along with our two sons and their wives each had a comfortable bedroom. The master and one other bedroom had en suites with tub and shower; the third bathroom was a couple of steps outside the third bathroom and designed for common use but we each stuck to our own.

The parking space for this unit was close to the elevators dedicated for our section of the building. It was tight for the rented minivan but we could make it. The parking spot was uncovered but the walk to the car was totally covered until the last ten feet or so.

We spent many hours on cove two basking in the sun or swimming/snorkeling. Standing near the rock barriers in waist-deep waters you can see a variety of fish. The water is calm in the cove and we saw many families with small children enjoying themselves.

We had the most wonderful time at Ko Olina and would recommend it to anyone. Other listings for the Beach Villas did not have the the 3 queen or larger beds and the 3 bathrooms we needed for our family. And the view from the lanai...super! You can't see the sunset from the condo, but just take the short walk down to the cove to see the spectacular sunset.

You won't be disappointed. Far from it.

Fantastic property

  • 5 of 5

This was our fourth time visiting the islands and I wish I had known about Ko'Olina before. Vashon was so friendly and helpful- he showed us everything we needed to know. Property is beautiful. The lagoons provided our family with hours of fun and when the salt water became too much- our kids spent their time in the pools! Loved the set up of the condo. We had a party of six and had plenty of room. We are very picky about cleanliness and it was spick and span when we arrived. We fell in love with the sliding window/doors and spent a ton of time in the evenings playing cards and games on the lanai. Loved the BBQ grills on the grounds and used them multiple times. It was a fantastic time and we thank Daniel for his beautiful condo and hospitality!

True Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived in a rainstorm, but that didn't stop us from hitting the beach, the pool, the spa, and the bar! Of course, that was after walking around the absolutely beautiful accommodations, marveling at how the reality was even better than the pictures. We loved everything at the villas. The pool/spa area was gorgeous and sparkling clean. We used the community BBQ twice and greatly enjoyed eating dinner as the sun set. The beach was steps away, and it was not busy, which suited us just fine. All four lagoons in the area are pretty mellow - which worked out very well for us, but probably wouldn't be enough action for most teenagers. The bartenders were friendly, as was everyone else we encountered throughout the premises. Having beach towels, boogie boards, and beach chairs in the condo was very convenient, as was the washer and dryer. Daniel was very easy to work with; he really made it effortless to rent the place. Our vacation was awesome; our family made some wonderful memories!
