Welcome to KAHAKAI HALE! Our OCEANFRONT studio #403 in the Lahaina Shores Beach Resort is on the fourth floor with a beautiful view of the ocean and the island of Lanai through floor to ceiling glass doors opening to the lanai. Watch the whales in winter and enjoy the lights of the cruise ships anchored in Lahaina harbor year around.
Go downstairs and relax at the pool or get some sun on the beautiful manicured lawn while lying on the chaise lounges provided. A few steps away is a gate to an inviting quiet sandy beach where you can snorkel and swim. Lahaina Shores is within walking distance of the Front Street Lahaina shopping area with a multitude of restaurants, galleries, boutiques, and museums. Right next-door is a quaint mall with many shops, a convenience store, and five restaurants, including one with a popular Hawaiian Luau and show six nights a week.
Our renovation was recently completed. All new furnishings, kitchen, flooring, etc. Our condo features a mirrored entry, tiling throughout the unit, and a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living area has a comfortable King-sized bed, comfortable chairs, a large 50' LED flat panel HDTV and DVD. We also include free wireless high-speed internet access. The lanai is a wonderful place to sit and watch the whales (during whale season) or just to enjoy the view of the turquoise waters and palm trees. Let the soft sounds of the ocean surf lull you to sleep.
Lahaina Shores, with its peaceful elegance, is a lovely alternative to busy, expensive resorts. Once you have stayed here, you will want to come back every year. Frommers describes Lahaina Shores as 'Maui’s hidden jewel of a hotel'. Come stay with us soon!

About Lisa Bucek
Aloha, thanks for the taking time to look at our site. My wife and I were both born and raised with sand between our toes in South Florida always looking for the next adventure, and as a firefighter usually found it. We first ventured to Hawaii on our honeymoon in 2006, and traveled to each island in search of our dream home. We were both captivated by Maui and its lush tropical landscape and endless outdoor activities from the mountains to the ocean. Our studio has been extensively renovated and decorated in a modern décor. We have made this truly our home away from home. Mahalo Nui Loa, Cameron and Lisa Bucek

Why Lisa Bucek chose Lahaina
Lahaina Shores is a charming resort that sits right on the beach, with panoramic views of the Pacific and natures wonders. We chose Lahaina Shores for many reasons; walking distance to shops, surf breaks, restaurants, and numerous historical sites. Additionally, the view is AMAZING!…… Sunsets over the Pacific with the island of Lanai in the background are just plain awesome. You will never get tired of sitting on the lanai listening to the sounds of the surf, looking out at the cruise ships, surfers, paddle boarders, clouds, and rainbows galore! Just walk out the back gate and you are on the beach; now its time to choose your adventure or just simply relax…

Location is perfect.
If you want a lanai overlooking a beach and water then this is the place. Perfect little studio for two, we spent most of our time on the lanai. Excellent food is basically next door- Pacific'O is also on the beach, wonderful happy hour with amazing treats from 4-5 and drinks until 5:30.
Beautiful and convenient location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely condo. Lisa, thanks so much for making it available!
Lahaina Shores the place to be!
Let me start with this:
The location is absolutely awesome.
The condo its beautiful and well appointed, and the view is spectacular!
This is a comfortable condo with a nice balcony overlooking the grounds and the beach. The building itself is kinda 70’s in an colonial style that conjures up memories of a Hawaii 40 years ago. As you walk into the lobby you notice how clean and well maintained everything is.
This was our first time in Hawaii and in Maui.
The first day we drove to all of the big fancy hotels, and we are glad that we decided to stay in Lahaina Shores Resort. You will need to pay top dollars to have same unobstructed view of the ocean and to be that close to the beach. Basically you are on the beach :)
The parking is great, they have an underground parkade, and a large above ground parking area, that is literally steps to the hotel.
We started each day on the balcony with our morning coffee, watching people walking on the beach, dogs playing in the water, kayakers, paddle boarders etc.
And we ended our days on the balcony with glass of wine watching sunset.
Beautifully sunsets there!
To make your long stay more comfortable there is a laundry on each floor. I thought i mention that, so you don't have to pack heavy for 2 weeks.
The resort itself has a nice laid back feel.
Seems like lots of guests are returning each year there - no wonder why.
Everyday they have a concierge on duty. Very helpful and knowledgeable people. They helped us planning a couple excursions. Don't be shy go and talk to them - they are awesome.
We rented a car so we were able to drive all over the island. We did all the touristy things plus some more. We enjoyed the island, despite a couple of rainy days and i dont mean the short tropical rain - i mean pouring rain all day long.
Well you cant control the weather, so during the rainy days we did indoor activities like visiting the aquarium and shopping of course :)
The highlights of our trip:
1) Lahaina Shore Resort, and our beautiful condo.
2) Trilogy excursion to Lanai Island. Its a all day excursion. Price but worth every penny. The crew was professional, fun and knowledgeable. Just book it - you want beyou want be disappointed.
3) Restaurants: Fleetwood's on Front St.Lahaina (sorry Mama's Fish House) delicious food, great roof top patio, and excellent service.
Thank you Lisa for sheering your place with us.
If we ever visit Maui again, we would love to stay at your place.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay!! Condo was very nice! So close to the water you can hear the waves with the patio doors shut. :)
Quick weekend in Lahaina
It was a great location walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Lahaina. Quiet community with a great view of the sunset.
A Paradise Place to Stay
Aloha Cameron and Lisa!
Dean and I would like to express how much we enjoyed our vacation staying in your unit 21 Feb – 8 Mar 2018. We felt so much at home and couldn’t request anything that was not provided with your generosity of sharing all of the amenities you offer to your visitors. We had the opportunity to meet Jane, your housekeeper, before we left as we waited until the very last minute to leave since our flight wasn’t until late that night. We treated your retreat as if it was our home. My only comment is when we open the patio door to the lanai, should the air conditioner stop operating so we can have the screen door open without turning off the air conditioner? We found a switch, however, it was not functioning.
Our journey to Lahaina Shores began when I, Cathi, retired in 2008 and had five other couples visiting with us in celebration of my retirement who also booked condos there. We love the location because it allows us to walk to the market, restaurants, and souvenier shopping for friends back home. Additionally, on this trip, we discovered Fleetwood's on Front Street and purchased tickets to see him perform. Such a treat and enjoyed the show! Rumors had it that Stevie Nicks was on the island and was going to make an appearance but that did not happen.
We visited all of our favorite restaurants and tried new ones found through Guy Fieri's DDD which turned out to be good choices - i.e., Fleetwood's for happy hour; Star Noodle where we encounter other friends visiting the island; Down the Hatch; Fatty Daddy's Smokehouse; Bridget & Bernards Garden Café. Of course we had to visit Mama's Fish House, however, reservations must be made six week in advance! Another treat was the sea turtles coming ashore to rest at Paia overlook! That day’s count was 69. What a treat!
We look forward to future trips to Maui and do plan to reserve your condo.
