This large home has direct beach access in front plus soooo many spaces to hang together or privately for the ultimate flexibility (and sanity) for your beach vacation!
This home will host up to 14 total people maximum of ALL ages, and headcount must include any "visitors" even if they don't sleep over.
Flexible sleeping: King beds for 6 couples plus up to 2 more people in twins... or 12 separate beds for colleagues.
Ultimate convenience: order your groceries for delivery from Watsonville Safeway and coordinate with us to have them put in the fridge the day of your arrival! (Please note we opted out of "experiences" - no outside vendors providing services on site.)

Notes: • Electronic signature required on rental contract, and $300 security hold will be run prior to arrival. • Security cameras view outdoor spaces are also visible by public from road and beach. • The house is not easily wheelchair accessible - there are stairs from driveway into the house and to the beach. • Bonfires are not allowed on beach or property. This house and Pajaro Dunes are strictly No Smoking and no open fires. There are several designated smoking areas in the community, inquire with your host. • NO pets, no exceptions are permitted - Pet rules are enforced, violations are fined and required to vacate. This is a gated community with onsite security that will be monitoring unauthorized pets. • We do not host events or gatherings beyond the person maximum (all adults/kids included). Any groups involved with multiple homes should NOT plan on renting this house, it does not participate in multiple home situations. • We strictly enforce the maximum adult + kid headcount day and night, which includes adults and children and prevents day visitors that go above the total.

Roomy, welcoming home that’s ideal for families, located just steps from the water. It’s equipped with plenty of useful amenities and thoughtful extras, making the stay easy and comfortable. A wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beach.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had plenty of space for everyone and was perfect for a family getaway. Being so close to the ocean was a huge bonus. The home was also thoughtfully equipped with lots of useful supplies, which made everything feel simple and comfortable. We’d gladly stay here again!
Beautiful home across the street from the beach. Spacious accommodations for our multigenerational family of 14. Each family was responsible for cooking a meal so it was a vacation for everyone!Nice that it is so close to the beach so you can go back and forth to the home. Our family enjoyed walking the long stretch of beach in both directions and games at night. Half of the family enjoyed using the Boogie boards and catching the surf! We had amazing weather!Stacey, the owner was very responsive with answers to questions we had.

We instantly loved the house, and then the beach, and then the pickle ball courts, and the strawberries sold down the street. There was everything you could possibly want for our 7 days. The house was complete.

The house was perfectly fine. It accommodated the whole family just fine, and everyone had a great time. My only issue about this rental was with "Best of Dunes" who manages it. Every single communication from them was limitations, and what not to do. The only gracious message I received was an automated "Welcome" once I had arrived. I'm an adult. I understand we need to be respectful of the property and the neighbors. And I never gave any reason to doubt that I would be anything but respectful. But from day one, it was, "You can't have those dates because I won't make enough money", or, "You can't have a single other person there, even for the day", or, "Don't use too many paper towels", or, "Don't even slow down near a parking spot that isn't your ONE street spot". I get there are rules, but every single message was a new limitation, and had a negative tone, with nothing particularly courteous or welcoming, except, again, the automated messages. One thing all guests should know, is even if this place sleeps 14, or whatever it says, there are only spots for 3 cars at the house. Again, the house itself is good enough. But be prepared to be treated like a delinquent child.

The traveler's only feedback during his stay was an email "everything is wonderful." Nothing he puts in quotes was ever actually said but it's funny, even though it is meant to hurt our business after welcoming his large family into my home (I am the owner). I made his dates available by changing my own plans to stay because he said he had no flexibility. The traveler takes offense to basic HOA rules like park in marked spots. It's rare that guests have any issues with our community. As the homeowner, I personally made sure they could bring double the cars and park easily. This required communication about where to park nearby. We gladly made every effort to accommodate them - participating in dozens of emails with him and another family member about their requirements and issues prior to and during their stay. When they violated a basic HOA rule (the only one posted in the house), I intervened to avoid issues (easily). No one said don't use paper towels or anything at all, actually I responded in seconds when they couldn't find the unlimited trash bags under the kitchen sink. The 14 person maximum includes everybody and they did not get an exception to bring even more people in ... 14 is also the highest headcount maximum in the community. I treated this traveler as a higher priority than my own family by changing our family plans and being on call for them repeatedly over the holiday break.
My family came to spend Christmas and New Year at the house. We had 10 adults and 3 children, there was plenty of space in the house. Kitchen had everything to cook meals and there was enough room for everyone to sit at the table. Overall good place to stay.
Great location in a beautiful area. Weather was cool since it was on the coast. Inland temps are warmer.

Our family had the best time ever! Beach time every day just across the street from the Rental; Pickle Ball every day at the courts just down from the Rental. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys - all provided with the Rental. And best Host Manager throughout our stay! We'll definitely be back next Summer 2024.
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location was amazing! It was steps from the beach. The beach was perfect for the kids and very quiet. We saw beautiful sunsets every night.
The house was huge and very spacious! It was full of toys, games, and beach stuff. The kids were kept busy and we didn’t have to pack much.

Three grown children plus most of the families got together and had a great time at this roomy home. We walked 2 min to the beach several times, flew multiple kites, searched for shells, played in the waves and built a sand kingdom. so glad this gas had a great time, we were in close contact leading up to their arrival to answer all questions and make sure they had what they needed. Regarding checkout, the tasks are disclosed up front and involve making piles of used sheets, used towels, and washing and putting away used kitchenware. this is how we can focus on keeping the home spotless with our cleaning efforts and keeping the cleaning fee reasonable for this three-story seven bedroom four bath home.
We loved our week here as a family (18month old, 3,9,11yr kids) The house was clean, organized, and fully equipped for family beach living. The proximity to the beach was perfect for our daily walks, sand castle building, sea shell finding, and sea otter watching. The kids also loved riding scooters along the path in the neighborhood. Groceries and take-out/delivery was easy and close for pick ups in Watsonville & Capitola. We loved filling the week with memories, especially with the grandparents and grandkids.

We had a wonderful time at this house which was right across the street from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook fabulous meals. The extra refrigerator in the garage was used for all our extra beverages. We had enough bedrooms and beds for everyone to spread out comfortably. The kitchen/dining/living room is so open it's a great gathering place for everyone. This is a great place to stay for a large group. I would definitely stay her again.
Stacy has a wonderful home stocked with everything (even extra jackets for those “I don’t need a jacket”, kids). There are really three distinct areas for sleeping as well as a huge tables and area to gather. The beach is just over the hill! It isn’t inexpensive but it is worth more than money to have your whole family enjoying time together and alone. All of us from eight months to seventy two years had a great time thanks to all the forethought .

We grew up on the East Coast, where beachhouses on the ocean are fairly common. We had never seen such a thing in California. When we first came to Pajaro Dunes, it instantly felt like home.
