If it's the ocean you are looking for, there is no better view from the Breakers than this unit. Because this villa is on the top floor the private balcony is open to the sky and offers privacy for sunbathing while gazing at the ocean and beach by day and for observing the moon and stars during the evenings. The Tybee Island light house can be seen in the distance. Watch the dolphins frolicking in the surf while listening to the waves lapping the shore. All of this can also be enjoyed from the living room and kitchen because of the direct ocean view.

We are so excited about our newly renovated condo! We have installed wood flooring, tile flooring and crown molding throughout. The kitchen has been enlarged and new cabinets, quartz countertops, sink and fixtures have been installed along with new adjustable recessed lighting. A new 46' flatscreen TV has been installed on the wall in the living room along with a 32' flatscreen on the wall in the newly enlarged bedroom. The entire villa has been freshly painted and our new Charleston style furniture gives it the finishing touches.

Our villa will accommodate up to four guests. There is a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. A dining area, kitchen, bath and laundry alcove makes this unit the perfect place for your Hilton Head Island vacation.

Stroll along the beach to the Tiki Hut bar next door and enjoy your favorite libation while listening to live island music. Shopping and dining are also just steps away at Coligny Plaza where you will find restaurants, grocery store, coffee shops, move theater, bakery, bike rentals and a variety of 'island' shops.

For those who require more than one unit we also have the next door villa, #315 available for rent, which can be viewed on the VRBO website, listing #392125. These 2 newly decorated ocean front units make a great selection for 2 families that want to stay together. The design of the Breakers complex is a true Eastern Seaboard Walk-up.

About The Owner

We have owned and enjoyed sharing our condo with our guests for 20 seasons. We live in Indiana so going to our island getaway whenever possible is something we look forward to. Our children and grandchildren love it too, as a matter of fact our son and daughter-in-law now own the unit right next door!

The Owner purchased this condo in 1995

Why The Owner chose Island Areas

Our daughter went to Hilton Head for an internship her senior year in college. She fell in love with the island and returned to Hilton Head for 3 years after graduation. We visited her and also fell in love with Hilton Head. That is how we came to buy a Breakers villa. We think the Breakers is in the best location on the whole island!

What makes this condo unique

We love that so many places are within walking distance of our condo. Coligny Plaza and the Beach Market are just a few steps away where you can find shopping, restaurants, bike rentals and much much more.

As a three-year (maybe, even four years) returning guest of this condo, I can assure you that you won't be disappointed! It is truly beachfront. The condo is very clean and well-maintained with many updates. The location couldn't be more convenient. With Coligny Plaza across the street, everything you need is within walking distance. We look forward to returning next year.

The perfect Villa!!

This villa is the best on the island. I have been here many times and it never fails to impress me. The villa is in a perfect location, right on the beach with a perfect view of the ocean. This unit is very clean, modern, and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. I spent a week here and never moved my car once. The owners are very easy to work with and will and any questions promptly. I plan to stay again next year .

The view from the deck of Breakers 316 is priceless! We enjoyed our walks on the beach and to Coligny Plaza. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. The condo was nicely furnished and very clean. Mr and Mrs. Shanks were wonderful people to work with. This was a condo that we hope to visit again. We would definitely recommend this condo to our friends! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week!

Perfect vacation rental and spot

We just spent our third year in a row vacationing in this perfect rental at this perfect vacation spot. This is the perfect condo for two. It has all the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy your vacation and it is in a great location on the island. Our day started and ended on the balcony with the beautiful view of the beach. In between we took long walks on the beach, read by the pool and took the occaisional swim when we got too hot. Each evening we enjoyed one of the many amazing restaurants on the island. There are too many to mention and fortunately Cheryl provides you with a list of some of their favorites which are now some of ours. On this trip we discovered the Skull Creek Boathouse. Do not wait three years to try it like we did. This is our new favorite. Plan to wait and enjoy drinks and the atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. If the beach isn't enough, there is plenty of great shopping and plenty of other outdoor activities. I also suggest day trips to Savannah and Beaufort. Finally, we have used VRBO to book a number of vacations. We've worked with a number of really nice owners. The Shanks are the best. Not only have they created the perfect vacation spot, they are a wealth of information and so helpful if you have questions before and during your vacation. We are just so happy we found this perfect spot and look forward to many more vacations here in years to come.

Million Dollar View!

My husband & I just spent a week here at Breakers 316. It was everything that we saw here on the website. The condo was fabulous. It was ready for us at 10 am when we arrived. The keyless entry is wonderful. Not having to worry about keys all week was great. The condo was immaculate. It had everything furnished. I went to the grocery store across the street and was able to cook when we wanted to. I felt right at home immediately. The sun rises every morning were breathtaking! Drinking coffee and watching the sun rise is amazing! Working with Cheryl was so easy, She provided us with all the information quickly which made our vacation so relaxing. We enjoyed all of the recommendations from the wonderful restaurants to the bicycle rentals. We loved having the bikes at the condo. We rented from Bicycle Billys, another great recommendation. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The beach is spectacular. The ocean front view is a million dollar view! I would definitely recommend this condo! It delivers everything you can imagine for a relaxing vacation! Thank you Cheryl! Can't wait to come back next year!

Port Perry

Second visit to paradise!

My husband and I returned for the second time to this beautiful condo and were just as pleased as the first fact we have booked in for a 3rd visit next year! We have stayed in VRBO units all over the world and I spend a LOT of time researching so when I find a good one it is a keeper for us.

This unit delivers exactly what is advertised. It is clean, close to all amenities, has everything you need for cooking & most importantly to has a DIRECT ocean view! Our bike rentals were waiting for us when we arrived and we only got in our car twice during our visit because it was too far to cycle to the golf course with our clubs. If you like to cycle Hilton Head will be your paradise and if not you will find lots to do.

Cheryl is a pleasure to deal with and always available to answer questions. The only challenge is forcing yourself to leave!

Beach volleyball at the Holiday Inn Tiki Hut - an easy 5 minute beach walk. Shopping at Coligny Plaza and The Beach Market. Walking/running on the beach or bike paths. Biking on bike paths. Fishing off the beach into the ocean. There are loads of activities to do that Hilton Head offers in all their resorts.
