Great house! Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this charming house on a quiet street. Plenty of room and the walk out garage was great as was the large private back yard. Great for a relaxing fire. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Can't wait to come back. Kirk was awesome to work with. Stress free vacation!

Great vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

We had been planning a family trip to western Michigan and looking for a property that was nice, had amenities, and was in a great location for an affordable price was a challenge, but this property delievered! We are grateful to have found it. It was clean and had a cute, beachy feel. Would be great for groups of friends/family, as the upstairs is sort of one space with multiple divided sleeping areas so there is privacy but you're all together. The ceiling was pretty low up there in spots so would be ideal for kids and a little tight if you're tall so something to keep in mind depending on your group. One separate master bedroom downstairs. Easy walk to downtown. Longer but doable walk to the beach - also a trolley available and bikes in the garage to use! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Grand haven was a fun, quaint town and a great time!

Great home

  • 5 of 5

The best part of this delightful home is the owner! When we booked a long weekend did not realize it was Coast Gard week. Kirk still let us book! The home is wonderful. Clean and nicely decorated. Central air huge bonus. Two adults and four teenage boys and we had plenty of space. Private fenced backyard and a Garage to store bikes and beach things. Bike ride to downtown just minutes. Nicely located between downtown and all the businesses on US 31 but still in a quiet neighborhood. Great family vacation home. We will be booking again.

Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Had great communication with Kirk throughout the entire process. He had the home ready earlier in the day which was convenient. House was super clean and met our needs perfectly. Great fenced in yard for privacy and a nice cement patio which was great for sitting around as a family. Close to downtown and other shopping. My kids absolutely loved having a house for vacation instead of a hotel room. My 17 yr old son actually stated it was a great place to stay and felt it made our vacation. You cannot go wrong renting this property.

Great Owner!

  • 5 of 5

Booked a vacation with Kirk and the process was so smooth and easy. I ended up having a conflict for the weekend I booked and Kirk was so kind and understanding. We tried to pick a new date but he didn't have any left that worked so he refunding our money in full and even gave us a name of a friend who also rents in Grand Haven. Great guy! Will stay at his cottage if I'm ever in the area. He is great to work and communicate with.

Bike ride all over downtown

  • 4 of 5

Kirk was a very attentive owner, cared about us having a good stay. The house was spotless, and we rode our bikes all around the downtown area and to the state swimming beach (no fee if you ride your bike there). During the busy seasons, you will want to ride bikes instead of trying to find parking. Kirk has two bikes in the garage if you don't have your own bikes. If you can, watch the musical fountain. There is always a theme. There are a lot of nice restaurants and shopping all around Grand Haven. Make sure you play golf at the Grand Haven Golf Club -- beautiful treed course! You can rent boats, water skis, etc on the Pier.
