Two bedroom, two bathroom log cabin, with modern amenities in a charming setting
Originally built in the early 1900s, this cabin has been owned and lovingly maintained by the same family for over 50 years. One bedroom features a queen bed, and the other has twin beds which can be converted into a king. Each bedroom has its own bath, one of which features the original claw footed tub. Soaring ceilings anchored by an enormous stone fireplace give the cabin a spacious feel, while a large screen TV and internet access bring modern amenities. A wide porch provides the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning or cocktails at night, while enjoying a view of the mountains and pond. Hike the ridge behind the cabin and find yourself in protected state forests of the Mount Greylock reservation, with a host of hiking trails from which to choose. The town of Williamstown, with numerous restaurants, a world class museum and popular summer theater is a 10 minute drive (5 miles) away.

Great June Berkshire Stay
Hello. We stayed at this wonderful, rustic cabin while we were visiting Mass MOCA for the Solid Sound Festival and to see a show at the Williamstown Theater Festival. We would like you to know that we enjoyed the home and the setting very much. It was a pleasure to ride through the woods to the log cabin sanctuary at the end of a day of events and travel. The first morning when we were there, a chipmunk greeted us like a Disney character on the back porch. A few days later, we saw a deer peeing in the stream near your house. (I have never before seen nor thought that they did that, but it makes sense as they probably do not want to leave a scent.) And then, a few days after that, there was a bear loping across the lower area of your driveway. We have never seen a bear in the wild before. All of this was very exciting. Being in this charming property amidst the forest and yet being close enough to drive through fabulous landscapes to see culture at its best and to visit places like the Field Farm…. well, all of this, plus the lovely mountains, trees, glorious summer skies, well-maintained house, and picturesque décor was altogether a wonderful experience. We want to thank you for helping us to have such a delightful time.
Wonderful peaceful getaway
This charming two bedroom cabin serves multi purposes. It is a peaceful escape from a busy world or a local resting place while exploring Williamstown and the Berkshires. The owners have taken great care to renovate the building while keeping the rustic feeling. It works perfectly. Highly recommended.
It would be hard to find a more comfortable sanctuary in the Berkshires---quiet and isolated but only a couple of miles from college, theater, Clark. Clean, green, cozy
Charming and relaxing
This lovely, well appointed cabin was a perfect gathering place for our merry band. The surroundings are gorgeous and the front porch is welcoming.
Wonderful Gem Just Far Enough from Spring Street
A group of us stayed here for our Williams 35th Reunion and we all agreed it was absolutely the best thing to do. It's a wonderful cabin, with a great old stone fireplace (which we did not need to use because it was June). The road and surroundings are quite peaceful and the front porch invited conversation among old friends catching up. It's a very nice home, authentic with age, but also with a new addition with an extra bedroom and a separate bath. Without exception, all of our friends who stayed and those who visited for evening drinks thought it was a gem. Highly recommended!
A small group of us back for our 35th Williams Reunion stayed at the Cabin. It is a wonderful place - we relaxed on the porch, hiked on the trails, and enjoyed the beautiful setting. And it is so close to town that we had the best of both worlds. I highly recommend and plan to return.
Williamstown is home to Williams College, the Clark Art Museum and the renowned Wiliamstown Summer Theater. The town features restaurants and shops, tennis courts, and hiking and biking trails in and around the town. The area is a destination for road biking enthusiasts.
