About Jeff

Having traveled the depths of the gorgeous Tuscan countryside in Italy to the exotic coasts of Thailand to some of the busiest metropolitan areas including New York City, Paris, and Sydney, my appetite for new and exciting life experiences is insatiable!

What's more, as an interior designer, I can't help but absorb all of the wonderful culture, art, and beauty that my travel adventures bring.

Yet, wherever I go, I always think to myself 'I can't wait to get home' when I'm on that plane ride back. This is why I call sunny San Diego my home. I hope you will enjoy it too while you are here.

Jeff purchased this apartment in 2014

Location is everything when you're on vacation. This place is situated perfectly within walking distance of the Hillcrest neighborhood and all of its charm, character, restaurants, nightlife, and shopping, but is still within a residential area that is quiet and peaceful with plenty of parking.

What makes this apartment unique

It's been upgraded very carefully to retain all of its unique characteristics while still accommodating the modern day traveler to ensure the most comfortable, convenient, and relaxing experience while living there.

Comfortable and conveniently located

  • 4 of 5

Loved staying here! So close to shops, restaurants and Balboa park. The location is perfect. Comfortable space and beds. Jeff was quick to reach out and make sure our needs were met. The only thing I suggest is to bring a fan or sound machine if you're a light sleeper. We did hear the guests in the 2 other units, but it wasn't an issue for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

very nice place

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in this place during the Christmas and New Year holidays. It was a wonderful period. The place is well decorated, in a nice neighborhood. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance. If you want make dinner at home, there is an interesting farmer market nearby. As we appreciate to have dinner at home, the only not so good was the tableware. The kitchen could have some more tableware (plates, cutlery, mugs, in porcelain) and this would make a much nicer dinner table and ease the use of microwave. But no doubt, we would stay again in such nice place. Jeff was quick to respond our emails and was very kind answering our phone calls.

Convenient and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

Great location and very comfortable. We found plenty of food and drink options close by as well as a really cool coffee house, Lestat. I went there daily to get my mother in law and I coffee and pastries.

The beds here were very comfortable and we enjoyed the garden area out back too. The host was very accommodating and quick to get back to us when we contacted him.

Enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again.

Hillcrest haven!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a long weekend and wished we could have stayed longer! After spending all day and evening running around to all the great places in San Diego, we had a lovely retreat to come back to. First, it's in a fantastic location - close to downtown Hillcrest and certainly walkable. The apartment was comfortable and Jeff left us a nice bottle of wine and snacks to greet us when we arrived. The bed and bedding were super comfortable and the place was immaculate. Plus the kitchen is thoughtfully organized and equipped for making coffee in the morning and sipping it in the courtyard behind the house. Can't say enough about how awesome this home is and what an incredibly amazing host that Jeff is. We'll be back!!!
