Super cute cottage

  • 5 of 5

We were in town for a weekend of wedding planning and were on the go the whole time so did not get to utilize the great location of this house, but it is a great house in a great spot. Pictures don't do it justice. I loved this cottage and decor. Bed was very comfortable with soft sheets. I would love to return to experience the charm of Hendersonville one day and will happily book this cottage again. Thank you Walter!

Cute and comfortable cottage

  • 4 of 5

My husband, labradoodle, and I really enjoyed this cozy rental while visiting Hendersonville. The decor is modern and inviting, and Walter added a lot of personal touches for guests’ comfort and convenience, like an easily accessible surge protector for our nighttime chargers, plenty of lamps (including two above the bed for reading), a bowl on the dresser for jewelry, plush towels, a comfortable bed and pillows, and a notebook full of tips and instructions. The kitchen seemed well-stocked, but we really only used one glass. He even has extra dog bowls, if needed. Most importantly, Apple Tree Cottage was clean. We could tell it was well cared for.

This cottage is an ideal location from town. It’s just 0.4 miles from downtown, or about a 10 minute walk. Asheville is a mere 30-35 minute drive away, too. Parking is a bit cramped at the house, with a narrow, shared driveway and small carport for parking. My medium SUV barely fit in the carport, so if you have a larger car, you may have to park on the street. But it seemed like a safe neighborhood, so don’t let that deter you from renting this adorable place.

While it’s not fenced, the front yard is grassy, allowing for a perfect place for pets to relieve themselves. It rained most of the time we were there; otherwise, we would have enjoyed relaxing on rockers on the front porch.

The cottage says it sleeps four, but only two can sit comfortably on the small loveseat off the bedroom where the TV is located. There is a larger family room at the front of the house for relaxing, but it doesn’t have a TV. Cable and WiFi worked fine when we were there.

We had an issue getting the air conditioning to work after the first day, and Walter promptly had his A/C company call us to troubleshoot the problem.

If we return to Hendersonville, we would definitely rent this cottage again!

Darling pet friendly cottage within walking distance to town

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to stay for a few days that would also accommodate our 2 small dogs. We sure hit the jackpot with Walter’s cottage. The minute we walked in the front door we felt very much at home. It was beautifully decorated, fully stocked , very clean, and the most comfortable mattress you could ever imagine. The t.v. had a great picture, the carport was a plus, and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe.

We had an awesome few days.

Many thanks Walter.

A Great Place To Explore From

We spent 12 days in this house and felt very comfortable. I can't add much to what others have written except that I was surprised how well supplied the house was.
