This charming cape is located between Kennebunkport Village and Cape Porpoise, a lobster fishing village. The house is on a 0.8 acre lot, so there is plenty of place to play and it is far enough from the main road so kids can play safely without having to worry about cars. There is also a swing set, and a slide. We built a sunroom with a bucolic view on surrounding pastures. At night, we can view the stars in the sky or the fireflies outside. In summer, we enjoy the screened gazebo built in the shadow which is certainly the best place to eat. The house is close to the two main beaches in Kennebunk/Kennebunkport, Gooch's and Goose Rocks Beach. Each is very different and worth visiting. When looking at tidal pools, you can find young lobsters (which we once found shedding its shell), crabs, sand dollar, sea stars and Hermit crabs. Sea glass can also be found nearby. The pier in Cape Porpoise with a view of the lighthouse is also worth a visit.
