Features include stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, Master Suite, stainless steel appliances, two 42' flat screen TVs, satellite TV, wireless Internet, panoramic views, lakeside deck, gas grill and private pier, boats, paddle boat & canoe. We are located within walking distance to shopping, taverns, ice cream shops and mini golf. You may also bicycle directly from our property to the areas extensive paved trail system.

About Becky Prigge
I discovered the Boulder Junction area in 1978 and have been spending time there since. In 1994 my wife Sarah and I rented a cabin in the Resort of The Woods and spent the week on Boulder Lake along with our 2 children. We fell in love with the large quiet lake and bought the cabin the following year.

Why Becky Prigge chose Boulder Junction
Our cabin is about a 1/4 mile from Doolittle's, we had been watching the house slowly slip away with a lack of maintenance, we always liked the house and eventually purchased it with the intention of eventually having it as our retirement home. The home needed everything, it had no updates or proper care for years. Over the winter & spring of 2014 we did a 100% rebuild of the home. It has 100% new Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, cabinets, insulation, all flooring, all carpet, all appliances, all new baths, all new kitchen etc. A recent guest asked us if it was a new house or if we had remodeled it. It is a new house in every way. I am a builder and in doing all the work I did it with the intention of eventually living there. nearly all of the main level is done with locally milled knotty white pine walls. On site we made all the knotty White Pine trim from locally milled boards. The wood floor is also locally milled Red Pine. We are very proud of the home and are happy to make it available for others to enjoy.
What makes this House unique
What makes Boulder Lake so special is that it is unspoiled and mostly undeveloped. I would estimate that only 15 or 20% of the shoreline has homes on it. There are many peaceful bays for fishing, water skiing or just floating quietly.

Very nice lakefront property
This is a very nice and clean property that makes for a great family vacation. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat and canoe during the week (including a canoe trip to the far island for a picnic lunch). Several fish were caught while fishing off the dock. The area also has lots of great paved bike trails that are kid-friendly that we used. The basement has a "kids' suite" with bunk beds, a couch and a TV that our kids loved being in. There is also a second bedroom in the basement with a queen bed. The main level has the master suite with a bathroom, another bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bath. The upstairs level has four twin beds (note there is no door that closes off this space). The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pans, etc. and we cooked all of our meals there (or on the grill on the deck). A fire pit down by the lake was a great place to make s'mores. One minor area from improvement is better filtration for the water, which has a distinct well water taste. We just ended up buying lots of bottled water. Overall we had a great week and would recommend the property.

Great cabin in a great location
This was a great place to stay! It was clean, updated with a well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay. The canoes and kayaks were great to use to float down the river from Fishtrap Dam right to our cabin! The dock was great for our own boat. The lake is good for fishing and not a busy lake for tubing and skiing. It was a very enjoyable stay, including watching the deer walk through the yard each morning, and an easy walk right into town.
Beautiful cabin and great location
Very attractive and comfortable cabin with new appliances, dishes, pots and pans, bedding, etc. Kayaks and canoes are kept on the shore. The lake is good size and also quite quiet. We enjoyed cooking in. Great kitchen and dinning area and there are several good restaurants in Boulder as well as nice shops. You can ride bikes or walk to town easily. The area has the best bike trail system I have ever been on. So scenic. There are several State Forests for hiking within 10 miles. We look forward to coming back for cross country skiing.
This cabin was great for the three family's that stayed there. We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep and didn't even use the four beds in the upper level. Kids enjoyed the four kayaks and paddle boat that were used to explore the shallow water and nearby island. Overall we had a great time in this updated and clean cabin.
Great Vacation home, in a great location
This place is like staying in your friend's new home. Everything is new and well done.
It is on a quiet part of the edge of Boulder Lake with a great "Up North" feel. There are plenty of activities in this area. Between the new biking trails, hiking, and lakes, you can not run out of things to do.
Boulder Junction is the Musky Capital of the World and a quiet Northwoods resort community with classic charm and pristine natural beauty that is incomparable. There are 194 lakes within 9 miles of downtown; approximately 240,000 acres of lush forest; an extensive biking, hiking and snowmobiling trail system; great dining and unique shops. All rates based on 10 person occupancy. Charges will be incurred for additional Guests. Please contact Property Manager for an exact price quote. Off-Season rates are available. 1 week minimum reservation June 15 - August 15. Cancellation Policy: We will gladly refund your deposit less a $25 service fee, if cancellation is made at least 30 days in advance of arrival date. Late cancellations may be refunded if dates are re-booked. Please call for reduced last minute rates!
All reservations require a down payment of $1000, with balance due 14 days prior to arrival date. We accept cash, personal check and/or credit card payments.
