Rancho Antigua community is located in Central Scottsdale. We are minutes from Waste Management Open and Barrett Jackson, Malls, Restaurants, Golf Courses, Hiking. Minutes form Old Town Scottsdale which has tons of unique shops, restaurants, museums and galleries. If your here during spring training catch a game at Salt River Fields about 5 minutes away. If you are here during Basketball, Hockey, Football or Baseball season we are only about 20 minutes to downtown Phoenix and 30 to Glendale to catch a football game. I think you get the point... We are close to everything...

What makes this condo unique

Rancho Antigua is one of those unique communities in that it sits on a Green Belt. Yep that's right we have grass in the desert... The Pima/ Indian Bend Wash path is a multi use path that is 18 miles long and will take you all the way to Tempe Town Lake. It is amazing to be able to wake up in the morning and take a walk and be greeted by all the other walkers, bikers, roller bladders etc. Make sure you check it out during your stay.

Awesome location, great community and close to everything. This was my first experience booking through VRBO and had a lot of questions. Owner was very patient and helpful. Booking was simple. This condo is amazing had everything we needed and then some. Very quite and clean community.



Have already spoke to owner and booked my stay for next year. Would recommend this condo to friends and family.

Excellent short-term rental!

My family of 5 stayed in this property for over 2 weeks while we were waiting for our new home to close escrow. It was a fantastically-equipped condo with everything we needed to live our daily lives. We weren't on vacation, so we settled in and cooked, did laundry, and even cleaned - all the supplies we needed to do these things were fully stocked and we didn't experience any shortages. Kids loved watching cable and the wi-fi was also a perk we did not have any issues with. Seasons changed while we were there and used both the AC and heat, which both cooled and heated nicely. Location of this unit was perfect, tucked in away from the parking lot, close to a nice grassy knoll for our dog, and near the pool and fitness center, both of which we used. Overall community was quiet and serene, despite its proximity to the 101. Accessibility to the greenbelt was also ideal. We took several walks to the park and went for a few runs as well. The greenbelt is a must for a scenic and peaceful walk! Overall location is super convenient - close to the 101, and lots of shopping. Can't say enough good things about this property, plus the homeowner was great to work with and extremely responsive. A great experience all around!

Lovely condo but noisy furnace

We really liked the condo and basic amenities. Our weather was cold while we were there so the furnace ran a lot and was very noisy. Our only real issue.

The pool and gym were both very close and the development was both quiet and friendly. I would definitely recommend this location for couples.

The kitchen was equipped fairly well. We could have used a whisk but that is a small detail.

First off, this is quite a nice condo.Tho close to the 101 and there is some traffic noise on the patio, it is very quiet inside, but the owner needs to pay a LOT more attention to the quality of service and amenities.Was told I would get access instructions 48 hours ahead of Mon check in, got nothing.Sent email on Sun,got no response.Finally a text message on Mon resulted in very basic instructions: unit number, lock box and where to park (but stall number was wrong). The property is somewhat complex and most unit numbers aren't visible--building number and plot plan should have been provided in advance. There is a plan at the entry but didn't see it until later as a truck was parked in front of it when we arrived. and with the wrong stall number we weren't able to focus our search. Key worked poorly in the front door so used the side door throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were undoubtedly the worst we have ever had to use -- cheap and lumpy.Bed linens were bleach splotted, towels were thin, and both stained and bleach splotted. No beach size towels for pool. D/W not run before we arrived, spills in the fridge that I had to clean up. There was a complete absence of info helpful to tourists -- most VRBO hosts provide a selection of info including maps, list of nearby services such as grocery and liquor stores, pharmacy, etc. Typically hosts also give recommendations for restaurants and other attractions, but there was nothing. Info re pool and fitness centre hours and rules would have been appreciated, also what was accepted in the recycle bin and where trash and recycle located in the complex. Info could all be put in an email and sent in advance. Small rubber door stops on cabinets have mostly fallen off so doors tend to slam when closed. Clearly no one has done a recent inventory of the kitchen, as what is there is wholly inadequate - 4 knives, 4 teaspoons, a few more forks,1 liquid cup measure that leaks. Pots and pans OK, but there was not ONE dish that could be used in the oven.Even the roasting pan that presumably came with it was missing.There were a few plastic re-usable containers but obviously not oven-safe. Only 1 decent sized tea towel and a couple small ones.Toaster cancel button didn't work, so have to unplug it. No broom. Shower control knob broken. Owner did respond to our complaint re plugged drain promptly. Overall, hard to recommend this at present unless amenities significantly improved.

Upon review of the unit we found that the cleaning company was not correctly inventorying and letting us know what was needed to make our guests stay a great one. We have had many positive reviews by previous guests who have now booked their stay with us for their next vacation. We do our best to provide a great experience and apologize for any inconvenience there may have been. Had we been made aware of the issues regarding the lack of items we would have promptly taken care of everything for you as we did with the repairs. Thank you!!!

If you like to shop, try out new restaurants, play Golf you will enjoy staying in the community of Rancho Antigua. Rancho Antigua also has 3 spas and pools, sauna, tennis court, fitness center, charcoal grills and also a gas grill located by the club house. Book yours stay, you will be glad you did!!!
