Perfect secluded getaway❤️
Decided to come to gatlinburg for our honeymoon. After searching for the best looking cabin we came across this one! It was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Everything worked as it should. Very clean. And very relaxing! 15 minutes from both gatlinburg strip, and pigeon forge strip. Will be back again in the future 😊
The cabin was perfect! It was clean, bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms were Amazing, the kitchen was stocked with everything that you would need to cook or grill! I would definitely stay at this cabin again! Very spacious! You will not be disappointed with this cabin!
Upon arrival we discovered that the hot tub jets were not functioning properly but it was taken care of within the hour. Our party of four adults and two children had plenty of room. Both beds were quite comfortable. The pull out mattress was not comfortable but I have yet to find one that is. It was nice and clean but not immaculate. There were spiders making homes here and there in the windows and the fans were a little dusty but I didn't feel the need to have to clean anything including the bathrooms which is a first for me. The stove, microwave, and all the other kitchen amenities were in great condition and there is a decent amount of cookware to use. Location of the cabin is great. Easy to get to downtown Gatlinberg and the park also not far at all from Pigeon Forge. It was a wonderful time running about the area then returning to the cabin and relaxing in the hot tub. I look forward to returning here and would recommend this cabin to anyone.
Fun, spacious cabin
Our family of 4 really enjoyed Moonshine Ridge. The kitchen and living area are really spacious. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and the hot tub and pool table kept us entertained while in the cabin. Great location near Gatlinburg, but up away from the business of town. Would benefit from having some extra towels for the spa, but overall very well equipped and personal feeling. Megan was a great help in recommending hiking areas for us to explore, and we enjoyed the fun activities in Gatlinburg as well. The mountain coaster was really fun, although a bit pricey. Find some coupons before you go.
VERY MISLEADING! RENTERS BEWARE!!!
My family stayed at Megan's cabin April 3-10 3016
When we arrived to what we thought was going to be a very nice cabin we were wrong. In the pictures of the place it shows a playset for the little ones and a recreational center. It is very misleading because they are not close by. I messaged Megan to ask where the playset was at and she stated it was at least a half a mile away and she would check to see if they were open or not and she would get back to me in the morning. Needless to say, the center is only open from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
The cabin is not clean whatsoever! As soon as we walked in you could see many things that were not clean. The floors were filthy! Luckily I found a bottle of 409 under the kitchen sink. I had to clean the kitchen table before we could sit down as a family to have a meal. There were dirty pots and pans in the island cupboards. The toilet seat in the master bathroom was broken! I had to message Megan to have someone fix it! I had to scrub the jacuzzi tub and shower because you could see that they were not cleaned from the previous people that had stayed. There is an ant issue in the bathroom as well around the jacuzzi tub!
The blankets that were on the bed in the master bedroom had blood stains on them! Talk about disgusting!!!!
The fireplace does not work and there is no remote to the tv in the living room.
The upstairs bathroom had to be cleaned as well. Very dusty throughout the whole place!
You get charged a cleaning fee for a dirty place that you end up having to clean....NOT COOL!!!
I even contacted Megan and asked her if she would refund us a cleaning fee and she refused!!!
You have to go outside and around to the back of the cabin to get to the laundry room which is not kept up either.
The hot tub would've been nice if it was regularly checked. After a couple days with no chemicals, the water was turning green and had a bad odor of algae. My husband had to drain and refill the tub and I had to ask for chemicals!
So if you are considering this cabin for a nice getaway or vacation BEWARE!!!
I only gave this a 1 star rating because it would not allow me to leave it at no stars!
We are planning on going back to The Great Smoky Mountains in the fall but we will definitely not stay here!!!
Very sorry this renter felt this way, can say i have rented this cabin out to over 400 different guest and this is the first negative person i have had. A lot of very untrue statements about the cabin.
A great cabin for our long weekend in the Smokies! The location allowed us to have a clear shot to the National Park and bypass the craziness of downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, and the grill was handy. And the hot tub was great after a long day of hiking!
