If you are looking for the perfect Escape to Paradise - a beautiful home in just the right spot along the ocean in Oahu - This is it!
This secluded, air conditioned, tastefully furnished, 2500 SF Ka'a'awa home can sleep 8-10 people in 3 bedrooms and a den. One lot from the water's edge and just a 2-minute walk to the local beach park, it is Hawaii as you imagined it - beautiful, lush, tropical, and quiet yet close to so many things. With the ocean in front and mountains in the back this is what Paradise in Hawaii is all about.
You'll have kayaks, boogey boards, 2 bikes and snorkel gear at your disposal. Go kayaking or snorkeling right in front of the house.
And when it comes to relaxing and unwinding you will have plenty of room inside and out with the beautiful, professionally landscaped yard. Stunning vistas and tropical plants surround you from every angle and window. And those double pane windows and the foliage surrounding the home ensure no road noise bothers you, unlike many other local ocean front properties. Open the upstairs windows and listen to surf break on the reef. Stretch out on the 400 sf covered lanai and let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep.
Located in the quiet and quaint (No Traffic!) village of Kaaawa on the Windward Coast which lies midway between Kaneohe and Laie (the start of the North Shore), you'll be just 2 minutes from Kaaawa Beach Park or Kahana Bay State Park, 5 minutes from Kualoa Ranch and Chinaman's Hat Island and 15 minutes from the world famous Polynesian Cultural Center. You can also go hiking in mountains behind Kaaawa, Crouching Lion and in Kahana Bay State Park. Experience Hawaiian living and customs at Kahana. See their Cultural Gardens and learn how Hawaiians survived and thrived from the Mountains to the Ocean Reef. Easy calm kayaking in Kahana Stream, one mile away, or in shallow ocean just across the street. No traffic...seriously...this can be a big issue along the North Shore
So if you are looking to have an authentic Hawaiian experience surrounded by ocean, mountains, jungle and beaches, Escape to Paradise is the place for you.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We loved being welcomed with all the goodies: the fresh pineapple, the chocolates, and bottled water. We are a family of six adults and there was so much room for us to spread out and relax. We were so appreciative of all the supplies available., You thought of our every need, We used it all! - the Kayaks, snorkel gear, beach equipment and more made our trip; so easy and enjoyable,. We are thankful it was so well-labeled and well though out so we didn't have any trouble locating or using it. We also truly enjoyed relaxing on the lanai. It was quiet and serene - taking in all the lush surroundings. The wild chickens were perfect entertainment! We felt we had an awesome experience because of your great tips about where to go for the beach, food and local points of interest. Thanks again for making our vacation a memorable, pleasurable and adventurous experience.

Your Home is Beautiful! We knew right away this was going to be the perfect vacation home. As we walked up and saw the warm colorful lanai we looked at each other and thought, "Wow!" A big thank you for opening up your home to us, as we have memories to treasure for the rest of our lives, Robert and Hilary were gracious and welcoming, They were both so helpful. We had so much fun on Oahu, especially snorkeling in Turtle Bay, Hanauma Bay and Sharks Cove. Thank you for providing the snorkeling gear! After spending a day in Honolulu as "tourists" it was sooo nice to "come home" to Paradise and relax. Hopefully we'll be able to return soon, With love and Mahalo, Don, Yuki, Denise, Dean, Marie and Darren. PS we admire all your accolades and we thank you for your many years of Service.

Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us! We have had a wonderful time visiting with our friends and doing a lot of sightseeing and enjoying great food. We have been planning and anticipating this for several months and we weren't disappointed in any way. Robert was very gracious and he welcomed us and felt right at home immediately. Time has bone by so quickly but we will remember our time in your beautiful home for many years to come.

Aloha Y'all! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with our family,. I think our favorite part was the lanai! We used it many nights to get together with our family from the other house. We did lots of sightseeing and enjoyed being out of the city.
Mahalo, The Barbers, from Georgia. April, 2016
Mahalo for making us feel so welcome in your beautiful home. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here in Hawaii, and your hospitality has been an important part of that! Our mother served a LDS mission with our father, who has now passed on, at the Laie Temple more than 20 years ago. This was her first time to return since then, and her memories of that wonderful time in their lives have been fulfilled many times over. All 8 of us have truly enjoyed this past week and we are very appreciative of all you have done for us in making your Paradise available to us. We know that it has been an inconvenience for you. We thank you for making this week comfortable and memorable!

Aloha! During these four amazing, majestic trip of Hawaii at your gorgeous house it was a blessing. Thank you for this amazing journey. The house is beautiful next to the beach. Hawaii is so beautiful because of this organized house. It was the perfect location with a beautiful scenery of a beach, and a horse ranch. We went to many locations that have many enjoyable shows. What a wonderful place to stay at. It was very comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Thanks for all the little amenities and the assortment of books on Oahu and Hawaii. This place made our stay very enjoyable. Had a wonderful time at the house - feels like a home. Magical views. Loved it.
Thanks and Blessings,The Oteros - Oct 2015
Short but great stay. Weather up and down and we caught a great storm down near the Valley of the Temples. Spent most of our time up on the North Shore - great beaches and roadside food options. Kids loved jumping off the rock at Waimea, though yesterday we had to leave the water for a confirmed shark sighting. Sharks Cove was great for sheltered snorkeling. Made one trip south. The scenery was great down to Kaneohe then we cut across to Lanakai. The Chinese Temple at Valley of the Temples was very peaceful. The house was great - like staying with family. So glad we didn't end up in a hotel. Hope to be back here one day.

Many thanks from the Vondrak Family from California and the Czech Republic. I think it is fair to say we have never seen such a beautiful and tastefully decorated vacation home. This place is truly magical. To future visitors: I really recommend to visit the State Park in Kahana Bay. There's a Hawaiian guy there who will show you around and offer you some fresh fruits from the tree. He's quite a character - you will see him there. Also big thanks to the neighbor up the drive who saved us from a flat tire with his air pump. It's really a lovely neighborhood around here.
Best Wishes, the Vondraks, California and Prague, Czech Rep. Aug 2015

The Willoughby Family from NSW, Australia have enjoyed your home immensely. "Escape to Paradise" was warm and welcoming from the moment we entered it. We have had some unforgettable memories here that we will cherish and take back to Australia. We met Kahala from Kahana as you suggested and he generously showed us his garden. We climbed up the mountain and enjoyed the view. The Kaaawa area is very beautiful and so are its people. We have soaked up the beautiful Hawaiian atmosphere, soaked up the sun and dipped in it's waters. But the most wonderful memories will be swimming with the Sea Turtles ... wonderful lovely memories.
