About the rental-
Just inside the front gate you enter a diverse garden where we cultivate a few organic fruits and vegetables. If you find these tempting, help yourself!
Stepping up to the enclosed porch, that laid-back California vibe engulfs you. Two 3 speed beach cruisers, beach chairs and boogie board are standing by!
Upon entering the front unit of the duplex you step into the living room and note that the floor plan flows into the dining room with it's original craftsman built-ins. Hardwood floors run throughout, wood burning fireplace, beautifully appointed furnishings, accessories, and a distinct art book collection will confirm that you have found your home away from home.
The den with Smart TV and comfy couch is off the living room. It features the original deep pocket door.
The bedroom is off the dining room and features an organic king mattress, a dresser, a closet and extensive shelving with a varied book collection.
The large kitchen is ready for preparing a quick and simple meal or a more gourmet spread as it is fully equipped with professional stainless steel appliances that include a Wolfe range, Viking refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher (Whole Foods and Erewhon Markets are just minutes away!). All cookware, cooking utensils and basic condiments are provided as well.
At the other end of the very spacious kitchen is the laundry area (hidden behind folding doors). Across from the washer and dryer is a table with chairs providing another place to eat, work or hang out.
Moving out the kitchen’s french doors you enter the very private back garden. First on to the deck where you can lounge, barbecue and dine al fresco.
As the sun goes down you’ll likely migrate to the very back of the yard to sit and enjoy the wood burning fire ring - perhaps with the perfect glass of wine!
This home will certainly appeal to the discerning traveler seeking an alternative to a boutique hotel.
