Master bedroom with adjoining bath has queen bed, cable tv and ample closet/bureau space. It's one step away from in deck hot tub through sliding patio door.

West wing features include guest bedroom number one with twin beds and access to wraparound deck through its own sliding patio door. It shares modern renovated bath/shower/toilet with second guest room which has double bed and cable tv also with excellent storage and closet space.

This rental includes use of sailboats from Sag Harbor Sailing. Enjoy afternoons aboard one of our 23' Pearson Ensigns out on Noyac Bay and Shelter Island Sound. The Sag Harbor Sailing facility also offers kayaks and stand up paddle boards.

About Robert Sullivan

I live in East Hampton during the winter, late fall and early spring seasons. I move to Sag Harbor in the summer to tend to my sailing business. We teach sailing and rent boats. In the fall I am a USCG licensed charter boat captain and take anglers out in the waters around Montauk for light tackle and fly fishing trips. I am active in the East End community and have made many friends both casually and professionally here. I paint and have my work shown in exhibitions. The Hamptons abound in scenic beauty and I try to capture some of it on canvas. The house has a few of my pieces on display.

Why Robert Sullivan chose Hamptons

I purchased this property because I fell in love with the long tree lined driveway and the privacy I experienced coming upon the house.

The original dwelling required a complete overhaul which I had done before I moved in. We put a new roof, siding, insulation, windows, doors and bathrooms plus some additional construction.

The year before I moved in the previous owner put in new heating and air-conditioning. I have replaced the hot water system and fresh water storage bladder with in the past three years. Also the dishwasher, microwave and washer are new.

The furnishings are an eclectic mix of early American standards and highly functional contemporary.

Lounging on the deck or strolling around the lawn and gardens is a unique treat when the leaves on the beech and oaks have filled in. It is a green environment without a single neighbor in sight.

What makes this house unique

Access to all the benefits of the Hamptons is right down the driveway. Convenient to Amagansett, East Hampton, Sag Harbor or Montauk. All the great restaurants are nearby and the sun surf and famous East End light are yours for the choosing. Golf, tennis and water sports abound. Museums, theater and cultural events are going on within minutes of your door.

The beaches in the Hamptons consistently rate in the top ten in the entire country. From my house the Atlantic beaches are about two miles away. The white sand and green dunes are always clean with great surf. The bay beaches are easy to find and vary in size and make up but offer the most spectacular views of islands at sunset or sunrise and provide great photography or beach combing opportunities. I can't say enough about the fantastic natural beauty we enjoy here.
