Rent a kayak or boat and take advantage of seeing this area from the water. Camp Leott Sunfish is a newly renovated and beautifully maintained first floor unit very close to the water. Sunfish has a fully equipped kitchen with attractive granite counter tops and a glass tile back splash, microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, and more, a 3/4 bath with private dressing area, king bed, dining table and chairs, side chair and covered outdoor deck. Why Leah Fitzpatrick chose East Boothbay
I have been in love with Maine since I first saw a photograph in my fifth grade geography book! The history and landscape are beautiful. Once we met the people of this region we knew we had to live here. We had been looking at real estate resources for many months. One morning my husband said 'honey, I think I found something in Boothbay but I don't know if you will like it' One look at the beautiful sunsets and gorgeous water view and I said ' Let's call and book a flight!' As we drove from Portland to Boothbay we were more and more enthralled with the region and the beauty and the food as we stopped to eat the lobster rolls!! We were certain that it couldn't get any better. As we drove through Wiscassete (The Prettiest Village in Maine) we were touched by the quaintness of this village and the beautiful Sheepscott River, once we entered Boothbay and drove past the General Store there was no stopping!! We made it down Ocean Point road and turned onto the road into Waters Edge just at Sunset!! Wow! What a sight! We were home!! Now, we always make certain we get there in time to purchase our groceries and wine at the grocery store on the way in to be able to get back home in time for the first sunset of our stay. We never get tired of the music, dancing, wonderful food, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We have made many friends in our short time in this area. We have explored the nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, Wiscassete, Edgecomb, Damariscotta, Camden, Hollowell, and Castine but always are so happy to return to this very quiet and serene place on the water. Ahhh Heaven!!

Clean and cute in a beautiful spot! The only thing we would have liked was a fire pit or fireplace but just because the weather was perfect and cold and we wanted to stay outside at night!
Loved it! Beautiful views from covered deck!
We enjoyed our stay! The area has so much to see and do and of course fresh lobster!!!
The room is small but it doesn’t feel that way. Bed is very comfortable and the dressing room has lots of shelves, hooks and storage for your belongings! Full kitchen is very cute, we loved sitting on covered deck just outside of room every morning and enjoying a glass of wine while watching sunset ~ beautiful!
Quiet Relaxing and very comfortable. Perfect location
Everything is new and clean. Perfect view and very quiet.
Great location, beautiful property
We enjoyed our stay immensely! The best part was having the private dock and pier available for watching gorgeous sunsets. The bed was super comfortable, and everything worked well. It does have the “bare minimum” as far as supplies go in the bathroom. Just a block of soap provided, so make sure you bring what you need (shampoo, etc). The kitchen has basic pots and pans but no dry supplies are provided - grab coffee and sugar before you arrive. It is a small space, and I will say we could overhear our neighbors quite a bit so know that privacy is limited. The harbor is just a 10 minute drive away - easy to stop in for meals or walking. Overall a great visit and we look forward to our next trip to Boothbay!
Great place to stay! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I hope to visit this area again and we would most certainly stay here.
Perfect setting for a Maine getaway
We loved the room as a home base to all the area has to offer. It is very small. That being said, it’s updated with high quality features, very modern kitchen and barhroom. Very comfortable bed. We made breakfast every morning and sat outside at the table on the porch where we could look at the water and boats. Parking was super convenient. The small waterfront access was great for wading and finding shells. We took advantage of the area and went on a whale watching tour, visited the botanical gardens (a must see - world class), several top notch restaurants, small conservation parks for hiking and exploring the waterfront. Truly a relaxing vacation!
