About Ron Walken

Professional couple, mid-life,

Ron Walken purchased this studio in 2010

Why Ron Walken chose Seattle

Because it is a a classic "million dollar row" 80 year old home we have restored to its original grandness and created this suite for our out of town friends... so we are offering it as a short term rental when we we are not using it.

5 stars for this perfect studio apartment !!!

  • 5 of 5

We highly recommend this studio apartment in the Fremont/Green Lake area. You will not be disappointed by how clean this studio apartment is kept. The pictures are true to what you will find when you arrive. The murphy bed was a perfect surprise for the room. We were visiting out daughter, who lives with roommates, so it was really nice that the studio had a sitting area for our family to visit after a day of exploring. We would stay in this studio again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful place! Great location! Nice owners!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed there for more than 2 weeks. We had home cooked meals with all the utensils needed. It was the perfect place to just hide away and enjoy.

Even Better Than Advertised

  • 5 of 5

Stayed a week visiting family and friends. Price was right and location was perfect. Several good coffee shops, nice market, bus stops, all within less than half a mile walking distance. Ron was very friendly and helpful. He recommended a really good place for breakfast that was a short walk away. The suite was clean, neat, quiet and perfect for the two of us. Bus and train system makes most of Seattle attractions very easy to get to. We stayed the week and never bothered to rent a car.

Quaint, clean and comfortable suite in a quiet and convenient location.

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I rented the suite while I attended a weekend course in Seattle. My intention was to rent comfortable and inexpensive accommodations for the 4 days. The suite exceeded my expectations in every area..... cleanliness, location, quietness, bed comfort, shower pressure, privacy. We had 2 rental cars and did find the street parking a little challenging, but maybe had to walk a block and there were no restrictions with street parking, which was great. The suite size is perfect for a couple. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable. I will definitely stay in the suite during my future trips to Seattle.

Handsomely appointed and very comfy!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived for a Labor Day weekend to visiting our adult 31 old daughter and other relatives and to sight see. The room is in a safe neighborhood with plenty of street parking. We had no fears walking around the neighborhood and it was close to a rose garden park and the zoo. There was no problem finding street parking at any time. However, we were always back by 10:00 PM. Driving the streets in this neighborhood was almost pleasant. The traffic was polite, almost sparse and the driving was fairly safe with round abouts for the most part when there were not stop signs and street lights. The owners went all out to make the basement room handsome and functional. We kept two of the windows open and had fresh air and a comfortable temperature even though the outside air dipped into the 50's at night. It was in the 60's to low 70's outside during the day with some rain. The floor was carpeted, painted cement or tile and was always comfortable with bare feet. The room had very nice quality baseboard and wood work that was tastefully done. When the Murphy bed was up, the room was spacious and comfortable and had a home-like feel. The bed itself had quality bedding and the mattress was firm with no lumps or dips. We tended to hang around in the living room in the evening after dinner with our daughter and catch up which was very pleasant. The furniture was tasteful, comfy and seemed fairly new. The shower was instantly hot, but the bathroom was small. It was very clean as was the rest of the place. They provided very nice thick towels. I saw no bugs at all. It came with a coffee maker and assorted teas as well as a bottle of wine. We bought our own coffee as we drank more than they provided. There is a small gas range and a tiny oven with pans and a nice sized refrigerator. The only downside was that we could hear foot steps above, but the owners made a special effort to be a quiet as possible and were generally successful. They did leave for a couple days, but their house sitter was super quiet. We met one of the owners and he was very friendly and helpful. It was so much better than staying in a hotel! We would definitely stay here again if it was available!

Nice, comfortable studio apartment

  • 5 of 5

The studio apartment was nice and cozy and very comfortable. Perfect for the two of us. The location was also very convenient - we were just a couple blocks from beautiful Woodland Park and Green Lake, and from a quick express bus to downtown Seattle.
