Private 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms Home. Centrally Located On A Three Acre Estate

Centrally located on a beautiful green three acre estate on the slopes of Hualalai (right above the historical Kailua Kona) this private, cozy home is truly a gem. The entire property is fenced with a front entrance gate. Giving you the ultimate worry free vacation home. The yard has been known to be called a park with our large green yard and boarding trees offering up lots of fun for outside activities! This home is truly a piece of paradise, feeling worlds away from the heat and humidity of downtown Kailua Kona but with the convenience of being only a ten minute drive to restaurants and shopping. The vacation rental itself is far away from the main house down a separate very long driveway. Making this property perfect for lots of privacy for an enjoyable get away for families, couples and friends. With nearly a constant year round temperature in the 80's during the day and a cool 70's during the evening with the sound of soothing crickets and coqui frogs in the distance it is the perfect elevation for a comfortable tropical setting. Our home is walking distance from hiking, biking and horseback riding. You will truly enjoy the walks through our neighborhood or if you wish just relax and be greeted with the sounds of birds chirping while enjoying breezes from the cool trade winds, it's a natures lover's paradise. If it is peace you are looking for then this is the ideal location for you, whether taking an evening walk or BBQ outside taking in the view- our home offers a beautiful Hawaiian setting. You will feel comfort in knowing the quality details that were put into our home were made to make you feel special. From the comfortable beds to the televisions in every room, to the Hawaiian pictures making you feel one with the aina (island/land) along with a peaceful sitting/dining area outside.

More about our home..

Our home is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house which sleeps 9. Two queen size beds (Sleeps 2 each), A bunk bed with one twin and one full size bed (Sleeps 3 total) and a pull out couch with a queen size mattress (Sleeps 2).

The fully equipped Kitchen, with all you need to create your own meals. A dining room and living room (with a 60 inch flat screen television)-all are located in an open concept room with large windows, overlooking the yard with a view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets.

The master bedroom has a 40 inch flat screen television, along with a queen size bed with a three inch memory foam topper with plush pillows and an alternative down comforter. The master also has a full bath including a 5 foot Jacuzzi tub/shower great for relaxing after a long day of excursions visiting the active volcano, deep sea fishing or swimming in the ocean.

The second bedroom has its own 40inch flat screen television. The room is also furnished with a queen size bed with a three inch memory foam topper with plush pillows and an alternative down comforter. The Master and 2nd bedroom both have bluetooth alarm clocks of which you can plug your phone into the back and listen to your playlist from individually or both bedrooms at once.

The second bathroom (located off the living/dining room) offers a soaking tub/shower for other guests to enjoy.

The third bedroom is equipped with supreme bunk beds, there is a full size mattress on the bottom and a twin size mattress on the top- great for 3 people to sleep comfortably, this bedroom also has a 32 inch flat screen television as well.

The fourth bedroom includes a Queen-sized sofa sleeper with a 3 Inch Memory Foam mattress pad- for two additional guests, it also has two leather reclining chairs, which are incredibly comfortable while enjoying television on the 60 inch flat screen. In the closet of this room we also have a brand new washer/dryer- we do offer laundry soap tablets.

*Please Note* There are flat screen televisions in every room and they are all equipped with Direct TV including HBO, Cinemax, Stars and Showtime. The fourth bedroom also has a Blue Ray/ DVD player (The nearest red box rental is five minutes away at Top Matsuyama's). Our home also offers a home telephone with local & long distance (International calling available with additional charge) along with high speed internet (WIFI).

Outside we have a professional Char Grill BBQ, (Propane Gas). We also have a nice sitting area and a dining table to enjoy relaxing outside while listening to the native birds chirping with the scent of plumerias in the air (when in season) or at night admiring the bright Kona stars as you take in our tropical retreat.

Check out is at 11 AM and check in is at 4:00 PM, for Early check ins or late check out's- Please check with owner, times may be changed per availability/request.

I have lived in Hawaii for approximately 9 years, I moved to Hawaii in 2007 and right away I fell in love with the Island and what it had to offer. From the beautiful beaches to the warm ocean water to the amazing hikes through the tropical forest, to traveling though all the different climates. I met my wife Morgan, in 2010. Morgan and I love relaxing outside and enjoy our evening walks with our gentle giant dog, Anu. We hope our rental will offer you the ultimate Hawaii vacation and our Aloha will be seen throughout our home.

Our home is located at a wonderful cool elevation of 1600 ft, It is truly the best of both worlds- Sunny days with cooler nights for comfortable sleeping. This home has been newly renovated and offers all the modern amenities with ample amounts of space and privacy you are sure to feel the comforts of home on vacation. Only ten minutes to downtown Kailua Kona and fifteen minutes to the beach or the airport.

Beautiful, spacious home on lovely property

Clean and well equipped home with plenty of room for a large family. Friendly and helpful hosts who welcomed us warmly. Love the new deck and sliding glass doors! No AC necessary with fans in almost every room.

This House is AMAZING! THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT!!! Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

I have been to The Big Island of Hawaii several times. I have tried probably 30 Vacation Rental Homes everywhere and this home Is by far my absolute favorite! I have stayed pretty much everywhere on the Big Island and this homes location is perfection! The owners are so nice and attentive if you need anything yet give you plenty of space and privacy. This home is a quick 10 minute drive to Alii Drive to where all the shops, restaurants and beaches are- this location is amazing! The home was spotless and very clean! There are two houses on the property which is what I was a little worried about but once I saw it there probly two acres away from each other so plenty of privacy for a relaxing vacation! They have a beautiful gazebo with a big table for dining and lounge chairs for getting some sun. The elevation is amazing, I have stayed on Alii Dr and it is Hot and Muggy all the time and some vacation rental homes claim they have ac but its only in one room and its usually a small unit or broken given the usage I'm sure, not to mention the traffic and tons of sketchy people roaming the streets. This home all though it didn't have Ac, you didn't need it. It was at least 10-15 degrees cooler then in town and especially at night! This house was also stocked with tons of beach items, a gas bbq grill and tons of kitchen supplies! Including a rice maker, crockpot and a blender! And the beds! The beds are soooo comfortable!!! All I can say is this is the one you want, this house is amazing! I will absolutely come back! Thank you for being such great hosts! Aloha!!!

Better than expected!

The owners were more than helpful and available as they met us late (close to midnight) on the night we arrived). The house was very clean and set up almost like a hotel. Little extras like travel size shampoos in the bathrooms was a nice touch.

It was also very nice to have access to beach toys and towels to use while in Hawaii.

We plan to book this one next year as it is in a great location and up on the side of the mountain with a killer view.
